Nio is on the right track, Onvo L60 is just the start of what that will change the EV market forever with it technology, prestige & price. I have a feeling that Onvo L60 will crush the Model Y in a big way at least distrub the EV market in general.
We can't assume anything. We have to wait for ONVO to come out and see how people will like it. If people end up liking it more than model Y, then that is it. We won't be able to try it in the USA, so in the US wont kill anything, thanks to protectionism
At PHEV / Ice vehicles, this is why byd and most brands will need to join ONVO with battery swap, once the ice or battery wears out and needs fixing or replacing, people will think maybe I'll try a car with battery swap so I don't have to worry about the battery or Ice, don't have get out of the car and fight over a charger, can also drive it's self into station while you're in the cafe, also safer faster, and the battery is monitored which is what governments want. Byd I going to make the lower range battery for ONVO, so only a matter of time before byd signs up to use battery swap, so many auto companies have signed up already, they all have to sign up or loose customers.

You know Tesla is the clear champ when everyone cant stop mentioning Tesla in an EV context. How many "Tesla killers" have failed miserably in killing the best selling vehicles on earth? Yeah it wont happen this time either.
@@marcuslundin3937 most automakers arent doing as well as the previous years due to higher interest rates. What happened to NIOs 20.000 cars per months they were supposed to achieve last year? Neither ET7 or ET5 lived up to the hype and Onvo wont either.
I agree, but I disagree. People said the same thing about Samsung phones trying to compete with Apple. Or when Apple was nearly bankrupt trying to compete with PC. Time will tell which companies win in the long-term. I think Battery-swap, especially in 5-10 years will be key to this companies succes. The newest stations swap in less than 3 mins. In the future you won't even have to sit in the car and it will swap automatically. So many benefits to having the options to swap the battery.

Tesla sales getting crushed in China this year. Shanghai global sales (China and export) down 10% on the year. That's a huge drop. Great to see.
