Fabian, your tireless work and patience documenting these activities at all hours is overwhelming. Whether you're recording the Metro security personnel, Park Ranger workers, sanitation workers, social workers, etc and their trained and restrained patience and kindnesses so needs to be publicly observed. And you accomplish it with such high journalistic professionalism. Great respect, sir!

IN PHILADELPHIA, when someone is laying down on the floor on the subway (BSL or MFL) and they are unconscious, what usually happens is a group of riders will drag the person out of the train at the next stop, then get back in the train and go about their business. SEPTA has a great camera system and they see this and call for help immediately. If they stay on the train, the time for help to arrive increases and locals know that. I know its a weird thing to do but thats what people do in Philly.

It’s standard for security to have everyone vacate the train on the last stop . The only way to address the issue of transients causing nuisance is to have security at all stations to impeding fare evasion. This in the end is just all smoke and metro is too political to make the real change .

You don't see this nearly as much during the day. I've taken this line many times and you do see a homeless person once in a while but they don't usually cause a problem.
Still, a big difference on LA Metro is that many stations still have no fare gates so much easier to people to evade fares. LA Metro need to install fare gates at these stations.

Notice that the individual who leaped onto the tracks was permitted to leave without so much as an ounce of effort to assist that person. Granted, they cannot force you to get help, but this does nothing to address the actual issues (and there are MANY) at each and every stop along the routes.

Here in Denver about 90% of the homeless that aren't Venezuelan are doing the "fentanyl lean", at least the Venezuelans are willing to work (they can only work under the table) and are usually not on drugs.

15:15 I know from my time at Metro that many homeless will buy a pass that allows unlimited travel. To stay warm in the winter, they ride all night, getting off at the end and reboarding when the bus goes back in service. This is perfectly legitimate and shows how some people survive.
