Thank you for the Brown Eyed Girls reaction. B.E.G is the oldest active girl group in K-POP. They haven't put out a song since 2020, but I believe they'll make a comeback this year.
You're right Gain is one of the members in this. Alot of their music is pretty dynamic. Another great and trippy song by them is called Brave New World.
as a 2nd generation kpop stan, those songs way back are THE BOP!!! ps. as what some might know, BEG may be inactive but they are one of the 2nd gen idols who still have all the members original line up and have not yet officially disbanded. pps. and before hyunah, hani and jennie, we had gain 😄
My girls 😭 💛🖤💛🖤 Brown Eyed Girls!!! I love them dearly, Sixth Sense was my first comeback with them and I was definitely blown away. Abracadabra is their hugest hit, it helped push the EDM/dance electronic wave into kpop back in 2009, EXID did a cover to it and for Sixth Sense Lovelyz did cover it on Queendom season 1. Kim Eana wrote both of these songs, she has written many of BEG's songs as well as other artists like IU just give you an idea on how diverse a song writer she is. But the members JeA the leader and lead vocalist, Narsha the main vocalist, Ga-in the maknae, vocalist, center and then Miryo the rapper. JeA signed with a company and helped form the group, Narsha was someone she went to school with, Miryo is a well known underground rapper and they found Ga-in at a singing competition show after she failed. They are the longest running girl group with no member changes. They originally were a ballad R&B group and debuted in 2006 but as the music scene changed so did their music! Their last release was an Xmas song in Jan of 2020 BUT they recently met up to have dinner which is something they don't do often since despite being together for a long time they aren't like mega close, Ga-in and Narsha don't have each other's phone numbers saved 🤣 but I 🙏 for a 2023 comeback! That would make me happy
I hope they do comeback. I also think that people are delusional when they think every single member of a group is so close..I think some groups are closer than others, but people lose sight that these are still real people. If you take any group of 4 friends, some are closer than others, some don't hang out with some unless with the full group and other things like that. I never wanna hear that groups don't like each other, that's just sad and makes it harder to be a fan. But I think it's crazy to believe that everyone is sooooo loving and innocent. People lose sight of the fact that they are on camera, and of course you will act accordingly. But on camera and off can be two completely different situations and attitudes
@@BestFriendsReact I always kinda liked that about BEG because they're close but not super close so they just be saying the most ridiculous stuff on variety shows and kinda don't care about their image, like once Ga-in was saying something nice and heartfelt about their debut days since she was much younger than the other 3 and how they helped take care of her since she was still in school but Narsha was just like yeah the only thing we didn't do for her is breast freed her 🤣🤣🤣 like why would say that on a variety show. They also talked about how for their 2015 comeback they debated adding in a new younger member just not come off as the scary older group but ultimately were like yeah no one could deal being with us 🤣
You're in for a ride with BEG. All their discography is worth checking, but Kill Bill, Brave New World and Warm Hole are top notch, each one of them have a different style, the girls are awesome. You recognised Gain, which is also amazing, I think her most famous song is Paradise Lost, but my personal favourite is Carnival (The Last Day), her last released single.
You guys rock, legends, most forward thinking progressive and technically excellent group that came out when Girls Generation was all the rage. Kpop gem here
You might have also seen Dreamcatcher do a dance relay cover to Abracadabra, which is maybe why the song was ringing bells when you first started watching the MV. Everglow and EXID have also done covers of Abracadabra (and I'm sure more of them). And yeah, you heard Lovelyz do a cover of Sixth Sense on Queendom. Another song from them that is worth checking out is Kill Bill. BTW of female idols, Miryo is 2nd on the list of most writing credits (Moonbyul claimed the #1 spot just last year). JeA is ranked pretty high as well. If you want more dance beats, you might want to check out T-Ara. They are another older group and had a totally self-produced comeback back in 2021 with their song Tiki Taka. Some of the other songs that I would recommend include "Sugar Free", "Number Nine", "Roly Poly" (maybe just the dance version for it since the full version of the MV is 12 minutes long), and "Bo Peep Bo Beep"
It's cool that we have been able to go back and check out more groups from previous generations. It's great to finally get the origin story for some covers that we have heard and get to know who influenced kpop today
your faces :D yeah you recognized gain (ka-in). you might have heard abracadabra before since a lot of people covered it in some form due to the iconic hip choreo. even dreamcatcher did a dance relay to it \:D/ beg are actually very good singers. they started out as somewhat of a ballad group but had to switch it up to pop just to try to survive since they were really starving artists at one point. I hate to call them a one hit wonder with abracadabra, but they never really replicated the success of that song.
I would like to suggest another one of their title tracks that I think you two will enjoy called KILL BILL; and the mv is a funny parody of the Tarantino movie of the same name! ruclips.net/video/8taPqxNjiz4/видео.html
Omg thank u for checking brown eyed girls...u should check out GAIN, one of the members of BEG...shes kinda is like the madonna of k-pop...very provocative

I'm looking forward to it

I might have been wrong hundreds of times during our reactions, but at least I was right this time 🤣
Classic songs from the legendary Brown Eyed Girls.

This is my brown eyed girls playlist.
Wonder Woman
Abracadabra
Brave New World
Sixth Sense
PSY used their key dance for his single "Gentlemen", and member Gain appeared in the MV.
You really should check Kill Bill, Sign and Come Closer. Also, their vocals are crazy in their first and second album
Glad this wasnt a try not to move challenge 😎😱

That song haha
Memorable

I would recomment "Kill Bill" if you continue reacting to them. Also, "Recipe" but it doesn't have a MV.
Aabracabra is THAT song.

Check out dreamcatcher’s relay dance to Abracadabra. You won’t be disappointed >
