  • Arms workout for your Ballet arms: Improving and strengthening the way we use our arms, it’s of artistry and beauty importance. 90 percent of the times we look at the dancer from the top half, of course we look at feet and legs too and those have to be neat and precise, but our upper body is the “pen and paper” that will write the story that will involve our audience in “our writing process”.
    Beautiful arms will show excitement, anger, sadness, fear (it sounds like a Disney movie, but I hope you get the point) and whatever you are offering to those people sitting looking at you, this will be your embrace into your magical world.
    These simple exercises will show you how much more you can “write” even with something as gentle and subtle as your finger tips. Nothing in your top half of the body can be left to the side or taken for granted. The elegance and posture is often shown in the little details.
    Get your beautiful Ballet Body Today!

    @DiamondBack Queen:
    I'm so happy to hear the exercises are helping! Now that you are back on working on your posture you'll feel better and more energised than ever! Think also to include some abs exercises in order to improve posture, blood flow and get the internal organs going at their full potential. Sometimes when we sit for too long everything slows down. What courses have you just finished? I hope they went well. I'm thinking about starting a course too, maybe studying another language... we have to keep our body and brain active! I wish you all the best, let me know how you get along and if you need any suggestion! Alessia

    This was harder than we thought, we do lots of yoga and legs work, so we must now start working our arms too. Thank you for making work out such fun.

    This is the perfect video to follow in order to help my saggy first position arms. My teacher noticing them sagging and getting unpleasantly stiff when I get tired.. I know I will see results because I already feel more lifted. Thank you!

    • @lazydancertips
      @lazydancertips  8 лет назад +1

      Ooooh Lauren that is brilliant news! Very happy this can be helpful! No more saggy first positions! I'll have more arms exercises coming up. Always remember to leave shoulders relaxed, i find they are the first part of our body to stiffen up when we port de bras! If there is anything in particular you would like to work on and i can help with, let me know! In the main time Have Fun, all the best, Alessia

    Great video! have been stuck at my desk for a year in and a half with online courses so I have neglected all forms of exercise. I just completed my courses tonight, and started this work out to realign my posture. I know my posture has suffered as a result but just doing this video one time I can feel my shoulders and chest opening up, it feels fantastic.

    My friends do a barre class, but I haven't been able to go because of the nursing baby, so I searched for barre classes on RUclips and your videos were my favorite. I am so thankful you have made these. They are fabulous. You have a good energy and the quality of the video is also excellent. Thank you!!

      Once you have ballet in your blood you'll never stop being a ballerina! I'll have more workouts coming up for you to work on, for long and toned muscles ! Keep working on the arms for you to be poised and graceful. Eating tips? I always say eat healthy and colourful, drink lots of water( no fizzy drinks) and give in every now and then with what makes your palate happy. As long as you workout, walk and be active during the day there is no problem with what your intake is. Smile, Be Happy, enjoy the sun, the rain and have a Cup of Tea . If i can help you with anything in particular let me know :) ! All the best, Alessia

    Hi just found your arm exercises, so good used to do ballet as a teenager. Have just had a lumpectomy for breast cancer. have no intention of doing the granny grump arm exercises, provided by the physio. Bring the ballet on much more fun and inspiring to do

      Hello Charisse, welcome to the Lazy dancer Family! Sorry to hear about your surgery, keep positive and working your muscles gently in order to gain mobility! I know how you feel, my mom went through the same and physio gave her those granny grump exercises: we did them together with our ballet version ! 10 years later she still does them! Keep up the great work, keep smiling and dance those arms off! Lots of love and sending you good vibes! Kissy Alessia :)

    Hello Alessia! Could you make a video about toning the underarm muscle (u know... armpit) i always think a person look stronger and healthier if his/her armpit look beautiful haha ^^ am i weird? Btw please don’t stop making video, i’m doing ur Barre abs and it feel totally wonderful !

    • @lazydancertips
      @lazydancertips  6 лет назад +3

      If you keep working on your arms and correct posture Tram, your whole upper body and arms shape will change and will look toned and beautiful! I know exexcly what you mean when you mention the armpit, there are a multitude of muscles that connect to the back, side and front of the body. Keep working on these exercises and the others for arms i have on the channel! Let me know your progress! Love Alessia

    What if I cant bring my arms up while keeping scapulas down?

    • @lazydancertips
      @lazydancertips  7 лет назад +1

      Hello There! Could you give me more details as it's a bit hard to give you suggestions without seeing you. :D Your scapulas will move anyways, as long as your shoulder are down, you will eventually achieve the right movement. Try these back exercises, they might help you understanding the right placement

      It's not easy, i know, but it can be done :D Let me know how you get on ! Ciao Alessia :)
