I bought mine last March and it came with 3 fans. I LOVE it!!!! I was able to get the water to fill the edges as well. It has been a workhorse and used for a few hours almost every day. It's a lot bigger than I pictured it and was extatic to see it. I can't say enough good about it!!! Great product. Worth saving for if needed as well. It lights up the inside of the booth. One thing... don't forget to spray toward the waterfall. I found a bad habit of spraying outside of the booth that needed to be corrected. The filters are easily found on Amazon or the *bay.

Glad I stumbled upon your channel, tons of info and knowledge to be learned. I haven’t built kits since my teens, and am now getting back to it to do with my son. More piddling and building and less screen time. I’m glad you test booths, I’m looking at purchasing one. Appreciate your channel 👊🏻
It’s nice seeing a proper video on a water fall! Appreciate the tip on applying the wax/rain•x…not something I would have even considered without you mentioning it. 👍
I bought the one from amazon you did that was master brand. Been loving it. Works perfect for what i need. Not sure if i want to mess around with a waterfall booth ever but its definitely a cool product
Neat idea with the water curtain. And great idea putting the drain fitting in. Couple thoughts: *** Add a hose to the drain fitting and a ball valve. Run it into a 5gal bucket. Drain the tank without having to move anything. *** Almost all hobby booths have the fan pulling air directly through them. This will let the paint spray build up on the fan unit and in turn, effect the motor life span. Also sticks to the fan blades. This can knock the fan out of balance and add weight, straining the bearings and motor. Also cuts the cfm as the blade shape is altered. Better is to have the pipe run from booth to a water/filter bucket like you have first, and have the fan on the other side of the bucket. Have a length of pipe on the inlet side, from the booth, hang under the lid and just an inch or two above the water so the paint is forced to hit the water more. You can make it height adjustable so to adjust for water level. Have the outlet flush with the top of the bucket. A bit more work, but worth it to save the expensive bits and have cleaner air.
Nice test and this looks like a pretty good one! This one be good all around booth and if the need arises, you could take off the panels around the front and use this to exhaust a tent booth. This would have been a more convenient option for when I was building my large indoor booth. Good tip on putting down cardboard/ paper on the spray deck because you're going to get spray dust there, even if you have a powerful exhaust fan. If you do a lot of spraying and spray large pieces, I'd paper the sides too. It's a lot easier than trying to clean overspray dust that builds up.
The rough/etched plastic on the sides is there to help funnel the water so don't apply RainX/Wax/whatever to that part of the panel. The center should be fine. Explanation: Water will follow the path of least resistance and the cohesion of water (its attraction to itself) means that the etched sides work to keep a solid sheet of water flowing down the center of the panel. You can see in the video how the water coming down the panel is angling inwards towards the center. It helps maintain a solid sheet of water in the center of the panel where the spraying is happening. Without the etching, the sheet of water may part in the center as it's drawn off to the sides of the panel. You might also get water with paint particles getting sucked up by the fans and blown around which could be a risk to the fans and also reduces the efficiency of the whole setup. tldr; The etched edges make you lose coverage on the sides but you get better coverage in the center.
I'd love to see an attempt to measure how effective the fans on these units are. Taking a measurement of the particles in the air before painting and then another after a good chunk of time air brushing in the booth would go a long way toward showing whether these booths are actually fulfilling their purpose.
I have been looking at these for my hobby room in the house. I have a smaller paint booth setup in the garage but too cold in winter to airbrush. Great timing on this review...thank you. BTW, my Swallowtail, fan cap and stand was delivered last night. My stand number is 150! I will put the airbrush through it's paces tomorrow. Can't wait! Happy holidays to you and your wife.

