Door handle was a little stiff after anything that could cause this, could it bet that the metal rod is bent? Cheers for the video tho misses is chuffed
What parts did you use? Was it eBay or genuine parts ? Cos some of the eBay parts can be a little off and feel a bit rougher if that makes sense, I’m sure it will loosen up after a few uses 👍
@MrAutoFixer I'm sorry, what do you mean plug it in? After commenting on here, I turned the engine over and tried the central locking again, the driver door and boot locks but not the passenger. I've checked the rod is in place and everything looks right however it still won't lock 🙈
I just replaced my door handle and encountered the same thing. What I missed when putting it back together is the white clip on the cable (next to the rod for the inside handle) that needs to clip into the grove of the inside door panel (next to where the rod slots in). After that it was locking just fine
PLEASE HELP. I replaced it all the way and it opens from the inside just fine, but it seems the lock/unlock no longer engages so I can’t open it from the outside. What did I miss?

I have just followed all these steps, it opens and closes both from inside and out but now my central locking/manual locking wont work 😭

@charlottekearns5361 the door lock you replace should have a electrical connection if you have central locking for it to work?

Hey 👋 if you have replaced the handle, the only thing connecting it the the locking mechanism is that link rod so make sure that is on correctly 👍
