I had noticed about the cheese sauce not morning up of course and happened to get a Lego guide book on architecture one of the things that is brought up in there is about how to do this technique specifically so very good book for anyone out there. 4:07 cannot remember the title at this moment I do know it's something Lego architecture or something or other I did purchase it through Amazon and definitely worth the investment has a place in a reference library for sure! Are those tips and tricks definitely worth keeping an eye on anything you realize even by accident sometimes can help with a model later. One cool thing about the cheese slopes not lining up sometimes that can actually give a distinct look to a roof line and actually is something that could be used for a good effect and not seen as an the downside if that's what you're going for in the design of the roof Another theme of cheese slopes is the really work well for under squaring Corners if you get the idea. For example was building a grandfather clock into one of my models. Around the base of it is brown cheese slopes and also one by tiles along with this. If you have cheese slopes and a tile on top of a one by a plate it is a pretty good matchup for things like corners and other places as well not perfect but works
@@TiagoCatarino they indeed had their charme, but I'm slowly also loving some new sets, the building techniques have evolved and imho opens a new window for builders (which I'm not one ahah)
Good point! Replacing a 2x2 round tile for the ones with holes in the middle would do great for a connection point... Hm... Might do a robot build one of these days ahah
Thank you for these and a good reminder on these techniques! That technique sandwiching the two round plates will be really useful for mech and creature builds!
Even though I've discovered all these techniques previously on my own, this video was very enjoyable! I'm sure for those that do not know these techniques will find the video very useful and will watch it over and over again. Thanks for sharing Tiago!
Nos. 6, 8, & 9 - as well as the first half of no. 10 - were all new to me. Thanks, Tiago! I can't wait to try out some of these tips and techniques that you show to us in these videos!
Hello Mr.Catarino. Thank you for the great tips. I especially liked the swing and the alignment of the 1x1 slope pieces. P.S. You’re gingerbread house is one of the best sets ever. I just love it.
With the “combinations” one, it would be cool to make a frog out of that because I’m pretty sure it would be possible if you instead used a 2x2 circle with a hole in it so you could make a body. You could also put eyes on the little brown parts.
Back in my day, Lego didn't have bumps going in different directions on the same piece. What's a "bracket"? There was single orientation that all the studs in the model would face, and that was that.
Awesome , thanks so much , we will definitely try some of these in our builds with my son. Keep doing what you love Tiago , amazing stuff , after watching your videos I am becoming creative again :)
These tips are superb! Your best video yet!! My favourite is the PERFECTLY aligned cheese slopes using headlight bricks. Never imagined this was possible. Blew my mind!
Wonderful! I love cheese slopes and headlight bricks! Actually I'm trying to collect all colors of cheese slopes as a physical color palette guide, it would be cool to see in person
Your face in the outro caught me off guard, I was expecting you to do the outro with just your voice and some hand gestures to fit the style of the video lol
I first learned this from 31023: Yellow Racers a LEGO set designed by genius LEGO designer Mike Psiaki. He has also made concept models for the Lunar Lander, so even though I haven't built it, I will say with confidence that's why you have the same feeling about the technique :)

Wow that tip with the cheese slopes blew my mind! I’ve always thought it was weird that they didn’t line up, so that is a game-changer!
welcome!

The headlight brick was the first and only way for SNOT back in the 80's, I love it.
Good old days! Not for me though ahah

Good point! Replacing a 2x2 round tile for the ones with holes in the middle would do great for a connection point... Hm... Might do a robot build one of these days ahah
I see chubybot using the technique all the time for his robots, where its main function is the knee joint
C Sch he dosent use it and even if he does it simply wont work and the one he uses is a technic piece
hachiroku24 how will you be able to connect that tho
hachiroku24 im also a fan of you

Indeed
Have fun! Can't wait to see what you do with them! ;)
1:11 you can make this really nice patern
-Hol up for a sec, its like ive seen that one before somewhere
Fantastic video 😍
Hamster productions?

