It’s funny how a burst rate of 4.5ps is now a disadvantage for some reason. For most people it’s more than enough and as a professional only a few years ago it was the best you could get. With the regard not using the camera for vlogging , I’d disagree. Stick a 20mm viltrox on it and it’s more than fine again for most people. Loving the z5. Great video other wise

As a hybrid camera, the Nikon Z 5 is an extremely unsuccessful camera, namely in terms of video capabilities.
If we switch to full frame, then it makes sense to consider the Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 II, everything is in order with the photo and the video is recorded as it should.

@@mattisulanto Hello, I watched everything to the end. And I don’t see any difference in photographs taken on the street in good lighting between a full-frame sensor and micro 4/3. except that the aspect ratio differs in one case 3:2, and in the other 4:3

When my GX85 was stolen, i had to make the decision to stay or leave with m43. With Panasonic seemingly moving to full frame cameras, and OM seeming to focus on high end cameras, I decided to get a Z7, While the system is not as compact overall, the small primes are quite good and affordable, and the ability to adapt to so many different lens types makes it a winner for me. The 40mm and 24-70 f/4 make a great, fairly compact travel setup with all of the full frame benefits.

It costs more used than a new M10 mk 4 dual lens kit. An entry level camera is £500-600 like Canon Digital Rebel series. Get yourself the M10 mk 4 dual lens kit and buy a used fast prime like the Leica 25mm f1.4 or m.Zuiko 40mm f1.4 and you'll run rings around the Nikon setup, by the time you add in a lens for the Nikon...You can chuck in the 9-18mm or a macro...

About 1yr ago, I bought an Olympus Pen F and 17mm/1.8 lens. Very capable combo. But to be honest, I always thought I was not able to squeeze the last 5% out of it, because of the menu system. Maybe I am not genius enough to handle two different camera systems simultaneously. 😢😢😢

To be honest Robin, from your pictures I didn’t feel much difference between a full-frame camera. and micro 4/3.
Your shooting style and photo processing has more influence here than the size of the matrix on the street, where there is a lot of light.
According to Sony, smartphones will be the ones that will shoot better than DSLRs and mirrorless cameras in a couple of years.
Please watch the whole video, it's worth it because this is April fools😀 Regarding the smartphone image quality and what Sony says. Already back in 2012, if I remember correctly, Nokia claimed something similar when their 808 Pureview came out😀

why can one see the aperture blades of the 40 mm lens?
i think its the result of how the lens is constructed. i can see aperture blades on my 18-45mm because its tiny.

Beside the joke, I think switching systems is overrated. No camera system is perfect, so chances are if you are unhappy with one system, sooner or later you will be unhappy with the new system as well.

This video and Robin's video on his channel have sold me on the Nikon Z 5. 😂 It's the full frame twin of my E-M5 Mk II.
Never enjoyed using Sony myself. Using a camera is a visceral experience and part of the joy of photography. At least that is my experience . I enjoyed canon, Nikon, Fuji and Olympus , but Sony as impressive as they might be just left me feeling cold
We ALL KNOW that Canon is the true king......

You had me at "Sony must go" 😂....ok but seriously though: It's amazing how little importance people put on usability and ergonomics. You can't even read video off the SD card on Sony.... you've got to connect it to a PC via cable with the phone switched on 🤦♂️ everything about the UX sucks
