      Hey there! I came across this new project and it reminded me of my previous bikes, the Currie Skyline and R Martin LX 1. It's amazing how e-bike technology has evolved over the past decade! The freebeat Morph 2-in-1 eBike seems to have some really outstanding features, like the ability to charge indoors. The 750W motor and 80Nm torque sound impressive, and the front suspension and puncture-resistant tires would guarantee a smooth ride. It's great to see the blend of fitness and technology with the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature. Definitely considering getting one! Keep up the good content!

    I'm not a fan of big tire ( cumbersome) but watching every fat tire you tested lately, now you about to get me hook. But I'm still thinking about Veloric T1 Thunder you tested 2 months ago. The problem is I don't know the foot RPM to maintain 25 miles per hour. But actually I even wanted it to go 28mph. I can only maintain my foot candence from 75 to 90 RPM ride the longest(hours maybe). Any higher RPM or (lower RPM with tons of exertion) I will not last a few minutes for a senior citizen like me. This Heybike Explorer is great plenty of power but weighty. One day I'll find a bike from one of your show. We really enjoyed watching your blog with all your effort. Thnx.

    Great review. Any chance you could do a pedal only test and maybe a rolling resistance test. I understand that most people are only interested in the "powered" specs... but I would like to how the bikes work on pedal assist 0. Thanks

      @TailHappyTV  Год назад +9

      ill start showing this more in the beginning of the testing, I used to show this in some videos but the answer is the same for most bikes. It's horrible riding an ebike with no motor assistance. They're very heavy, especially these fat tire ones that weigh 70+ lbs. It can be done but you'll be going about 3 mph.
      Even the "lighter" ones like the Velotric T1 at just 36lbs feels quite sluggish without any motor assistance, but it can actually be done to some degree. A normal bike without batteries weighs more like 25lbs for reference.

      @@TailHappyTVCan I ask you a stupid question since you've seen like half of all ebikes under the sun? Is motor resistance a thing when you just pedal when you have 0% battery? Will it be an issue? These thoughts feed my range anxiety NGL.

      @sandieguitoadult Год назад +1

      @@ImpreccablePony The resistance comes from the weight of the bike itself. As it is already heavy you won't be concerned about the motor resisting. On a lighter weighted bike? I can't say. However, I don't believe so. I just pedaled around a town in France with a small batttery mounted on the rear. I tested that motor resistance and didn't feel it. Although it was a lighter bike, the battery is heavy compared to a non-electric one. Hence, I would say some light resistance from the weight.

    We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

    • @TailHappyTV
      @TailHappyTV  Год назад +4

      I mean any sort of pedaling I did might have added, possibly an extra mile, you could be over, estimating how much pedaling helps these big fat E bikes. The way I ride heavily relying on throttle, taking off from stops quickly, and not paddling much at all I would say roughly 45 miles. But if you go slower than that and don’t rely on the throttle to get you from 0 to 10 mph you could definitely get a lot more. I know some people say they do like 60 or 70 miles on this size battery.
