Those buildings you saw as you got on 285 west were the king and queen buildings, part of the concourse office complex which is, in turn, part of yet another one of Atlanta's skylines, Perimeter Center, which is in dunwoody and sandy springs, two actual suburban cities in the metro. As you go from 285 west to 75 north you'll pass Cumberland/Vinings and its office towers and business complexes, yet another skyline of the Atlanta metro.

I feel ya. I make this drive from Macon, GA twice a week to make deliveries for a private baker. Tuesdays are ok, but then Fridays! I joke, yet seriously to make a point to my company heads that when traffic comes to a dead stop... I'd jump into the back of the van, crank up the music, and jam out! I kid, but at times, I probably could! I learned to make the best out of the worse. Defensive driving is a must when you least expect to.