Manufacturer is Ophir (according to the link #2 you have). Was looking at several of the booths you had recommended for BF. Checking sizes, reading a bunch of reviews on Amazon and others. Went with the dual fan/dual switch 21" lighted version of this booth. Its the next step down without the waterfall. Normally $180, grabbed it as fast as I could at $120 (BF and coupon). Zero regrets. Takeaways: extremely well packaged for shipping. Major kudos there. No muss or fuss setting up as was BR's. Big complaints about other brands and price points was their low quality. Fully shocked at how well this was made. Wings popped firmly, as did lights, and didn't feel like was about to break anything. Even when moving around seeing where i wanted to put it. Hose is very good quality for overall price, as are connecting pieces and the exhaust for the window. Very surprised. Also, as BR mentioned, top exhaust for minimal back space. 👍. Very reasonable sound levels. Better than expected light, even though I use extra with them, they help those little nooks and crannies on my armor builds. Very Very satisfied at the price i got mine. Size was major deciding factor, most were 15-16" inside frame, mine was 21.5" and this videos is 24.5" inside. For some of us big hand klutzy types, space matters. Mine ticked every box and quite pleased. By the looks, if you're wanting a waterfall booth, don't be afraid to pull the trigger with that coupon. It's better quality and value than i expected for this ones little brother and am very happy i did. I got no dog in this hunt, just my experience with Ophir and Barbatos Rex recommended booth. ☕🐢
I had the ophir one and originally I really liked it, but it's not built to handle solvents and started to dissolve after 90 days or so with moderate laquer usage. I put some videos on my page reviewing this and the kaizo x, and it's worth it to pay a little more and wait for the kaizo x
I'm starting out my airbrush journey much the same way you did and thinking about the day I eventually buy something like this :) Thanks for the helpful videos!
I have this one. Upgraded from the basic mini booth we've all seen before earlier this year. My main gripe is getting rid of the water means having to take off the whole upper area. Also I find that with the waterfall, working space is slightly narrow in depth. I may try spray without the waterfall and see how that works. Wonder if the air suction will be even stronger. Overall happy with this booth.
@@barbatosrex9473 Oh yes! I was going to ask if you'd consider making a follow up video if you get around to doing that. I'm a little nervous I'd ruin the tub.

Hi Robert, Looking at getting one of these after seeing your video. I like the idea of the drain plug but I didn’t see it linked. Thank you for all you do, God bless you and your family

I really like this one, I'm not really a fan of plastic spray booths because of their static ability to attract dust while painting, but these waterfall ones look to stop that from happening. Really wanting to try one of these ;) Great video as always! Hope all is great take care!
Fantastic demonstration and the extra hints on water curtain sides with rainx wax, absolutely splendid lesson on products of tools to make for safe environment and no more trips to the E.R😅! I have a question on some time ago you demonstrated plastic tungsten steel chisels was that gotten through Amazon and wasn't there another vendor or two, I thought it may have been one of your space age model brands don't remember, I'm a 135 scale military model builder, Thanks for any feedback, all day I'm to words that teach me! Love the show quality entertainment for a great hobby it keeps me busy! 😊
I got this exact on a black Friday sale from Amazon for $207. I feel like I’ve had it forever with how much I’ve used it. I did use rain X on it, or whatever that’s called. I did have to apply it at least three times for it to get as good as I wanted it. I can tell you, though that textured bit on the side is somewhat necessary to stop it from splashing. I was able to get it to go all the way to the edge, but it ended up splashing or misting just a little bit too much. so I wrapped up the plastic pit more in the corners, just about 4 inches and that pulls it back into the center and stops it from splashing. The fan is pretty noisy if you’re painting for over an hour. But thankfully, you only need it to barely be on with acrylics. I’ve used it without the fan on many times. I believe the three fans together are actually quieter than the two fan systems with equal amounts of pull. So the lowest thing is still quite effective. I haven’t had any trouble, lifting it up and removing the tank to wash it out. It is very light. But for the most part, I don’t wash it out as much as I probably should. I added a little filter that floats on the back and because acrylics float pretty well. They stick to the filter and I just pulled that out and wash it. Generally, though my only problem with it is that I have a dehumidifier in the room. And I have to keep adding water way too often. I have FDM 3-D printers in the room so I keep it around 30% relative humidity. so I have to add about a gallon every week. I love the lights they work very well with almost no shadows in combination with the excessive number of lights. I have in the room already. Only problem with the lights is that if I wanna tuck it away it’s a little annoying to remove the lights store them underneath and then get them back out each time. so I try to just leave it assembled all the time. Can’t think of any serious problems with this unit. After over 100 hours of painting, I haven’t needed to change the air filter. And I mean, it’s really not showing much use at all.. but it clearly works as it does clear the room of VOCs pretty quickly when my alarms go off I just turned the fan on and it sucks the air out of the room for me lol. The VSC alarms are for my printers, mostly. It goes often because I use alcohol spray to clean things. I really need to remember to turn on the fan in the booth and spray the alcohol right in the booth, I’ve haven’t tried that yet. For anyone thinking of getting this I would definitely say it’s worth it at about US$300, maybe 350 if you use it a lot. I’ve heard talk of people replacing these fans with computer fans… I’m very interested in this idea, as when I’m painting, I really like to have my daughter in the room painting with me. And it’s just a tad bit noisy conversation.
My non-water spray booth has adjustable fans - love that feature! I can crank it up when I'm spraying heavy and dial it back when I'm doing something small. I'm not sure about the waterfall thing though. Great review!
My waterfall spray booth looks identical to this one. But I'm in the United kingdom and they didn't tell me the pump was 110 volts only. It burned the pump out. Contacted the Company and they sent me a new pump for United kingdom power.. Alls great now and they also paid the shipping costs. So if your not sure when ordering check the voltage.
It is definately more than just bench candy by the looks of it👌🏼 Seems to have good power. Definately worth the 2 and change. That tip for the water pan is a stroke of genius, workin smarter not harder. Awesome review plus the nuggets of wisdom, really appreciated😁 Have a good evening✌🏽

