just made this for my quarantine dinner for my family. Everyone loved it. A couple edits I made, I didn't add the green pepper (didn't have it) and I squeezed lime in at the end. Was delicious!
Hello just wondering how many did you serve when making this i want to try it for my family of 6 but not sure if itll be enough and i can't see how many it serves anywhere thanks
Jake O'Donnell just saw this. I would double it for 6, I cooked for 3 and had some leftovers, but this is def not enough for 6. Hope you make it and enjoy.
Just made this an hour ago and my rarely used mortar and pestle became useful for the pastes.. I didn’t have the mustard seeds and coriander powder and coriander but it still turned out pretty good and I was afraid my chicken breast would dry out, it was juicy and tender.. and whoever made a comment about putting lemon at the end, thanks!
Made this today. Everyone loved it. Served over basmati rice. Mmmmmm! Thanks! One thing, you may want to substitute red chili powder with paprika, in case you don't like spicy.
This was a quick and easy dish! Very tasty. I added a little sugar and lime juice to balance it out and it was very tasty. Nice one to have on hand when you dont feel like grinding the masala paste. I used chicken breast this time, but next time will use boneless thigh. Total prep time is really not more than 5 minutes and cooking time is 30 minutes. I cooked it and left it to rest for an hour before reheating and serving. Delicious and the chicken was tender even though breast meat can get tough if not cooked just right. Thank you!
I made this dish tonight for dinner and the flavours were awesome. Like other comments below I had to skip a few ingredients as I didn’t have them but overall the flavours and quality were excellent.
An absolute love , prepared this curry many times , everyone loves it … I extract fresh coconut milk and the flavour is so so awesome. Thank you for the recipe
We're absolutely thrilled to hear that you loved our curry chicken recipe! Thank you for the wonderful feedback, and we're so happy you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for more amazing recipes!
Could you please make recipe video using chicken breast please. Many thanks in advance. Love your recipes. Amazing everytime. Much love and best wishes.
I'm making Haitian curry chicken for the first time and I've been watching RUclips videos trying to learn how......let's just say.....I've been yelling at the screen A LOT!!!🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😂😂😂😂😂😂 So thank you sooooooooooo much for this video. It shows me the method I need to accomplish the dish I want. The ingredients may be a bit different, but the ending results will be similar. This also looks yummy........I'll have to look up some more of your recipes.😉👍🏽
v e r a I put a little bit of Jamaican Scotch bonnet pepper in there with 2 different types of curry Indian and hot curry and put just a quarter cup of buttermilk in it. I hope you enjoy when you make it
Didn't have chilis so just used some cayenne. Didn't have fresh cilantro but added a can of diced tomatoes and a can of chick peas. This was a big hit over a little basmati rice.
I made this and made a couple of small mistakes (too much coconut milk and forgot to add the cilantro). Still, it turned out great! I even threw some shrimp in there just because! Mind you this was my first time ever making something like this. I made one little change that might help others out. I didn't have Cardamom pods but I did have it in powder form. I used about 1/2 tsp.
Hi there! Amazing recipe! Thanks so much my hubby loved it! I wanted to clarify that in ur comments description u put coriander 3-4 tbsp but in the video u just put 1 tspn can u pls advise what is correct?
Just made this with a few edits. Instead of plain water I added water with half a veg stock cube. I didn’t have the green chilli paste or mustard seeds either and only used half the coconut milk but it was still very good. Didn’t come out looking as silky as this but the taste I couldn’t argue with. Might try it wilt tofu and make it vegan. Thanks for the recipe.
I just realised we ran out of onions but I’ll be sure to make this when we have some again 😭 just gonna sub for my vegan chicken stuff. If it turns out bad that’s because of me not you. I’ll keep you updated
I had a Kondapur Chicken Curry dish from an Indian restaurant 4 days ago and I CAN NOT stop thinking about the dish 😭 I’ve been watching all kinds curry recipes so if anyone knows is this made the same way or even remotely similar??
I made this for a last minute dinner party! 😋😋😋 it was very quick and yummy. As I had vegetarian people attending the wedding I substituted the chicken for hard boiled egg. Thank you for this easy yet tasty recipe!
I made this last evening and it was very good, I will definitely make it again. I added 1 red bell pepper (added it after sauteeing the onions a bit), I also didn't have all the spices like the masala, but a tbsp of curry was enough. 2 remarks: it's too spicy lol 🥵 if you're not indian maybe you should go easy on the chilis and peppers 🌶️ Second, the squeeze of lemon tip from the comments gave the dish a nice kick l🍋😌
I leave out the dry chili and do as you did , go bell pepper , I leave out the chili paste , I use a lighter dose of the Kashmiri and this leaves it all pretty manageable for spice . I make a curry rice with this which has JALAPENO and chili pepper flakes so , no more spice is needed but ALSO in the curry chicken , I add things like cane sugar and shredded coconut flakes to sweeten it up , feel free to get a bit nutty and even toss in some honey and cinnamon vs the cane sugar , will add a nice sweet finish on the kashmiri which can get a bit spicy for someone who's not eating peppers or spice a lot .
No, because the curry cube may be for the wrong type of curry. If you are not adventurous at least try to find Garam Massala powder to use as a curry powder (or cube)
What is Green Chili Paste? Is it just regular hot green chili pepper? Also, what is red chilli powder? Is it Kashmiri chili or red hot chili peppers powder?
My dad made this today, and it was DELICIOUS but STUPIDLY spicy. Like I eat Thai food but this was on the high end of spicy. My dads gonna halve the red pepper and chilis next time.

