You should just build an upside down roof and use the classic 2×2plate with technic pin holes. It looks almost exactly the same, and is actually connected together instead of just sitting there. I guess the one downside is colors are probably more limited
Since I'm planning to build a circular landing platform (for my custom Nu-class shuttle - the one you have too) with a way leading to it, the last technique is definately the best for me. I really had a hard time thinking about the top layer. I'm trying to replicate the scene in CW where Delta Squad has its cameo.
I haven't seen any of these techniques!! Great contented. That sandbag wall definitely looked the coolest but I'm not sure I see it as sandbags...but definitely cool.
The 2x3 wedge plate circle is fantastic! So is the sandbag wall. Extremely creative ideas! You explain things very well. Thank you very much for all of your work making your videos. Best wishes! (Subscriber)
3:40 For the sand bag/stone wall build, I wonder how it would look if instead of using the 1x1 flat plate to fill the gaps in on the back side, instead using the same build technique with the levers on both sides and using 3x bricks and plates to cover the top and sides to make this build be useable from both sides?
Your camo mat - using the inverted tile with the bar on the other side let's you use inverted hollow round 1x1 plates for additional variety. You can also put the soup bowl tiles on top for 5texture
Funny enough, just before watching the video i saw that last technic shown on IG by Tips&Bricks, looks super nice! Quite part intensive tho if you plan to you use that design on a larger scale. Great video, all of these technic can come real handy, thanks for sharing with us!
1:38 so know it’s not Lego but on them end tubes or and all of the round bits a little blob of bluetac could be used under each tube to hold it in place and to stop it rolling around it’s not damaging to the bricks like using super glue would be and if you use a small enough ball of tac you won’t even see it.

Not me building literal blobs on a base plate
Yeehaw
Not me seeing bean soup on so many videos
Blobs can be good!

you could also use 2x2 modified plates with technic hole underneath to get the same tiled look and it uses less pieces. reference ninjago city set
Much better than leaving those 62462/75535 without any connection indeed.

Awesome! That will look great.
These techniques are super helpful! The last one might be my favorite but I also like the one where you made a circle with a bunch of wedge plates.
Man that last one was so tough I had built that multiple times already and i still messed up haha.
Gotta love here to learn something new. Definitely gonna be using these techniques in my current MOC project.
Nice! Good luck.
I like how your videos are getting funnier it makes them more enjoyable
Thanks, I am trying to make them more entertaining.
I really like the barrier technique and the floor technique. Keep up work!
Thank you.
On the Camo net a few random leaf elements help too
I haven't seen any of these techniques!! Great contented. That sandbag wall definitely looked the coolest but I'm not sure I see it as sandbags...but definitely cool.
Lol they are supposed to be bricks or something the round shape just reminds me of sand bags.
That's cool. Sand bags cool, including the netting covered in the studs
Might put an edge in the front and back of the corrugated roof to help hold the technic bits in place
The camo net and barrier technique look cool!
Thank you.

Ya that would work, although the edges may need to be adjusted to fit with a wall.
@@coconutbricksstudios gotcha, I was thinking that may work to make a scenic half wall for a city of some kind
Thank you very much, these videos really help me improve my Mocs and improve the realisticness!
Thank you glad they helped.
These are seriously always such helpful videos! Thanks for sharing your tips man!
I am glad I enjoy making tutorial videos, so hopefully I will make one more before the end of the year.

Brilliant video and sand bags looked amazing great work keep it up
Thanks that was one of my favorites.
This is a very helpful video. Thanks coconut!
You're welcome!
Super cool! More practice is needed, keep these coming!
Can you show us how to build rounded walls from masonary bricks? I’ve been struggling to make the perfect defense wall for my Star Wars battle MOCs.
Just amazing all these guys are.
Thanks man I appreciate it.
Thank you for the tutorial! Would you recommend to build MOCs using physical bricks, or is it better to first design it in Bricklink Studio?
Please do a video on Snot building and another on stud reversal.
These are dope! I’m definitely gonna try some of these techniques.
Nice hope they work out for you.
This is fantastic, thank you for sharing these
Those technic pin connectors could be swapped with the technic pin 1x2 plates, as well
Thank you so much
Great video! Definitely some great building tips!
The 'sandbags' could be weathered sci fi style by taking off the lever based and adding ie neon green 'goobags' spillage.
wow!thanks for all these cool tips.
Your welcome.
Glad this showed up in my recommended I am building a moc on my RUclips channel and I had to cancel it thank you for making this video
You're glad it could help.
I just saw that sandbag technique on insta the other day. It is pretty cool looking
Nice! Detroitika made a really cool build with them.

Bacon religion 🥓
Your welcome, it is very part intensive but I guess that's the trade off with a simpler less cool design.
@@coconutbricksstudios Fully agreed, intricate and design with depth don't come in a single piece and i appreciate that!
Beautiful designs!!!
Thanks this helps with my new Clone Base moc
Glad it could help.
I finally found a great use for my hundreds of LBG levers. Thanks coconut.
Dude the bunker lever switch one vertical could be used in white for star wars walls
1:52 Better yet, tilt the roof so that it's at an angle, to keep those round things in place.
Wow awesome techniques so much detail
Hey I love the vid but maybye could you make a vid on how to get all these different parts
There are lots of places to get these parts Lego sets, Bricklink, or garage sales.
Sure, just dig out your bright green technic pin connectors, as one does. 😂 I have white and black and have never seen another color! 😊

Coconut u should make 2 videos of building a moc for my cheapest mini figs and ur most exspensive figs
Hmmm interesting idea.
Ok that was awesome.
Appreciate it.
If I can make these circles using wedge plates small enough, I'm going to make a bunch of footprints for a dinosaur mock I'm building.
Those look so cool
Thanks man.
That camo net is awesome great idea
Bruh you are very good at making these awesome mocs
New sub! Luv me lego! Great techniques, well compiled - eay to listen to voice 👍🏻
Hey love your videos keep it up I'll use some of these techniques in my own moc 👍
Love to hear it.
Thx
Very nice! Thanks for sharing
Genius ❤❤
Neat. Thanks.
Hey Coconut, Would you be interested in buying set 75088? I have one if you are interested. Love your content! Thanks!!
Thanks for the offer, but most of my money is going to mocs at the moment.
Were dit you get your recon troopers
I bought them from a guy on Instagram.
Does are smart design
There are some great Lego designers out there.
Lego with no points of connection, what a great idea I'm sure it's not annoying and dumb
wow awesome !! Great video man !!! like and sub for you !
Me watching this knowing i don't have any of these parts
Cool
Thank you
@@coconutbricksstudios No problem! Keep up your content
Just casually makes a lego Stargate.
Years ago when I was younger. I used my old tri-droid (that was missing a few pieces) to make a (deactivated) StarGate.
Fantastic video!

@@coconutbricksstudios YOU FOOL, IVE BEEN TRAINED IN THE JEDI ARTS BY COUNT DOOKU
No hate here…. But please cut them nails they make me uncomfortable
I dont like some of these builds where they are shy about bumps. Legos have bumps.
Real life doesn't, bumps look bad
Do u only use Lego bricks bc Lego is really over priced and I know more people that don’t use just Lego bricks so do u ?
What is "MOC"
Same color ... Lego ? What a Joke 😅🤣😅🤣
you really showed me some green tubes balancing on a roof and called it a technique???
cut your nails
Definitely nothing advances about testing Lego pieces on top of a plate. Pathetic
Cool
Thank you.
