This is the best ogbono soup recipe, just try it out and you would see the difference if you have not been making ogbono soup this way. I’m commenting this because it’s my mum’s recipe too and her ogbono soup taste the best. Thank you Ify’s kitchen 🥰
I tried this recipe and it is on point. So so delicious. Please keep sharing your recipes they are amazing. I have tried some of them and love the outcome 💕
In the Bahamas we do not eat slimey okra. We cook until the slime is gone . I CNT imagine eating this dish but it's always great to learn about other people's culture 😉 nice video 😊☺️
Hi my darling, I love your show! 🥰 I have only made one or two African dishes. Can you answer just a few questions for me please. 1. Are the snails bought alive from the shop? 2. How do you know you're getting a good dried fish; that your not getting fish from two years ago? 😳 😅 🤣 3. How do I get that beautiful figure you have? Can I buy it! Because I know I'm not going to get it from the Ogbono & Okra Soup! 😳😅🤣
Hi Ify. The name & the face seems familiar. St. Annes Hostel in University of Ibadan. If you are the one, I have always admired your personality. Calm, intelligent, and well-dressed.
This is how I cook my ogbono but u got it wrong u shouldn't have add okro when u have added bitter leaf if u are cooking ogbono with bitter leaf no okro it will give it bitter nice taste
Please you have to put a cap to fold your artificial hair ,to protect it from dropping. Kitchen has it procedures because I worked in a processing industry and hair even the beard ate well protected. No matter how the food can be cooked ,we must put I ur health hazard first.
You were supposed to wash the dried fish with warm water and a pinch of salt, and alone de-bone the fish, incase little you children want to eat from the soup
This lady you have helped me alot about cooking, if no be you, I for don comot for husband house.. God bless you Sis 🙏🏽💯

It has to be slimy, in other to swallow (it can't be chewed) the accompaniment.
All the okro nutrient is gone when cooked for too long
@@deeron1554 it's a culture thing. We do not eat slimey okra
@@deeron1554 I chew all my food. So yes, I chew slimy okra
Aunty Ify you should have steamed the fish early like you did for the meat and snails

I want to cook this soup but I'm not sure what leaves are best for this type of soup
Leaves are optional. I use ugwu. Some cultures don't use leaves - like the Binis
Yummy as always 😍…. Please what’s the best brand of Gas cooker with loud flames 🔥 for a big family to buy Nne?
