This is such a wholesome channel and J&K are such kind people, so it makes me really angry to see so many racist comments posted here regarding the sticker people. Yes the sticker guy was rude, but that doesn't mean we all can become bigots in the comment section. Be better.

I made this very comment last time. Jeff & Kristen need to let management know when they will be there and management needs to be there as well. There’s no excuse that J & K have to put up with this crap.

The manager should put the stickers on the windows for each allowed vehicle, and not just hand out the stickers.
That's what I said some videos back.
I stated the same thing. When living in an apartment in Florida thats how it was handled they came out and put the sticker on the back window, same spot on every vehicle. Trust me if the vehicle had no sticker it was towed. Had a loaner from car dealer and guess what, it was towed.

The apartment manager is the one causing the communication problems. I would direct every angry person to the manager and just take the vehicle without the back-and-forth nonsense.
It is not a communicationmproblem. The residents know EXACTLY what they are supposed to do with the stickers but are trying to cheat the system by letting someone else use the sticker bacause they feel that as a resident, they cannot be towed
@T-J-C If the residents know but keep doing it anyway, it's a communication problem because the consequences of their actions have not been effectively communicated, be it in writing, a Red Tag pasted on the vehicle that clearly defines a time frame to comply, voice mail, or in-person. It is absolutely NOT the responsibility of Everything Auto to do the manager's work and put up with the nonsense. In the Towing business, the job is to hook it and book it.
@@acsberean4092 no, it's an a$$hole problem. They understand what they are supposed to do, so the manager has communicated adequately. Their refusal to comply is not because of the managements inability to communicate clearly. They know no sticker means a tow, which is why the give it to visitors, becaus ethey think they can talk their way out of a tow. Then they throw a tantrum when they cannot.
These people aren’t really visitors the are living there but aren’t on the lease so they are taking more spaces than they are allowed.

You need to notify the management of the tenants that pull this crap and have the manager non-renew their leases or evict them if they are behind in rent.
Yup. They can go find somewhere else to live that has plenty of parking. When I used to live in apartments I searched for ones that had plenty of parking so I wouldn't run into conflicts or struggling to find a parking spot.

@@Bryan-Hensley It's not discrimination to evict tenants that are breaking the rules (sharing parking stickers instead of attaching them permanently to the windshield) or non-renewing a lease at the end of the current lease. Acting in a threatening manner or kicking employee or contractor's items would also seem like a violation of the lease. If the daughter doesn't live there and is acting in such a manner, the management could also trespass her so she could be arrested for coming onto the property.
She can add an addendum to the lease that it’s grounds for eviction to be abusive to the tow folks. I would insist on it.
The problem is that each of these apartments has 15 head staying there. 3/4 cars per apartment won't fly!

This is a decades-old issue. The last apt complex I lived in (25yrs ago) we had the same problem in every way. 15 people in a 1bdrm, 4/5 vehicles taking up way too many spaces. Each unit had had 2spaces reserved.

We had that problem in the NJ town I used to live in. 3 bedrooms, 12 related family members living there.
At what point did they say there are 10 people living in their house? Better they arent sleeping with the cousins and inbreeding.
The landlord needs to issue new... NUMBERED parking stickers, attach them his/herself to each cars, and record the car's make/model and license, and give Jeff a copy of the approved vehicles. Otherwise the next step these illegal parkers are going to do is make fake photocopies of the stickers.
It's a lot of work. Serialized stickers cost a little more, but should do the job. I'd just match it to a license plate, never mind the rest. Lots of people get new cars and keeping track of that can be a hassle, but a lot of people transfer their old plates (at least in my state) because that doesn't require going in person to the MVC and wasting half a day of your life to get new ones. Shiny new car, busted old plates is common to see. 😅
People are generally too lazy to share plates the same way as the sticker.
When I lived in apt complexes, it was required that you provided your vehicle make, model, plate # and VIN. Security had any vehicle not on tenant list or who didn't have a guest pass towed.

They need numbered, assigned parking spots to match the numbered stickers. That's how they manage it where my sister in law lives. And they have several visitor spots, but they check those regularly.

This apartment complex is a gold mine for content and it will continue to be until the apartment manager sets clear rules for where the sticker needs to be placed and states that if you have it stuck somewhere else then you can still be towed.
I’m sure the manager has done just that, they aren’t following the rules because they have too many people living in one unit and they know it.

I don’t know about TN but in MO you likely would have been arrested yourself for theft because you’re required by law to give them the opportunity to pay onsite and then you took it after they did. You throwing the cash back just means you gave it back to them. That doesn’t mean the transaction was reverted.

The apartment complex should assign parking spaces that are numbered. That would solve the entire parking problem for management. Let the tenants deal with the inconsiderate parkers.
My thoughts as well. We did that at a condo I lived in, and visitors staying overnight had to have a visitor pass.
Wouldn't work. My reserved spot was taken when I worked late at night. Luckily the property manager was smart. He gave me a parking sticker and told me to place it on that guy's windshield next time he parks in my spot. 😅

You know thats not in Everything Auto's spirit though. They are not out to target people. They are just methodically doing their job.
I would send this video to the apartment manager to keep them in the loop about what is going on. It would be nice if they or a rep could be there for some of these tows. But I also think that the property owner needs to start looking at the leases and see who it is following the rules and who is not in regard to the occupants. If I remember correctly one of the possible issues mentioned was that one person signs the lease and says it's just them and then has people move in with them.

For the stickers to work, you have to have get guest parking (or a visitor pass with an expiration date) or parking on the road. You’ll constantly have problems if you don’t.
You get problems when a single person or a couple rent the unit, and 5 more live in it paying the original renter money to stay.

i used to live in Manayunk PA (very steep hilly area) and ran a business from my home where I would need to receive regular shipments of palettes of glassware and coffee mugs. My street was about a 30-35 degree angle and very narrow. God bless my UPS driver during that time. Never under appreciate delivery truck drivers!

I would require the manager have someone there from the company to take the abuse. Maybe next time you should contact the local ICE office to have them out there with you to be sure there is no problems.

It should not be up to Jeff and Kristen to explain these rules or catch any heat. In fact, if tenants abuse the tow employees, they should be put on notice that these actions could get them evicted. I often worry about Jeff and Kristen's safety when things like this come up.
I wouldn't worry about their safety too much. Most operators I know who work in TN (and KY, for that matter), conceal carry for just that reason. Very low crime in both states (except in the blue cities) for the most part because MANY people carry.

These roads here in Appalachia will teach you how to drive. I have been in Southern Loosiana, where there are no shoulder and deep water ditches. Worse than here.
It makes me happy to see Big Red on the job with that box truck (with the load of windows). It was quite thoughtful of you, Jeff, to offer to follow them on that second attempt at that steep driveway. I didn't fully appreciate just how steep that driveway is until you drove by it that second time and Kendra inserted the red arrow to show where the cabin is at the very top of the hill.

it's not a parking problem at the apartments it's a overcrowding problem. best thing it to give each apartment a spot for what bedrooms it has that what the ones that not over abusing the parking has their spots and can call if someone takes their spots.

Our complex has no parking for visitors at all. They must find a place on the street OR what I do is have them park in the big shopping center and then go pick them up. Pitiful🤷🏻♀️ Parking is a premium thing in a lot of cities, it’s just the way it is.

A friend who works at an apartment complex had trouble with people sharing stickers. Then the tow company moved to a database with make/model/plate. If something doesn't match, it gets towed.
Jeff, you need some cameras with night vision pointing at the gate for better nighttime recording.
