    Oh, his "flying to the sky" or "touching the sky" ... How many times has this crazy person Jon (I was a mega fan in the past...) had that in his lyrics? ...A hundred times? Or more? ...

    Astonishingly ,i find it acceptable to my ears and fit for my car's radio now and then, but totally agree, it is not the bonjovi before crush and these days in 1995. How and how far more ? Not willing to bash about shanks but true many fans are fed up with his recipe. As he doesnt leave much space for the creativity of the band members.

    Of course the song is simple, but I think when played with a raw garage sound it can be really fun in all its simplicity. What destroys this song is this soft-spoken, harmless radio-pop sound. John Shanks is truly cruel. Bon Jovi is a rock band... and not the new kids on the block!
    On the other hand, it seems to be what JBJ really wants. He knows what he's getting from Shanks and he still always lets him work on the songs.

    They should all get together Jon, Richie , David , Tico , David and Hugh and try to produce something of the same nerve as the content of crossroads , like : Never say goodbye , Someday i'll be saturday night , ballads , and alternative rock songs , this was the bonjovi , i grew to love . Will they be able to do something of the same caliber again one day ? 🤔

      I appreciate your thoughts and your time.
      But what I guess I want is for acts in their sixties and seventies to admit that they need to hang it up, or at least stop charging people over $200 a seat to hear them croak for a couple of hours at best. That didn't used to be too much to expect.

    You are not going to get stuff from the 90s or 80s. The band puts out what Jon can do in his 60s. Hell he is not 20 anymore. Besides every album he puts out its like he understood what I am going through in my life.

  • @whenrosesfadeaway

    About the song because we can , Ironically, the song's intent lyrically was to tell people to face adversity, but unfortunately , one band member could not , and then tico needed urgent surgery and then even david had to be replaced temporarily, it happened 🤔 and this New Song legendary maybe the Wo O Wo ah , is about sending the band in outer space like in the clip ,like they are surfing around the globe 🤔 ,the Wo o ah is about placing them back on the map, saying they are still here , lets not forget that Bonjovi's music & choruses gets us with hooks 🤔 . Yup , John Shanks has become a signature sound for BONJOVI . We would all prefer Bruce fairbain(rip), Bob rock , luke ebin, george karakoglou(Talking in your sleep BONGIOVI powerstation years ) or any other . The album that has the song because we can is the album i did not care to look for or buy. But am still curious to discover the other songs on this new album BONJOVI FOREVER .

    My God, this is like Groundhog Day.... In terms of creativity, BJ delivered all they could do till early 2000's, after that, Jon parked in total comfort zone, continued delivering flat and repetitive albums and were touring like crazy till he ruined his voice. Richie jumped away on time knowing Jon's vocal issues would turn really bad.
    This is no longer Bon Jovi since 2010, it's only a retired Jon making effortless albums for fun and for their die hard fan base as if he played only for close friends and relatives that would praise him even if he singed polka. The other 95% have been paying to see him sing their big hits between the fillers, big bussiness after all.

    It's well known Jon is writer of chanting stadium choruses but it's true with Sharks feels they do it too much. I am curious to hear the rest of the album. Phil X said he was happy guitars had a more upfront part in this album and I really hope it does.

      If he meant enough four-chord guitar accompaniments, then "thank you very much"... :D But honestly - I was a rock fan of Bon Jovi from 2001 (I was 14 years old then) until 2013... The 2013 album was so disappointing (maybe with three exceptions - three songs) that I "switched" to Prince and his inexhaustible well of music... Of course I still adore Bon Jovi from 1986 to 2007, but I can't accept the decline of Jon... And honestly - I don't even listen to the new album. I can't stand his voice anymore... and those sh*t tunes already...

The 2020 album was where I couldn’t take this repetitive sound anymore. What is Phil X even there for? Whatever shit he’s playing they could have Jon play that boring repetitive nonsense. • @MarekKE-ei6ec
      @MarekKE-ei6ec 7 месяцев назад

      Yes, Jon's "Destination Anywhere" album is about 10x worse than Richie's "Undiscovered Soul" album. On the other hand, I like Jon's first solo (Young Guns) more than Richie's "Stranger In This Town"... Mainly because of the sound. The sound in "SITT" sounds too "far away" and there is too much of the effect of some big hall... In addition, Jon performs an incredible vocal performance on his solo debut... Probably the best of all the albums...
