- This video compares 8 fat tire electric bikes in the price range of $1,000 to $2,000. All of these ebikes have their own pros and cons, and in this video I'll show you their performance and ride characteristics side by side. At the end of the video I'll leave you with my current opinion on my favorite fat tire ebike out of this line up... but I actually have more electric bike reviews coming soon!

I wouldn't mind seeing another version of this video with some of the more recent budget bikes you have reviewed
Hi there. Love your channel. Do you have any info or experience with the Tesgo brand? They also upgraded the Hummer pro and SST Strength to a higher battery. Just hoping to see some testing before I buy. Keep up good work. Great content on this channel!!
Late to the party here but I would definitely add in The Magicycle bikes at under 2k. You get 52v systems, quality feel, solid adjustability (ability to fine tune pas levels power based not speed based) and they have a good support network. Also Ariel Rider Kepler (52v 1k motor) and obviously the Wired cruiser at 60v! However the Wired are sold out and quite the wait to get one.
Can’t wait to see the “ it’s been sitting in a storage unit for 3 years with a flat battery, will it charge and ride” videos lol
You’ll only have to wait 3 more years, mark it on your calendar 😜

Hi thanks so much for all the reviews , so is there a favorite for a commuter bike.? NCM Milano +. Local bike shop has it nice bike however it has a cadence pedal. Trying to find an E bike that is in a B good for regular commuting, as well as all-around fun. Thanks for your time.
Awesome video thanks
Great video. Thank you
Any suggestions? I need 3 bikes for our family. I have two already, a EUY S4 26ah, and Ridstar 21ah. What should be a third? The EUY was $1450 delivered and Ridstar $1,050. Any suggestions for my third bike? Needs to have same capabilities as other two, and is more for playing around on slightly hilly gravel roads and our level fields. Thanks!
Have you any opinions on the 750 watt Luckeep folding on Amazon?
Can you replace the thumb throttles with an aftermarket twist throttle?
Great info, thanks. One thing though: most bikes have adjustable settings that allow you to adjust the PA lag. I personally like a longer pedal assist lag. You can always hit the thumb throttle for instant power.
Great tip!
was this the aventon adventure 1 or 2.....just curious. love this review and iim considering the hovsco, aventon and hey bike.....considering aventon since i know a couple shops in my area support it....where as the other two would be virtually unknown...in my area.
Aventon 1 in this video
Your reviews r the best. Has Velotric Nomad integrated the battery brake light yet? The website isn't clear. I see a light on the rear fender but no description of a brake light
Thanks, I’ve heard it is and just got two of there new models that aren’t announced yet that have integrated tail light now
Thank you for your videos - my wife and I are getting ready for retirement and looking to buy our first e-bikes! My wife is likely going to end up with the Aventon Level 2, but I'm a bit undecided - I'm thinking the Hovsco Hovalpha, but would want a cruiser-ish handlebar. I really want the 750w, torque assist, hydraulic brake, and a bit larger battery. Am I missing any other options to consider?
Can always swap out handlebars
Kind of confusing because he said the Hovapha was better than the Aventon in the review video ?
How doing a review on the Lectric XP 3.0
I'm thinking about getting a ebike sometime next year so i can get around a little quicker
Nice thanks
Wow! If you miss your storage unit payments and I see your unit on tv in that storage wars program, that would be a good episode. 👍 Good video
😂 thanks man! That would make an epic episode, maybe I should turn auto pay off

