It's fascinating how Katie's gotten a lot more expressive and outspoken. When she first joined, she seemed really shy and reserved. BEG is one of the last standing older gen groups, and they're also one of the best in terms of musical accomplishments. I hope they release more music in the future, but in the meantime, Gain is definitely going to release more solo stuff, and her music is always interesting too.
VERY IMPORTANT: BrownEyedGirls had their first comeback after 4 years on the 28th of October. They came back with 2 new MV's. The first one (their title track) is called "Abandoned" and the second one is called "Wonder Woman", and they are both amazing. Abandoned is a really slow and powerful sinister song with a genuinely creepy story when you look at the lyrics and throughout the video briefly shown imagery (siamese triplets that all share their right leg with each other and get married but everyone dies on their wedding day.... yeah, it's dark). Meanwhile, Wonder Woman is just a fun and upbeat song with lots aND LOTS OF DRAGQUEENS (it's truly beautiful).

As someone who's been into kpop since DB5K era, I would like to see them reacting to 1st gen kpop such SHINHWA, BoA, CSJH, Rain. I mean, they're true legend which still active (beside CSJH but one if their members was vocal mentor for SNSD) and the inspiration for the kpop groups nowadays.. And comparing their old videos with their recent videos would be exciting I guess, as we could see how the musicality is progressed and changed within the era/century.

I think 'Brave New World' has to be one of the best KPop songs ever, with that driving, thumping bass groove and a really desent vocal part. Those cello and violin parts that accent the later part of the verse are just orgasmic and the way that bass comes back in part way through the rap section....Wow!! While Ga-in starts the F6 (whistle register high note) in ' Sixth Sense' and then Narsha transitions in and finishes it off going down the scale. Key note: Narsha is the best with vocal techniques in #BEG. Narsha can hit the F6 live, while Ga-in's F6 tends to be flat when performing live.

Yes! Vibrato and Archangels definitely! I'd be so interested in hearing the musicians take on those songs. They're both incredibly well produced tracks with such different styles. Sting and Marionette are good songs but very simple production-wise

Juliette W But I don't think that's what this channel is for. They're listening and reacting to the use of classical sounds and music. A lot of people keep forgetting what their aim is. Don't get me wrong, I also wanted them to react to stuff before I realised that they wanted to listen to classical music only. 'Move' and 'Danger' are one of my favourite songs but there wasn't really any usage of classic instruments. :-)

Also MVs or Concepts may not be the main focus of this channel but it’s not like they don’t comment on them.. I can think of many instances where they enjoyed a choreography or cinematography or disliked lyrics etc. it’s not like they don’t have any opinions outside of musicality. and I for one am interested in hearing them. It makes sense to only show the reactors what she deems as 'musically interesting' songs so that they're not sitting there reacting to a bunch of rather mediocre songs, wasting their time. They're all busy people, most of them students, who give up a lot of time for these videos.
와 신기하네요 ㅎㅎ 중간소리가 없다고 호른으로만은 중간소리를 채워줄 수 없고 stagnant하고 그냥 남성적이려고 노력했다고 말을 하는데 ㅋㅋㅋ 진짜 음악 공부하는 사람이라 작곡가의 의도를 그대로 간파하네요 ㅎㅎ 진짜 신기하게도 드럼 자체도 말그대로 정말 군부대의 행진 발소리를 모티브로 만들었고 음악 자체가 위아래로 너무 화려하게 드럼 이따만큼... 스트링 이따만큼... 심지어는 호른도 들어가고 일반적으로 팝댄스 음악에는 흔히 쓰이지 않는 악기를 들이붓다보니 어쩔 수 없이 중간 역할을 해줄 악기가 결국에는 애매한 드럼이 되어버렸다고 말을 했었는데 그거를 2분만에 바로 간파를하네요 ㅎㅎ 그리고 가인님이랑 나르샤님 돌고래 소리듣자마자 머라이어캐리가 자랑스러워하겠다라고 한게 참 기엽네여 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

As someone who's been into kpop since DB5K era, I would like to see them reacting to 1st gen kpop such SHINHWA, BoA, CSJH, Rain.
I mean, they're true legend which still active (beside CSJH but one if their members was vocal mentor for SNSD) and the inspiration for the kpop groups nowadays..
And comparing their old videos with their recent videos would be exciting I guess, as we could see how the musicality is progressed and changed within the era/century.

