I'm currently homeless but no without a home the land and people have been good to me. I've seen three feathers, Grey, white spotted black and black now at my current campsite where I'm living off the land. I say a prayer each time of greatfullness and then I see the feathers. Peace be with everyone who is struggling we are just waking up 🐦

So I’ve been really focused on my spirituality and energy and about a week ago I made a decision to change. Been going strong. I wanted to watch the sun set yesterday so I drove up to a random mountain side where there was a giant tower. (I’m exteremely terrified of heights) well I decided the view would be beautiful I had to climb it. Well I tried once and quit then I sat and meditated and told myself to have the courage. Well I climbed to the top and when I came down there was an eagle feather at the bottom of the steps. I am still amazed.

Many years ago, I knew a Native American who was called Bear Claw by his people. I swear every time i was with him I found something belonging to a bird in the strangest places, one time he was giving me a ride home from work, in the drive way I found a huge turkey feather, I handed it too him as soon as i seen it. He said it was a sign of the creators blessings or something, i tried to understand but it was confusing. Then a couple days later, I found a Red Tailed Hawk "entire animal" it was dead sadly but i called him up and asked what should i do, i know this is a sign and it doesn't look like a good sign, but he said it was a great sign and asked where it was. He went and got the animal and made an entire head dress, and it was amazing, i told him to take care of it and he died a few weeks later.....sad but very true story.

Bear claw is write. Its a blessing from the creator. I know this because i got the same gift. The first year i got the left feather, exactly a year later the right feather. Same feather same collor but now from the other wing. I was looking for 12 months but i found it on the exact day a year later. Looks like You did somthing write, or you needed this gift. It had a reason 🙏

@@ChemistryAmsterdam 1st: birds are 'partner' or 'friend' of human so when you get to see 'bird parts' that means you get connected to the native spirit / 2nd: the red tailed hawk here stands for friendship of 'BearClaw' to 'Chris Douglass' / 3rd: the head dress refers to the connection of the 'living' with the 'spiritual' so the passing away of 'Bear Claw'... remark: head dress made of one and the same bird, found no too long after it died, refers to one person in particular and imminent death
I have a pair of Cardinals who come to visit me daily. They’ve been coming for years and sing beautiful songs to me. They watch me and I watch them. I feel connected to them, in a way I feel protected.
The elders are wise, I am humbled to receive the messages they share
I've really been suffering from anxiety lately due to all the stress in this world today I walked out the door this morning and found a turkey feather at the bottom of my steps I know the great creator the grandfather as he's known has sent me this feather to teach me and help me grow thank you grandfather

My dad wore a feather on his fishing hat . I kept his feather. Freedom and peace for yourself and Earth.
I’m not native, but when I go hunting, I often come across feathers before I make a kill. The first time I found one, it belonged to a wild turkey. Several hours later, I successfully hunted a turkey which fed my family for Easter. The second time, I was pronghorn hunting and a red-tailed hawk feather blew right in front of my eyes as I was following my guide on the hunt. The next day, I hunted a very large doe which, five months later, is still feeding me. God definitely gives us signs before something great happens, and in the American wilderness, those signs come in feathers.
You don't have to be Native to be connected.

A hummingbird came into my house many years ago. I held him in my hand ..petting him amazed by all the beautiful colors then I took him outside on a branch but he would not fly away. I was worried he was hurt and a cat would get him so I tried to put him in a cage and as soon as I tried to put him inside the cage. He flew away. Smart friend

I was at an early age adopted into the Tuscarora tribe which are a part of the Onondaga Indian nation. The chief gave me a blessing . He said as I would be needing this blessing when I was older. I have had visions many times but I also had a vision of him coming to me with wisdom. I believe in the Native American ways. They are very wise indeed. I have been blessed.

I don’t want to turn people off by saying this but i’m a Christian I’m young I’m 31 and I have my family and I’m so grateful for leaders like this in our community I thank God for them and their teachings and knowledge and I wanna thank you sir for putting it out there and teaching us the other side of life as well because I understand this world is more spiritual
I am an Aussie - but have always felt some perhaps spiritual connection with birds - and their feathers are things of great beauty and significance - and wear them on my Akubra hat. To hear Chief Oren Lyons speak - makes great sense to me!!
That is what I felt exactly. I do feel abandoned by my elders and I feel that the system is abusing their power.
Seeing 7 years past now I am wondering if ur still feeling the same way as u did about feeling abandoned by the elders and the corruption of the people? I feel this greatly about my tribe. 😢

I from Alaska and grew up around the beautiful natives there! I love and miss the Indian culture so deeply, and sometimes wish that I could go back home to be with them again! I wish the whole world would learn from them and absorb their teachings!! It would be a far better planet and world for sure!!! Their love and respect for God and the well being of earth and our creatures is astounding and strengthens my soul!!! God bless and protect them all, in the precious holy name of Jesus, Amen!!!
Wow... i used to use a talking stick i decorated in my meetings with my old band when we would speak on things we were concerned with or wanted to discuss. The speaker would stand and we wouldnt interrupt.... had no idea what i was doing til i saw this. Many blessings for sharing this knowledge

