I have a similar process, CBN 180, 400, 600, somtimes 1000 ... Then, at 1750 rpm - RockHard wool wheel with diamond spray to deroot on guided Tormek table supports (I.E. Knife Grinders Australia RIP Vadim), and to polish, I use 1750 rpm - leather wheel with white rouge.
I'm right about 5 minutes start to finish. I have found this to the most efficient and predictable compared to belts. I still use belts but only for major repair work or profiling. Keep the videos coming. Great job Paul !

The only downside is dust and the cleanup of dust.

@ALXSHARPEN I totally get it it. For me, I would not be doing the level of knives you are, haha. So cost wise, it is easier to just use a tormek with the water.

Have you tried running both CBN wheels on one Tormek using the shaft adapter from the tapered honing wheels?

What Tormek part would that be to run 2 side by side?

Hi Ryan! I was planning on running two CBN wheels. I have the Slipakniven adapters(Schleif-junkies), as well as the Tormek honing wheel adapter(which needs a couple washers). The problem I'm encountering is too much run-out, from either adapter. Not as significant for the honing wheels.....but not acceptable for any grinding wheel. So I've added another T8 custom to my assembly line.