Love the reaction to 'Brave New World'. Looks like it got some adrenalin flowing in the Classic reactors. I think 'Brave New World' has to be one of the best KPop songs ever, with that driving, thumping bass groove and a really desent vocal part. Those cello and violin parts that accent the later part of the verse are just orgasmic and the way that bass comes back in part way through the rap section....Wow!! While Ga-in starts the F6 (whistle register high note) in ' Sixth Sense' and then Narsha transitions in and finishes it off going down the scale. Key note: Narsha is the best with vocal techniques in #BEG. Narsha can hit the F6 live, while Ga-in's F6 tends to be flat when performing live.

Yes! Vibrato and Archangels definitely! I'd be so interested in hearing the musicians take on those songs. They're both incredibly well produced tracks with such different styles. Sting and Marionette are good songs but very simple production-wise

I saw them in Korea back in 2015 for their 'BASIC' album promotions, after 5years of being a fan, and honestly, going there for their comeback was one of the best decisions I've ever made, they're so committed to their craft and concepts it's a beauty to behold - blown away the same as your were!

hmm true, it isn't, but wouldn't it be interesting for them to see just how very different the concept is from the things they saw in K-Pop so far and even how different it is from western music? Juliette W But I don't think that's what this channel is for. They're listening and reacting to the use of classical sounds and music. A lot of people keep forgetting what their aim is. Don't get me wrong, I also wanted them to react to stuff before I realised that they wanted to listen to classical music only. 'Move' and 'Danger' are one of my favourite songs but there wasn't really any usage of classic instruments. :-)
Masked Fangirl I think they should react to it and decide for themselves.. it’s unfair to keep something off the react list because one person found it boring.
Also MVs or Concepts may not be the main focus of this channel but it’s not like they don’t comment on them.. I can think of many instances where they enjoyed a choreography or cinematography or disliked lyrics etc. it’s not like they don’t have any opinions outside of musicality. and I for one am interested in hearing them.

+smilexlovexlive To be fair though, these guys give up a lot of time already to react to all these M/V's and while they do comment on cinematography and choreo they're mainly interested in the musicality of the song itself. It makes sense to only show the reactors what she deems as 'musically interesting' songs so that they're not sitting there reacting to a bunch of rather mediocre songs, wasting their time. They're all busy people, most of them students, who give up a lot of time for these videos.

와 신기하네요 ㅎㅎ 중간소리가 없다고 호른으로만은 중간소리를 채워줄 수 없고 stagnant하고 그냥 남성적이려고 노력했다고 말을 하는데 ㅋㅋㅋ 진짜 음악 공부하는 사람이라 작곡가의 의도를 그대로 간파하네요 ㅎㅎ 진짜 신기하게도 드럼 자체도 말그대로 정말 군부대의 행진 발소리를 모티브로 만들었고 음악 자체가 위아래로 너무 화려하게 드럼 이따만큼... 스트링 이따만큼... 심지어는 호른도 들어가고 일반적으로 팝댄스 음악에는 흔히 쓰이지 않는 악기를 들이붓다보니 어쩔 수 없이 중간 역할을 해줄 악기가 결국에는 애매한 드럼이 되어버렸다고 말을 했었는데 그거를 2분만에 바로 간파를하네요 ㅎㅎ 그리고 가인님이랑 나르샤님 돌고래 소리듣자마자 머라이어캐리가 자랑스러워하겠다라고 한게 참 기엽네여 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
