I just tried with a Pi 2 yesterday, slow but I got video, I want to hdmi output in my Fatshark for guests. Wasn’t aware of digiview on pi! I tried with the node.js and voc-poc. I ordered a Pi 4 I’m gonna give it a try!
hello, thanks for the video, very useful;) I am new to the world of PIE, so I have a probably stupid question, but how did I turn off the PIE when finished? because for me everything works but since digiview is a program which takes everything (not under linux or other) I do not know how to turn it off properly. every time I turn it off, (via power supply (no choice!) ..), so I have to redo the image on the sd card, and it's very annoying .. so please if you have a solution to turn off the PIE cleanly and simply ?? so that I can turn it back on afterwards, and it just works! I look forward to your response, thank you, AureL
something else: if I put a mouse on the PIE, I have a window when I right click, and it says: "shut down". I say I am awesome! after you have asked if you want to turn off, I say yes, the magpie stops! I think I'm awesome too, but what do I do afterwards? because even while waiting a little to disconnect the power, same, the sd card is to be redone to be able to ralummer the PIE with digiview. so I don't understand !? it is a function which makes it possible to stop the programe but not the PIE? and how do i turn off the power without affecting the sd? thank you, this is important, best regards, AureL
What sort of USB cabling did you use between the DJI goggles and the PI? Did you need to use the OTG USB adapter supplied with the V2 Goggles? I tried with a simple USB-A to USB-C cable and wasn't able to get any video output from the PI.
What I noticed on some of my drones - you need to switch off auto temp control on air unit/vista unit to have feed ;). Try this trick. Cons - you need to take off quickly otherwise air unit might overheat ;)
nice comparison. I'm building a pi4 as i watch this

A 2gig P4 will work fine and you can get them for 35 bucks
Cool! I have a bunch of Pi's from playing with Easy Wifi HD. Trying tonight. Great video!
Great, super easy. You can fly with it in angle mode on a quad using pie 3B+.
@sky573 Hi, if the TypeC on the RB pi is used for power, how do you connect the goggles? with an OTG adapter with USB? thanks
I think there's a setup for letting pie handle radio, video , and flight control.
Nice vid! 👍 what about a screen to connect to the raspberry ? Do you have any advice ?
Very good experiment , do you know if is possible try digiview with orange pi or other SBC ??
Sorry brother just know about this one. Using a 10 inch Android tablet is the easiest lol
have you compared digiview and cosmostreamer for the pi? is the quality the same?
I am using the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ but the DigiView does not restart. If you have any information, can you help me?
What bitrate do you used? 25 or 50mbit
Is there any appreciable gain in framerate using a pi4 over a 3? I have a 3B and 4 handy 👌
You might have less latency if you were outside with the quad
Can I do this from my Mac?
looks good have a pi3b lying around is there anyway to output it to iphone also pi zero works for open hd if you try it
cosmostreamer is casting - however I could not make feed fast - so gave up ;(
Is there a noticeable difference between 3B and 4B? I see the 4B 2G is only $35.
It should be a noticeable difference

Make sure it’s a data cable and not just for charging
