- I purchased this because I bought a Hustler Raptor 52 (Kawasaki Engine) in April 2015 and I've worked the hell out of it with very few problems. It has been cutting 7 - 8 acres a week for 7 months a year. It also is used for other things. It has given me virtually no trouble. This is a big deal because it is being used for much, much more than what it was designed to do. So, of course, when I decided to upgrade to a commercial grade zero turn, Hustler with a Kawasaki Engine was what I wanted. Specs are important but what is more important is reliability. And since the Raptor 52 was pushed beyond what it was designed for and performed like a champ, I upgraded to the Fastrak 54. The Fastrak 54 cuts much faster. It is much, much more comfortable to ride. It holds twice the fuel so you can go longer between fill ups. Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated to let you know of any maintenance/reliability issues.
How do you get the battery out of this mower? Once you remove the plastic cover, there’s a metal cover, but there’s no way to access the screws holding it in place. 🤷🏼♀️
I have the same issue
I loosened the screws underneath the section. Tight between the tires but came right off.
This is better than the raptor.
Does it come with 2 PBR's in the cup holder or is that a option?
Those beers were sold seperately! They are needed to keep the rider hydrated! Thanks for watching.
The hustler raptor SD and most of all of them are no good. That’s why they have all these commercials to try to start selling them again because lately they break down easy on you. Many people and I know this for a fact save your money.
Thanks for watching and the comment...BUT, I have two and they never break. Both have the Kawasaki engine. I have no experience for Hustler's with the other engine choice. The Fastrak is in its second summer has about 150 hrs and hasn't had a hiccup yet!