Out of all the booths you have tested out, with an unbiased opinion, which is your all time favorite booth that keeps your room absolutely overspray free? I get a lot of paint cloud and extreme overspray in my craft room where my laser is when I’m priming my wood with thinned down water-based bullseye primer spraying around 60 psi. I need really good suction power. I need my craft room to stay overspray free. Thank you 😊
@@barbatosrex9473 I was just using that $25 spray booth tent from Walmart with a box fan to exhaust out the window. My air purifier and the 6” AC Infinity inline fan I have connected to my laser that runs out the window was pulling in the overspray in the air cause I found so much paint overspray particles through the exhaust fan of my laser.
Glad I found this video. I will be ordering this next month doesn’t have discount anymore, but that’s OK. The booth I have is a little bit smaller. It’s Amazon when it’s little bit narrow for my wide frame. It’s funny. I don’t fit the booth. My objects fit the booth so now this will help me not closed off, thank you again as always our patriot member for over two years now I think maybe one and a half. Be well be you
Ace video. Have you thought about putting together a tier list of all your booths? How you would recommend then with both performance and price in mind? I'd be very curious. Kind regards
Thanks for the review ... I suspect I will see one under the tree. The drain plug is a great idea from what I understand... you have to drain the water when you're done for the day. Could you add the link to find one of thos drains. Thanks 👍
Try Rain next i've had better luck with rainX but I found something better if you can fine it .The name is Never wet made by Rustoleum now I spray all the parts and let dry 3 times and wow it is amazing you will think me .
Great review, Robert. This is my first time seeing a waterfall type booth. Forgive my ignorance, but does the water cause humidity issues at all? Thanks for sharing.
Very interested in this booth, but does it come with the window vent piece that a window can camp onto like a lot of the other booths you have reviewed?
Do you have any information on the airflow? Does it move enough air to be safe indoors? All it says is "twice the suction power of other models" Well that could be anything.
Hello great channel and information thank you. I have a quick question? I’m new to this hobby I plan on assembling some plastic model cars and was wanting to paint them Do you use primer on your cars? I plan on using tamiya acrylic paint with Airbrush thank you have a great day
Another great review 😮, wanna buy it 😊. Too bad I'm broke 😂 l think it may be more than I really need at this point in time. I'm just a beginner. I did get your air brush and numbered stand plus another item. Arriving at the end of this week, I can't hardly wait. Great anticipation 🎉
Looks like a nice spray booth, but someone educate me. What's the purpose of the water feature? Is it primarily to catch overspray and prolong the life of the air filters?
Do you coat the clear panels of the booth with anything to prevent paint from adhering to the inside surfaces? I work with solvent based paints, and I like to keep things looking pristine, even though I get wild with the airbrush!
Oh wow I want one of these!! Living in an apartment this will really take care of any smells. But sadly I just missed out on the second order of your wonderful air gun! I am signed up for the third reordered of them so I hope to own one soon. Take care ❤ your videos!!
Another awesome video, thanks! I think the waterfall booth would be good for someone who airbrushes often or for extended periods. It seems a bit much for occasional painting unless it removes fumes from enamels or lacquers. Does it reduce the solvent smell if not exhausted outside?
Hey, i got your Swallowtail AB today =) , now i need a booth, can you recommand this still today or do you have better option without water to me ? And could you tell me what you do with the connected blue bucket ? I am new to the Airbrush hobby. Thanks a lot and nice Vid again
I bought mine last March and it came with 3 fans. I LOVE it!!!! I was able to get the water to fill the edges as well. It has been a workhorse and used for a few hours almost every day. One thing... don't forget to spray toward the waterfall. I found a bad habit of spraying outside of the booth that needed to be corrected. The filters are easily found on Amazon or the *bay.
Why would you spray outside of the booth after spending so much money on this needlessly overkill gadget?
I don't know why I hadn't thought to do the water bucket output you showed in the other video. Definitely going to be useful in getting my weird basement window setup going in a variety of weather.