Two eagles appeared and called out loud to my husband and I on our wedding day after the ceremony.
A hawk appeared 3 ft in front of me near to the ground when I prayed to my ancestors to watch over as I performed healing work on my sister,
And a Turkey flew over my head in my first garden with my husband and dropped a feather to me- I still use it in medicine work.
i'm not Indigenous. i am East Indian, but i have a story about a bird.
one time, i saw a yellow bird and asked myself if birds sent us messages from the recently departed. My grandma has passed away 1.5 years ago after being in life for 30 years. And, I had just read the Viktor Frankl book. Well, right after, the yellow bird started to approach me, walking across a tree trunk towards me, then it flew right above my head, and flew in a small circle two times right above my head before flying away into a nearby tree. i still wonder, 2 years, what that encounter meant. strangely enough, this encounter with the yellow bird, happened right before a severely mentally tumultuous time for me, and i had dipped int a low period where ii felt suicidal for almost 2 weeks. I had pushed myself too hard at university, neglecting sleep trying to prove that I was worthy after a disastrous few years at university. I came out by prioritizing my spirituality. I watched Eckart Tolle, and realized i had been discounting the now, in favour of a future moment where i would be maybe proven worthy. My grandma was/is a tough woman, definitely hard on her children, but still a survivor who battled much poverty and witnessed a lot f violence b/c of political discord. maybe, the yellow bird meant our ancestors' love is always rooting for us even in difficult times.
My family uses a talking stick. it is very useful in teaching children when it is proper to speak and when it is important to listen and hear.

Hopefully it is serious. Respectfulness is definately fading....I believe it IS important for ALL of Us to have a voice, however MORE important to be taught the proper time to USE that voice.

This man has the wisdom and experience of a naval captain. Feathers are service medals or commissioned officers braids and cuff stripes.
Aho I love birds they are my sweet singing cousins the crows protect my home and warn me when someone is around.
The first time I heard of the Talking Stick. Chief Roy Wilson of the Cowletz explained it.
Pure wisdom on my opinion.
I have always respected this man and what he says. I have heard of this tradition or the talking stick or feather. I consider sacred gifts, not for decoration. If I find a feather I see it as a san that I am on the right track or where I need to be at that time. Many birds have lessons to teach us and are amazing in many ways. I try to learn about birds and how they live. If birds build nests near on on my house,I do not disturb them and allow them to raise their young. I don't mind the clean up as I see their presence as a blessing. I allow certain plants to grow because birds seem to favor them. I also have some places of clean water of the birds and feed them during the winter. I live in a congested city but I have seen Hawks, Herons, Kingfishers, Martins, Night Hawks, Sparrow Hawks, finches, crows, robins, cardinals, flickers, Swallows, Canada Geese, Ducks, Gulls, and of course pigeons, sparrows and starlings. I am amazing how many birds live so near human habitations and congestion, yet manage and some flourish.

So recently I found some Hawk Feathers! Near a place my Grandparents lived for most of my life. They are both deceased now. But I am very spiritual and love the Native American Culture! Now what I have found is that the Feathers gave confirmation of my Clairvoyance and Clairaudience. I dream that something will occur in my waking life and it does. It’s Amazing.
Found another Hawk Feather in my Path. 4/7/22 on my way into work. The significance is that I am trying to get a job and I am losing my patience. I appreciate my ancestors are with me.

My father was born in 1899 a native out of mississippi he was farmed out as a child I have been unable to find which tribe he belonged to. Guess it was important to share my father's beginning.
Quite a time those days. Many children of all races were farmed out not enough food and shelter.
my grandmother always said that birds are angels/ancestors
I did my first past life regression on my birthday this past Feb. I gave one of my spirit guides, which came in the form of a native american archetype, a feather as a gift when I was guided to come back to this reality. Ever since then I've noticed pigeon feathers on the ground wherever I choose to walk here in the streets of NYC.
I learned the importance of the Eagle Feather,and speaking from my dad,I was younger when it was related.

