The answer is fairly simple: Make a decent mix.This strategy eliminates most of the problems caused by shitty mixing (and we're talking about extremely shitty mixing here).
He's an impressive singer, but the "scream-singing" is grating on the ears and needs to be a little more singing and make it more of a rock vocal instead of an "alternative" vocal. More pleasing to the ears and would still be badass. Know what I mean?