I can't decide between the Tesgo STT, Vitilan I7 Pro and the Heybike Tyson. I'm going to use it on the street, a little off-road and on the beach. I'm in Florida (mostly flat except for bridges) so good customer service is important. What do u recommend? TIA
Out of those companies the only one I have experience with is HeyBike and they were great. It looks like you’re in the market for a folding that tire E bike with full suspension, did you see my review on the Engwe folding?
ruclips.net/video/NdfglwzhG24/видео.html
It was pretty legit, I also reviewed the Gosen Q7 on this channel which had dual batteries on a similar frame
@@TailHappyTV thanks. I'm looking for a bike with better uphill power. The engwe and gosen are not as powerful and heavier. Thanks
Surprised that the Magicycle Cruiser Pro or Ocelot Pro weren't included.
Any thoughts on why?
They didn't cut a check I'm guessing
Quality of customer service is an important parameter, it is not uncommon for ebike parts to fail, many 'big brands' will never fix the problems even under warranty
Great vid , I have a 30KM drive each day, I'm worried about the battery's life span , I need to know if it can at least withstand that 30KM each day for 2 years ? Thanks
Could with current chemistries used, if the combo gives you a bit more than two full days of use per charge. They typically last between 350 and 500 “full” cycles. Your use case would fall within the low end of that range, assuming you charge after two round-trip commutes. You’d get more cycles if you kept the battery between 20 and 80% of full charge, so take your charger to work if you want to do that.
Can’t wait for LFP or solid state chemistries to come to e-bikes so we don’t have to fuss with that. 2500-5000 cycles, can use full capacity with minimal impact on cycle lifetime. Probably outlast the bike though!
@@chow-chihuang4903thanks a lot for the info i appreciate it man. I guess I'll buy it.
Onde compro garupa pra Heybike por gentilesa
Regarding the aventon being one of your favorites, is the delayed throttle not that big of a deal? Seems like a pretty big flaw and only bike in bunch that has delay... thoughts?
I agree with you, it’s not my favorite for that reason. I’m working on a review if a copy cat of the Aventon that not only solves the delay problem, but also has a larger battery and better brakes for an even cheaper price. Review will be posted soon.
@@TailHappyTVHow do you think about the aventure 2?
The Aventon Aventure 2 now has a torque sensor and larger battery...and it's sold at my local bike shop.
I didn’t know it had a bigger battery, I though it was the same size in the new version
@@TailHappyTV Aventon's mileage estimate for the Aventure has gone from 45 miles under optimal conditions to 60.
Though the website does show the same battery size. Maybe increased because of the torque sensor?
Thank you for your honest review of our Hovsco e-bikes! We are super happy to be part of your best e-bikes under $2,000! We were wondering if we could repurpose some parts of your video? 😇
🤙 likely yes, drop me an email with what you have in mind
@@TailHappyTV Thank you for your response! We were planning on using the part where you talk about Hovsco. Would that be okay for us to use?
@@hovsco yes 👍
@@TailHappyTV You are great, thank you!
Any E-Bikes that have 2 batteries a storage basket and also have peddles? Let me know if there are any.
Would you say WIRED FREEDOM beats all these bike in all categories?
A whole lane for bikers but no, because you own the road!!🤪🤪
👌
I’d like to get some more of your bikes on the channel soon!

Which one is best for door dash and uber
a big battery and low power (or use low power anyway) so you can get big range!
@@TailHappyTV am thinking of et cycle t1000
not a bad choice,
you might want to also consider this monster battery ebike: aniioki.com/collections/ebike/products/aniioki-aq177-pro-max-electric-bike
I have not been on it yet but it looks like a good value for battery, comfort, and door dashing might not be great for pedaling?
If you're looking at the ET you might want to checkout my troxus review too, its similar specs, big 20ah battery and more pedal friendly then aniioki

I think for a poor man as myself. The Heybike is the best
Red lights, no problems?
6'5"? Not an average person as far as ergonomics are concerned 😂 You need a budget friendly Ariel Rider Kepler 👍
I’d love to get one on the channel
This is budget breaking ebikes. This is mid to high end price range.
Thank - you . ( 2023 / Apr / 11 )
Did you sell us out I didn't see Aniioki or eAhora on the list? They are all under $2000. Before I thought you where honest now I am beginning the wonder?

Please be more careful out there. I noticed on the Hovsco review you ran a red light and you often run stop signs. For both safety purposes and to avoid getting ticketed you should try to follow the rules of the road as much as possible.
Good point, I’ve been cleaning it up 😆

To be onist that's why there cheap no good come on for the prise of anyone of these bike I can buy a kit with good battery more power better range plus I choose what frame to ues or one I'm using. I no it's the law regarding speed I still say there no good sorry
Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!