My husband and I moved to Northern Ontario from city life in Southern Ontario. He was raised up here. I was raised down there with strong connections to the land and all its glory., but only 2 weeks a year camping in tents on an island in THE most gorgeous place northeast of Orillia, Ontario. My most favourite times! I still, 50 years later, get a huge lump in my throat when I hear the loons call.
I have ALWAYS revered the Loon, Red Tailed Hawk, the wolf and the horse. To me, they are VERY SPECIAL.
Our northern home is rampant with hummingbirds and the bald eagles rest and hunt from a tree within sight of our house. I have a feather that I found on the ground near the tree. I've kept it, thinking of it as a gift and sacred.
We are in a very special place with Blue Jays, Eastern Pheobes, Ravens, Crows, Hummingbirds, huge cedars, poplar, sugar maples, sumac, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, wild roses, fiddlehead ferns, pine, spruce, tamarac, basswood, elderberry, mountain ash, honeysuckle, chokecherry, mullein, plantain! The more I explore, the more I find!
I'm learning and grounding and connecting.
And feeling more and more at peace each day.
I was not raised with whiteman religion. I was raised to find my peace.
It has always been Nature based for me.
I believe that The First Nations/Indigenous/Indian Peoples of our land had it right before whites tried to destroy it.
The Native Peoples had not just survived, but thrived here, for millennia before us. In fact, they help us survive when landed our SORRY asses over here in a land we knew nothing about!
The more I learn about Indigenous beliefs, the more I respect and want to learn.

Hummingbirds have always been very special to me. I have visits regularly and I especially enjoy when they buzz up and hover in front of me for a moment. I always say, “Hello. Thank you for visiting.” And I wonder what message it wants to deliver. I always feel happy and a bit surprised when one visits. Thank you for this lovely talk.
Man.. Chief Oren Lyons looks so much like my grandfather.. Wow. He was part native but it was never really talked about in the family, yet you could easily tell. The facial features, his skintone, dark hair but grey eyes. I first figured that out age 13 or 14 when I saw the movie dances with wolves, crazy as that sounds. I was like "huh? Grandpap is an indian?" When I asked my parents my mom told me yes but my dad always got extremely defensive about it. He got annoyed with all my questions, and I had so many. It became an issue between me and my dad for quite some time. Because I wanted to know and he didn't want to talk about it "You're white! You're a blond girl! There's nothing special about us!" And I got emotional as a young girl, which my dad could not deal with at all.. But he did know it was true and later on he told me how he knew because it was never talked about at home. It was at a business-fair that someone came up to my father and told him "Hey, did you know our great grandmothers were sisters? They came straight out of the tipi. We are distant cousins!" He told him they were Sioux (excuse my ignorance for not knowing the exact tribe) that lived in Canada, but that's about all. The man if I remember correctly was the owner of the Sherwood company at the time and my dad had an import business in hockey equipment.
My grandfather was a hunter and outdoors-man. Very strong. Charismatic. The type of person that everyone reckoned with. He was very self- reliant. Had a big love for birds and had special relationships with them on his island in Quebec.. I remember this big eagle poster he had taken out of a magazine and had framed in the cabin livingroom.. Watching Chief Oren Lyons talk kinda brings him back to me for a second.. Very special

It's a wonderful thing to learn the language of birds because we pick up their "clear inner knowing" too.

Red Eagle was friend of mine show me to be quite and listen. There is a difference between hearing someone speak and listening to them speak. I can now hear Mother Nature speak when the wind blows and it make my heart full of joy!
I have a saying when you do a good deed you get another feather in your wings. We are all Angles.
Beautifully put. I was gifted a Feather every day - while with my eldest sister. I gave her her LAST SUMMER on her raw land she called home. She gifted me so much. Birds are always so kind... and yes the hummingbird is one of my Totems.

we have to let our children know they are Loved, and wanted and just 'be there', give them love when they come to you. some are harder than others,, but they need to trust you are a safe place. parents cannot yell or fight, that is selfish. you must listen and know we are bringing up the Next Generation , as many have said - bring your kids to nature, and teach them to grow food, and live wisely. they are in our care. You just blew my mind Chief, thank you, this is literature too, this video/audio recording. Thank you for "writing" this down. The eagle may too stoop to be a hawk so as to be closer to man and know His language. Never knew a native lifetime, but I have always walked with the Hummingbird and either the Eagle or the Hawk depending on the situation. A hawk once gave its body to me on the trail home (literally still warm and quite dead) one summer, living on a mountain side, in a commune, for spiritual retreat. I knew enough to pray, clip the wings and tail, and dry; I did not think to keep the head, but I made an offering of burning as they do in India.
Never knew a native life, just Tibet and Jesus (the real one who walked "bard"-foot upon the earth and let the "enemy' "kill" Him ha ha ha) any way I have spoken of the Eagle and the Hummingbird many times over the decades. I did not know this was a Native blessing until this morning. This video record is a good thing, thank you Speaker, I can feel you from here

I kept finding n keeping feathers last year and was researching spiritual insight. So, Whoever, Angel I'm guessing got me to the point that I wanted to find a feather in a place where there is no way it came from a bird. I kept looking thru my house hoping to find a feather. The next day, I was in the passenger seat of my bros. truck at a gas station, n I thought about wanting to find a feather again. About 15 seconds later I took off my sunglasses and ball cap. A doves feather fell on my lap out of my hat
