Infected blood scandal: 'A cover up' and 'a deliberate attempt to lie'

- Clive Smith from the Haemophilia Society has told Sky News that conclusions of a cover up in the infected blood scandal is "not a surprise" to him.
It comes after a public inquiry found that the infected blood scandal was "not an accident" - and its failures lie with "successive governments, the NHS, and blood services".

It looks like a deliberate programme, medical data, well funded research but not clean blood supplies.....
As a doctor who once worked in the NHS and still admire its founding principles, I am ashamed. I do not absolve any of the political parties that have governed us. As to GMC's claim to encourage a "Duty of Candour"....
Exactly the same is happening now with covid vaccines and childhood vaccines. Why isn't RS saying sorry for these. Will even this timid comment be censored? I should be saying far far worse. We are living under a system of government that just cannot be trusted with our safety and must be changed. This government and civil service is infested with extreme corruption and a truth and reconciliation approach to government reform is required.
