From a foreigner- why did it take 30 years to investigate????
Because it is an illegal state monopoly called The NHS
from a native - because uk gov dot con only managed to successfully misdirect, obfuscate & cover it up for that long
Sadly, that's about the speed a massive government works. If they could have gotten away with it and hidden it forever they would have, never expect honesty from politics.
Yes, I still don't know how and when this was 'discovered'. Is it a case of someone new coming in and making a connection or something ?

Having gone through 20yrs of hell and getting rid of the HCV, I'm more concerned with recovery and how to do that!
Victoria Crosses across the board for everyone in the NHS who kept this supressed for so long. Marvelous achievement
Was it incompetence, money, careers, prestige. ?
The NHS needs ripping apart and rethinking.

Why are all these scandals allowed to perpetuate for so long (eg. post office, jimmy saville) - there must be much harder penalties like very large proporational jail sentences for all people the chain of command, not just washout with an apology
THE FINDINGS ARE DO NOT EVER, BELIEVE OR TRUST YOUR GOVERNMENT.
Like all public inquiries, the outcome is predetermined with the participants and chair chosen to establish a plausable excuse in order to vindicate any wrongdoers. Much like problem, reaction, solution.
and many of those that are responsible will no longer be alive either.
@@adrianparker-e9f So the consequences should be born by those that have directly benefitted from the corruption.
why didn’t Ritchy W.E.F. beat the ref’s whistle & just bung in some 2-4-1 ‘apologies’ for the convid jags too while he was at it ? he could have gotten ahead of things for once 😂
1980-1986. Professor Sir Abraham Goldberg
1987-1992. Professor Sir William Asscher, previously chair of the Committee on the Review of Medicines[5]
1993-1998. Professor Sir Michael Rawlins
1999-2005. Professor Sir Alasdair Breckenridge
Cant find their names in the report, why?
Strange everyone has a Sir in their name lol
These scandals will never stop until people are held accountable. There should be routine prison sentences for people who knowingly are engaged in these activities. Not the scape goats at the bottom of the pyramid but the doctors etc.. but the people like Kenneth Clarke at the top tiers. Until this happens nothing will change 🙏
Clarke? He authorised £10 million to the Haemophiliac Society to start investigation into infected blood.

God can do everything. Why didn't he save his son and forgive everyone who believed in him? Did he run out of logic
It was deliberate
