Good to see someone ripping on that freestyle, I have one as well and I feel like after watching this I may have under estimated its durability. Solid video keep it up!
Thank you, I appreciate it and yeah it takes a hell of a beating. I was a bit reluctant to full send in the beginning to but we get better through trail and error. Happy flying my friend 😁
That’s not a sport S, you have to do a half roll. Definition- Description The Split S is an air maneuver, To execute a Split S, the pilot half-rolls their aircraft inverted and executes a descending half-loop, resulting in level flight in the opposite direction at a lower altitude.
@@JurneMolina did you purchase the kit or bnf? I'm very interested in upgrading from my betafpv starter drone and looking for something acro like this. I hear the remote isn't that great but I honestly have nothing really to compare it to. Input would be valuable. Thanks!
@@ChrisParayno Yes I purchased the kit, but I only needed the Quad. The controller isn't great I'd suggest binding it to your Betafpv lite radio. If you have the goggles and radio already I would suggest just picking up a BNF version instead of the whole kit.
I enjoyed mine but soon after getting it I damaged the gyro, so the way it looks when flying is best described as when you drive a car with a flat tire. I like it so much though that I'm rebuilding it. Sort of. I'm keeping the frame, motors and props but everything else is going to be different on it. I wasn't very good at flying when I gave up flying it but I'm not bad now so it should be a lot of fun.
Awesome to hear man, there's such a blast to fly. I'm currently working on a video I completely rebuild mine too I had a accident a few weeks ago. The new Video should be out soon!
You're absolutely right! in the beginning I was flying in Air mode. However I found it a bit easier to learn the movement in Horizon mode by having the accelerometer level you out after big movements. But eventually I did change back to Air Mode, not super fluid in acro mode just yet but I am getting there.
@@JurneMolina I find that it helps if you practice in a Sim. The quad that made me fly better if you play Liftoff is the Tyro99. Download that model from the community and you will have a blast and learn it faster in no time. I think it helps if you start off with a bigger quad like a 5". Keep flying bro!
Hope it helps
I'd check to make sure your antenna is the proper length and that it hasn't been cut short by the props. Also check the solder joints of the antenna. If you bound to the quad in D16 mode, some people report big problems with range in D16 mode. Mine worked fine in D16 mode but funny enough, my Tinyhawk 2 failsafed about 15 feet away from me in D16 mode, and the TH2 uses the exact same board as the THF2. Strange, but my THF2 works fine in D16 but my TH2 needs D8 mode.
@@JurneMolina horizon and stability modes will teach you bad habits, stick with acro/air mode, I thought acro mode was going to be impossible to learn. I learned on a tiny whoop and beat the hell out of it and then I ran across a pc and bought some simulators. Acro is the way to go, just keep practicing.

Good job man ! keep practicing and try to unlock your VTX for 200mW, it's better image quality and range.
Thanks man, I am going to follow your video tutorial on how to do that soon!
@Gregory Dahl Gotcha you're right it's as easy as going in your OSD on the goggles and switching it. Hit save and Bob's your uncle!

Yeah @CarbonGlassMan basically covered it all. I'd unlock your vtx to 200mw as well but obviously work on getting the range first.
Once you get to the top of the object do a half a barrel and then pitch back. Just got to be committed
Half a barrel and pitch back alright imma do a few in the SIM first and then head out!
