Sulli left f(x) in 2014 and had a solo. f(x) had their last comeback as 4 members in 2015, with the song 4 Walls. Sulli passed in 2019.
The reason f(x) did not have comebacks after 2015 was that Victoria was promoting in China and they could not have a 3-member comeback. Luna and Amber pursued solos and Krystal pivoted to acting.
Eventually their contracts ended and none of them chose to renew, likely due to years of mismanagenent by SM.
Obviously Sulli's passing had a huge impact on the girls, but it isn't the reason for their lack of recent activity as a group.

You need to check out INFINITE. They have so many good songs with unique sound or i can say INFINITE sound. Back then, just by their intro, people can tell that its infinite. They have great vocals, knife-like choreography and i love the instruments version of their song so much!!(they have an intrument album btw). Have a listen to their latest comeback last year with New Emotion and also Killing Voice!!! They established their own company and currently active individually with drama, musical, fanmeeting, movie and it is said that their upcoming album is in the making. Also check out their lil bro from previous company, Golden Child and Drippin.

2nd gen! K-popper since 07! INFINITE was know for their synchronized choreography and yet able to kill it with live vocals! They were always compared to Teen Top. 2AM and 2PM technically are subgroups of ONE DAY. Their fandom names are I AM and HOTTEST respectively. T-ara was known for EDM as their main genre. MissA was JYP’s girl group after Wonder Girls. Actress Suzy was the youngest member. JYP did not take care of them well.

And we’re the first kpop group to have a hit on Billboard with the chaser . Which is still in the top 100 of billboard best ever kpop tracks

I've been a kpop fan since 2009 but I have stanned groups from 1st to 5th gen. It's really nice to see you making an effort to go back to previous generations! I personally also think that 2nd gen was the best generation of kpop.
Trying to reply to some of your remarks:
-T-Ara did not have a come back, that group's journey ended terribly (do look it up, it's an incredible mess) and to this day we still say they deserve to get justice. They had bangers and dominated charts with huge hits.
-The group that did comeback was KARA! They came back with "When I Move" which is a great song and is very kara-like. As a fan I was very satisfied.
-INFINITE was also a massively popular group and a small company miracle. They had to live with their CEO at some point. Then they came back with the song "be mine" which was a hit and saved the company. They also have another iconic song "The Chaser" which is considered one of the best kpop songs of all time. I definitely recommend checking them out!!
-SS501 was DBSK's rival group, so in a way you could maybe consider them 1.5 gen rather than 2nd gen lol. DBSK obviously won that match-up but they were really popular at the time, their song "UR Man" was so catchy that it was banned during exam season.
-About f(x), they actually did have comebacks after Sulli's departure (she first left the group, then the tragedy happened).
    That's all I can remember!

I watched a kdrama called high school love on and the intro for the series was heartthrob by INFINITE “F” pay attention to this. I got so hooked with the song the whole day I listen to it for 10 hours and I swear by it. 😭 and to my stupidity I thought the actual group was INFINITE for a whole week I couldn’t find so much about them it said debut year was 2014 and they only had albums and singles from that year I was furious. And yeah u problem thinking” how could u miss infinite itself while u were searching for INFINITE F “ yeah I guess I thought it was the same rather the Fwas their or not ? But thankfully for the algorithm since I was searching for infinite f nonstop and listening to their song for a week. Infinite comeback teaser was all over the places and the three guys i recognise was there as well but with three other as well. And that’s when all he’ll broke loose 😈 I was seeing the whole catalog from come back again, she’s back, BTD, nothings over, be mine etc. ohh boy I have right now over 150+ songs on Spotify playlist just by them LET THAT SINK IN for a sec 150 !!! The highest I had before that was twice with 13 songs. And they “were “ my ult still like them but INFINITE HAS COMPLETLY SHATTERED THEM. I started listening to infinite mid august 2023. And they were the most played artist of the year and all too songs was from them. The most listen song I had was 500 listen time and the song is SHES BACK I FUCKING LOVE THE SONG SO MUCH ALL OF THEM it switches so much right now it’s MAN IN Love and SHOT a b-side track. I’m so surprise how I have never heard about them. I will stop for now I went overboard I see but this is to show my dedication. INSPIRIT FOREVER 💛💛

Sulli actually left f(x) in 2015 and she left us in 2019. She said left the group bcs she wanted to pursue acting, but at that time she also confirmed dating Choiza, a rapper from Dynamic Duo, today its kinda like Chaeyoung with Zion T, but back then hiphop is not that well-presented in mainstream media, it was a really big scandal to knetz. After that f(x) only have one and last official comeback as a four when they promoted 4 Walls in 2015. Sulli only appeared on magazine and some movies after that. Only in 2019, the year was marked as the comeback year of Sulli, she comeback with a mini album, appear on variety shows and ofc she had some movies back then, but thats probably when the pressure are going out of control. She left us in October that year
I probably will be slapped by their fans saying this, but even tho SM didnt promote them that well, I always thought SM actually doing well managing f(x), Sulli even stay in SM after she left f(x). They promote them more like an artists than an idol, the members have so many solo activities and yet managed to have some of the best albums in kpop, I always believe that they're the blueprint of 3rd and 4th gen. If you're an old kpop fans you know how f(x) barely appear on variety shows, only amber has known for that but she still doing more music than that. Its like compared to other SM groups, f(x) looks like they have more freedom of choosing what they wanted to do.
I think the reason we lost so many beautiful souls in kpop is the blind obsessions for their image, and that actually been done by both the knetz and kpop fans. In f(x), Sulli actually never really have to do aegyo that much, but because koreans already used to seeing her as a child actrees, they just like seeing her as an innocent child. So her dating choiza and the amount of movies she done rebelliously is what makes her fans go wild. In one of the variety shows she discussed how people used to making rumors about her and its crazy. Hope we can all learn from her, please be kind. Rest in peace, Sulli

