Freedom of choice is what you got. Freedom from choice is what you need.

I think the meat and potatoes of this speech were good. It might be good to broaden the topic beyond apple and microsoft too. Simplicity can be evident everywhere.
I think Ken went a little overboard with the self deprecating comments. It made us, the listener, believe that Ken was uneasy about his message.

"simplicity" is "simply" rebelling against too much.

Interesting subject topic but the way it was delivered was not appealing. There's a lot of bias, which annoys me as a user of multiple types of media and software, operating systems, and so on.

dear biology teacher: The cosmos was lonely, exploded into infinite shard in order to experiment itself dynamically and infinitely by endless specks that can someday, question itself and the whole Existence, and hopefully, if they are smart enough, dont kill themselves in the process...

3:45 its not do to with 1 or 5 dollar coffees, and Yes, with the mass volume of goods that mcdonalds can transform into 1 dollar coffees, ...but since you getting a coffee, you will buy other stuff too... probably... power is not innocent, and mcdonalds never does something nice for the consumers alone, if theres no profits behind it...
dont ask us to be that naive...

He's talking about the effectiveness of a simple gesture, you are twisting his words just so you can disagree with him.
