I highly agree with all these tips! And thank you so much for the shoutout! Glad that I inspire you! btw i need to get me some of em gucci dark orange pieces it’s so hot bruh!
Best thing about the old Grass/Stem pieces is that you can stick them together in the small, narrow hole in the bottom. That sounds lewd... but it makes for some good bushes/shrubs and with the new flat leave pieces they can look even better. Have to try that combo out at some point.
@Omid yea the old ones that go directly on studs have a small hole that, coincidentally, fits the tip of the stems. So you pretty much branch out from three stems to nine.
The video editing, the tips, the smooth voice, all of these make this video excellent! Keep up the good work TD bricks! Beautiful mocs too btw, do you have a picture gallery somewhere to be seen?
One I wish you had mentioned was the joint parts, the smaller ones. They're commonly used for truck hitches, but I use them to make large lanky robots.
Francis K here are my 3 rules for beginners: 1. Take elements from existing mocs but don’t blatantly copy them 2. Start with basic shapes, add small details later 3. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE don’t go too big. A 16x16 plate as basis is enough for a nice moc, look at this nice build at 7:43. It’s really small, but works extremely well.
I really miss when his videos were calm and interesting, today hes just talking super fast, cutting 100 times in a second , and putting 1000 different musics in the background. It just feels like a stroke nowadays
If you ever try making roofs or large ships or crazy terrains I recommend using lego technic, I also recommend using technic if your builds are going to be extremely big
For number 4 I use these these parts from laser pegs for the water to make lakes. Laser pegs is kind of like lego but only transparent so you could also use that also.
Just starting out and appreciate your tips. How to make different angles, like the roof you showed, is a tip I needed for a MOC that I have in mind. I'll keep watching.
If you are near a lego store, they often have a lot of the 1x1 studs. I grad a lot of them when filling space in the pick a brick tubs. I figure why waste the space? My tubs tend to be very heavy when i finish.

I would love to see more videos like this about creative/useful ideas for using specific pieces.
Agreed, if you watch some of the top 10 videos you could get pretty creative

Totally agree with everything here. Use all of these so often! Great vid, love the yellow background, and all the little builds are fire!
“Makes your build pretty pretty hot”
Sir, my lego build has been set on fire
Transparent red, yellow, and orange bricks are great for building fire.
I just burn something while I was watching this cooking.

Agreed, that vid was toxic. Lego is lego as far as I'm concerned.
I just use technic, gearboxes are more interesting that a sideways tile.
I love brick bricks and just other cool 1x2 bricks. I love using them in my Mocs. I also agree with the water tips