Yes, I was thinking to serve it over basmati rice as well.
Yeah I swapped red chili powder for paprika and added just a bit of chili flakes
Guys trust me....this is legit. My only recommendation if u love spices, just add everything of more. Cause that’s what I did and still awesome
I started living alone this year and this is by far the best dish I’ve made.
Yk, living alone is infinitely pleasurable when you also enjoy your own cooking. Nothing like it.
I've been away from home for a long time and making this brought back so many memories, thank you!
This was a quick and easy dish! Very tasty. I added a little sugar and lime juice to balance it out and it was very tasty.

Yh it is a bit heavy so the lime juice can really help lift it up a little
I just made this and I am eating it right now. SO GOOD!!!!!!
The first chicken dish I made, and still my favourite recipe. Thanks for making sure I could survive the lockdown!

Made this curry two weeks ago and that was my first ever curry made by myself!
That's wonderful to hear! We're so glad you chose our recipe for your first curry. How did it turn out? 😊
That's a lot of spices that I don't have lol
go to an Indian store near your house, you can find everything there.
There is no indian store in my city :(
Just buy curry powder at Walmart and treat that as all of the spices..
white person alert lol
the regular stores sell this stuff btw just look at more than the salt and pepper on the spice aisles
Ar S thats wat I thought too lmao😂
Made it today and it’s really delicious
Just made this with Tofu and it’s delicious!
I make this curry at least once every two weeks, it’s that good

Missy did you find the recipe you wanted? Let me know if not I can share it :)
I don't know about y'all, but eye spy with my lil' eye, a cinnamon stick along with the first splash of spices in the wok.
Secret ingredient? :)
I made this for a last minute dinner party! 😋😋😋 it was very quick and yummy. As I had vegetarian people attending the wedding I substituted the chicken for hard boiled egg.

I made this last evening and it was very good, I will definitely make it again. I added 1 red bell pepper (added it after sauteeing the onions a bit), I also didn't have all the spices like the masala, but a tbsp of curry was enough.

it's too spicy lol 🥵 if you're not indian maybe you should go easy on the chilis and peppers 🌶️

Delicious 😋
Very Good! Thank you!! )
Woww i love it love it lovevit loce it😎😎🤗🐎🌬️🌬️
It looks good ! But for me ,it is difficult to recognize the seasonings .. Do you advice us to buy one all purpose curry cube ?
No, because the curry cube may be for the wrong type of curry. If you are not adventurous at least try to find Garam Massala powder to use as a curry powder (or cube)
Nice 👍🏾
Yum!
im weak for three foods: german/french bread, dark chocolate and coconut curries
German bread is the best👍🤩
What is Green Chili Paste? Is it just regular hot green chili pepper? Also, what is red chilli powder? Is it Kashmiri chili or red hot chili peppers powder?
Use any green chillies
Is it spicy?
My dad made this today, and it was DELICIOUS but STUPIDLY spicy. Like I eat Thai food but this was on the high end of spicy. My dads gonna halve the red pepper and chilis next time.
Very perfect i have say
Can you list the ingredients and amounts?