Thank you! It is indeed a video for the general public, and not so much for the LEGO experts out there :) I'm still very glad you enjoyed it! :)
Some great connections man, love what you do. Definitely keep it up!

Glad you like them!
You made me love LEGO again!
Awesome video! These are all incredible! My favourite is the headlight brick pattern.
I need to come up with a part 2 some day! Thanks!
@@TiagoCatarino Part 2 would be great!
Awesome knowledge! Thanks a lot for sharing this tips!
I've been playing with lego since I was a kid and half of these techniques I didn't know. Thanks for the inspiration!
Great tips! Thank you!
You have an excellent mind-eye synthesis. And the elements used, develop creative construction techniques that are extraordinary.
Thanks for the information
I’ve watched this over and over; such cool tips :D
Thank you Lizzy! And thanks for the support as a member :)
thank you for the tips, i knew a few but learned some new ones i would never have figured out
So good😊😊

I actually know a few of these, Tiago, but this was still enjoyable to watch. Thank you! Keep it up!
Awesome video!
I love the swing!!!!
The swing has to be the most Out of the Box idea I’ve ever seen.
Thx for this wonderful helpful Video. Please share more of this fantastic and helpful technics.
I'm seeing a lot of interest so I will be looking into more like this for sure!!
So cool!!!
Thanks! Hope you learned a few tricks!
Once again I have been educated. I love your channel.
6:19 looks like a cute robot head
The cheese slope one blew my mind
Some lovely tips there, thanks for collecting them together! I will definitely use the headlight bricks and cheese slopes! 👍

😮💗ohhh. I learned so much with this video. My favorite so far
Thank you!! :)
I love the build that makes the cheese wedges line up using the headlight bricks. I’m now inspired to build with it.
Its a funny trick indeed :) have fun!!
@@TiagoCatarino Do you happen to know if there are any commercial Lego sets that use this technique? And thank you for sharing these!
No idea! I don't think I know this from a LEGO set!!
I like the cheese slope one!
6:12 i know that!! I have your skatehouse set! And the climbing stone walls uses the same technic awesome!!!!
I love your videos of mini things you could put more videos of the same and also lol I'm creating an annotation to create
I would like to see a Walt Disney World Main Street Train Station.🙂
A headlight brick doesn’t have the offset, of the anti-stud at the back. What you were using is an erlang brick
The most educational lego math video ever. Well done.
Ahah thanks! In therms of LEGO math alone, that should deserve its own video!
Very interesting!
Glad you found it to be!
Hoooo great !!
I noticed that the airplane wheel also fits with a 1 by 1 rounded tile, but it doesn't fit with a lego 1 by 1 stud ,i don't know why
Wonderful! I love cheese slopes and headlight bricks!

Sounds like an awesome plan. It does feel like cheese slopes come in tons of colors!
I didn't know how to align the cheese slopes before seeing this video
genius!
Wow!
Anyone else felt that swipe on 4:39
SNOT is the best! Are you using Imovie? I heard the music at the end of the video.
Yes I am! Its simple enough but does the job well!
Your face in the outro caught me off guard, I was expecting you to do the outro with just your voice and some hand gestures to fit the style of the video lol
1:33 wow
My favourite one is the stone flour! And yours?
Still a big fan of the clips to bracket one!
Please make a part 2 of this video.
I'll think about it! :)
Use some normal blocks not the rare one because the many people watch this don't have that blocks or piece but I love it thanks
You are best
This is really for moc creators
Right?! Thanks :)
Can u do how to make a benny space ship
I'm new to moc bldg but my favorite is number 6 for the chess wedges 🤯💕❤👍
😎 I know a thing or two about bricks!
Tc is smart :O
Which one is your favorite
#8 reminded me of step 16 in the Lunar Lander (10266) descent module which was an incredibly satisfying moment of the build.

I was looking something to help my husband...
A like good good fantasic lego
5 plates = 2 studs that means 2 point 5 plates = 1 stud but there are no point Plates
All that techics are in the ninjago city
If only we have those peice😒😒😒
Sorry. But most of them are pretty common...
I learned 2 only....the other 8 I've known since i was 7
