I asked a friend who happens to be from India. "Why do you constantly haggle on cost ?" He said that is how it works in India 😂 Guess what we aren't in India, Geezzz ! He said he learned that real quick when he moved to U.S. 😂😂😂
A lot places in the world will still haggle pricing. The US is quite firm on price, they even tell you how much to tip them. Dynamic pricing coming to US stores is gonna rub a lot of people the wrong way.
@@DaleRojoDecaf You can still haggle in the US too. I've haggled on all kinds of things from jewelry to a grandfather clock. The difference is in India they haggle on services after they are provided, and they often barter as well. They also rapid fire nonsense in a circle trying to get a discount.

I found it funny that he offered $10, then $75 at the pickup. Then gets to the lot trying to only pay $150 because he doesn’t have cash. And yet when you never gave in they miraculously had $300 cash! Kept saying they were students, if they had paid for parking, they would still have nearly $300 !!! Pay to park!!!😂

AND they're on vacation. smh. But I have a friend who legit probably couldn't afford a impound fee if the family car got impounded for not paying to park. His family saves just enough to get to and from their destination and for the hotel and that's about it. They might have enough for one or two fun things to do but that's it. I honestly don't get it. They do this twice a year for different places, I would think it'd make more sense to do one vacation a year or one every other year and be able to afford to have fun but they don't see it that way.
He went to Vegas with a different group of friends and went to one show and went to the casino once and spent the rest of the week in the hotel and walking the strip.

I actually too a class when I was a firefighter that was called Non Destructive Extraction. We called it gone in 60 Seconds. We had bags and slim jims. That was about it. And being in 93 it was kind of fun for us. We would train in junk yards. Was amazing what you could do with a coat hanger and a screwdriver. Love your channel btw. I had a police officer one time who pulled a woman over for speeding 15 mi over the speed limit. She asks, "Well, what about all these other cars? They were passing me!"
The officer asked the woman, "Mam, did you ever go fishing?" She answered, "Yes." The police officer asked her another question. "Did you ever catch them all?" "I have you right now, and I'll work on the others later."

THIS! And THEN they ask for a discount? THE AUDACITY! If you want to 'try' for a discount the way to go about it is not to tell me you called the police on my business practices.
Early on Kristen did an incredibly smart job of not fostering the continuation of the illegal parkers' arguments about whether they could park in that particular location by abruptly announcing that the drop fee would be $150. If the vehicle had not been blocking the road and if their friends had hurried up with the cash, this might have been resolved right there. Unfortunately, by the time these guys got a ride to the EA lot, they were ready to renew all of their arguments. Jeff and Kristen, you did a great job holding your own in a professional manner. About the time Jeff said if he had to keep standing there arguing the price should be going up, I had to stop the video momentarily just to let my blood pressure drop some.

I'm a tow truck operator in the Jackson Mississippi area. I absolutely love your videos. I've been addicted the past few days binge watching. Its great seeing others dealing with the stuff I do daily and still being professional towards them. I stay calm and professional because it aggravates them more when they see it doesn't bug you

In 1976 i was stationed in Turkey they told us if you get into an accident you were 50% at fault because if you hadn't been their their wouldn't have been an accident. Even if they hit you from behind.

@@barrydano1701 That wouldn't put power in the system, it would just spin the starter if it even did that, it would likely short a fuse first.
What they should have done is apply lots of duct tape to a window and make a handle to pull down on a window till it could get an arm in and unlock it.
@@jimmanis6717 chances are it would have power windows and that wouldn't work.
Unless ford has changed their starters the power wire from the battery to the starter does not connect directly to the celinoid so anything that doesn't feed through the ignition would be powered, including the power locks. I could be wrong, I haven't driven tow truck in 34 years and haven't done mechanic work except on my own vehicles in 8 years.
They were told cash then did the “can I use a card routine.” Then had the cash on them anyway. That would’ve been a charge back for sure. Glad you stood firm as always! Especially not blocking the road any longer or stopping in the intersection when they flagged you down. Seemed like they couldn’t understand how dangerous that is.

It's creepy how they try to negotiate. Three teenagers from India tried to negotiate the cost of medication when I was a pharmacy tech and alone that day. They made me so uncomfortable.

If a vehicle is dead and won’t open without power an option could be to get under the vehicle to connect a jump pack to the positive cable on the starter. Most vehicles will have a starter accessible from the bottom. That positive cable on the starter goes directly to the battery.
That lockout is exactly why I love the older cars they are much easier to get into when you are locked out of your vehicle.
You should have a sign on your gate that says “Argument rates: $10/minute”.
Physical arguments are $100 a minute….but I’ll only need 3 seconds….

Hi from Canada. I do my fair share of illegal parks, when it's time for pick up I last about 30 seconds of listening to why, what and the price is to high then shut the gate and walk away.. That usually keeps the conversation to a minimum.