One of the hardest parts of SHINee coming back from their loss was, how do you cover the parts of one of the most talented vocalists in Kpop? Although there are other vocalists who can sing his lines, his vocal "color" was absolutely unique. So, the fans still want to hear the old stuff, and the four members now have to cover five parts. And they have done so masterfully. Most of the time Taemin covers Jonghyun's parts because he has the most similar range, but Onew and Key will step in sometimes, and even Minho on occasion. They also had to adapt the choreography, which was already some of the most intricate in the business. So not only is SHINee impressive for carrying on and making great new music, they've been able to keep up the high standards of live performances by adapting the older songs.
Of course, in the recent tour, Onew was not feeling well, so they had to cover some 5 part songs with just 3 people, missing both of their top vocalists. Incredible job!

Most songs from 2nd gen SM groups are Korean remakes of western artists songs.
TVXQ's Mirotic is a remake of German singer Sarah Connor's song Under My Skin
Girls' Generation's Run Devil Run is a remake of Ke$ha's demo song Run Devil Run
Girls' Generation's Genie is a remake of Nathalie Makoma's song I Just Wanna Dance

Bruh, I became a fan during the 2nd gen and I freaking know all of these songs.... Except for the Nina song hahaha.
The lack of CNBlue, FT Island, Secret (at least Song Ji Eun with BYG is there) and After School (at least Diva is the ending song). is disappointing but it's voting so it's fine.
Another song that everyone always forget is One More Time by Jewelry.
Here are some songs that could also be there
    GD - Heartbreaker
Dal Shabet - Supa Dupa Diva (their debut song, really catchy)
    Rainbow - To Me
    Troublemaker - Troublemaker
Some APink and Girls' Day songs. Tho some of their popular songs (in the case of Girl's Day, better songs) are released during the 3rd gen.

i got into kpop in 2005 exactly, that was still early 2nd gen so i got curious of the title of this compilation video from this reaction. and when i saw some songs...i was like...hmm, no. these weren't ever considered legendary. seems like just a fan of few big agencies idols who just mixed in a few other idols/songs they know, some even unknown one(s) to not look obvious though it still came out that way. even as a Nine Muses fan, i would say Dolls is more considered legendary in popularity though personally i do prefer Figaro n many other Nine Muses songs, but Figaro is often even forgotten amongst their many great songs so how is it legendary?. and no Rainbow's A? Kara's Mr? BEG's L.O.V.E?(the song actually manage to win a lot alongside Jewelry's One More Time which probly considered 1st gen, during the time Wonder Girls n SNSD dominating kpop girlgroup scene) SS501 TripleS Ur Man(don't like the song though i love SS501 but that song was huge)? No FT Island? CNBlue? cmon they're bands but obviously kpop bands n i remember FT Island was insanely huge n CN Blue won during their first few days of promoting. no Apink? AOA? even Secret had more popular songs than the solo listed. those are just some really popular songs i remember from back then but didn't see here while skimming through(i stopped watching n just skipped thru once i saw questionable 'legendary' songs here). there are many more songs that are more fitting for the 'legendary' title, maybe the video maker/editor should title it 'my fav 2nd gen songs' instead. anyway, not complaining to you since you're just reacting. just a pity these compilation videos didn't truly capture what it claimed to.

please do bigbang discography, my first kpop from Rain since my cousin was a fan of his. then i started discover more. the kids in school were always singing and dancing to snsd. but bigbang were it for me. 2nd generations were golden era though. i like most of the songs and just vibing with all the groups. i feel like older gen kpop fans knows all the kpop songs back then. appreciating the music and talents. while now, most kpop fan only listen to group they stan and being toxic to other groups.

U-Kiss episode pls omg I’d cry. They have my favorite song ever called 만만하니. Which I think translates to I Am Easy? Something like that. But they had a reunion last year and I was so happy, didn’t include all the members cause they have had multiple lineup switches throughout the years, they even had a dingo killing voice!! So I’d love for y’all to check out their journey, my fave 2nd gen group along with Shinee and 2pm.

OMG how can you not know SS501?? They were huge in the mid 2000s! The only rivals of TVXQ. Throughout the video I figured that you guys don't know groups that had a short prime era - like SS501 and Miss A.
Miss A was kind of the minor league, like T-ara and 4 minute, except for Suzy who has become huge as an actor and CF star.
SS501, on the other hand, was major for a while, but they disbanded in 2010 or 2011

ZE:A missing in this list shows how underrated they are. I feel really bad for them. ZE:A is a nine member group who debuted in 2010 under star empire ent. Some of the members are super successful nowadays that you are very likely to know them. Park Hyungsik as an actor who played in hwarang, strong woman do bongsoon , happiness and recently doctor slump. Im siwan as an actor too who played in strangers from hell and many more dramas and movies and kwang hee as a comedian and mc , notably on weekly idol but also in many many other shows too. They didn't officially disband but they have not been active since 2015 unfortunately. But their discography is very nice. You need to check out ghost of the wind and breath at least. It's a crime no one seems like to remember them these days. Most of the people even don't know hyungsik , siwan or kwanghee were kpop idols back then.
