    Thank you for this video. I constantly find blue jay feathers everytime I walk this past year no matter where I go. I feel perhaps it’s a spirit animal for me. I ended up collecting two large bags full. I realized the other day and I was not sure how to clean them I just had them in plastic ziplock bags. I will post an update after I do this today. Thank you so much.

      @@daveerik75 I’m not sure but when I look up what they mean a lot of it sounds similar to my characteristics as well as my grandmother who passed who ironically who lived in a place where blue jays frequented her back yard. I have a question the tea pot I have is newer do you think boiling water in a regular pot for steam would work

      @@kaylat060889 yeah i used to use an old camping pot on the stove for this as well. It doesnt work as well and if you used a little pair of spliers so your hands dont get hot

    Hi thanks i undetstand that all freathers need to be cleaned even hawk and trukey freathers it would be nice if they came clean thanks for sharing your thoughts and good luck with everything

      You can burn whatever you want. It’s your home, your feathers. I only show people what I do.

    Are they only available to Natives?

      @@Nothanks450 I’m from Canada so riles may be different. Usa has very strict rules and I believe all natives have to apply through the repository. In Canada you would apply through fish and wildlife

      I put my feathers back in nature but this sounds a wonderful way to honour the bird and ancestors ♥️