Neat idea with the water curtain. And great idea putting the drain fitting in. Couple thoughts:
*** Add a hose to the drain fitting and a ball valve. Run it into a 5gal bucket. Drain the tank without having to move anything.
*** Almost all hobby booths have the fan pulling air directly through them. This will let the paint spray build up on the fan unit and in turn, effect the motor life span.

My non-water spray booth has adjustable fans - love that feature! I can crank it up when I'm spraying heavy and dial it back when I'm doing something small. I'm not sure about the waterfall thing though. Great review!
Can't wait to get away from my cardboard box set-up. Thanks for the vid!
Great review
nice both for the price for sure. Great Video Robert keep them coming.!
Thanks for the video. If I ever get a space I can work in I will likely go for stuff you have been recommending.
Is this just a rebrand of the Robot Kai waterfall booth? Looks exactly the same as the one I have. To the letter.
Almost the same, difference is this one has 3 fans instead of 2
my robot kai one has 3 fans

My waterfall spray booth looks identical to this one. But I'm in the United kingdom and they didn't tell me the pump was 110 volts only. It burned the pump out. Contacted the Company and they sent me a new pump for United kingdom power.. Alls great now and they also paid the shipping costs. So if your not sure when ordering check the voltage.
Now that's a nice spray booth
Nice booth. Maybe after first of year. Looking forward to seeing your review of Busters Custom paints. Haven’t used any yet.
It is definately more than just bench candy by the looks of it👌🏼
Seems to have good power. Definately worth the 2 and change.
That tip for the water pan is a stroke of genius, workin smarter not harder.
Awesome review plus the nuggets of wisdom, really appreciated😁
Have a good evening✌🏽
For an unbiased actual review of this exact same booth, please see a video I posted a few months ago. Link to the video... ruclips.net/video/cSOy5NdJ62I/видео.htmlsi=i_ZDTbyJXPC_bTAp. Or search for "Review - ES 600 Waterfall Airbrush Spray Booth".
Bought the booth on the Gaahleri website-do you have a link for the drain plug?
would there be any benefit to adding some kind of solvent alcohol or thinner to the water?
Out of all the booths you have tested out, with an unbiased opinion, which is your all time favorite booth that keeps your room absolutely overspray free? I get a lot of paint cloud and extreme overspray in my craft room where my laser is when I’m priming my wood with thinned down water-based bullseye primer spraying around 60 psi. I need really good suction power. I need my craft room to stay overspray free. Thank you 😊
What booth are you using now?
@@barbatosrex9473 I was just using that $25 spray booth tent from Walmart with a box fan to exhaust out the window. My air purifier and the 6” AC Infinity inline fan I have connected to my laser that runs out the window was pulling in the overspray in the air cause I found so much paint overspray particles through the exhaust fan of my laser.
That booth works great! I have a regular booth and it works good, but this would work much better for my setup. I'll drop a hint for Christmas lol
Nice spray booth
once again great job
Glad I found this video. I will be ordering this next month doesn’t have discount anymore, but that’s OK. The booth I have is a little bit smaller. It’s Amazon when it’s little bit narrow for my wide frame. It’s funny. I don’t fit the booth. My objects fit the booth so now this will help me not closed off, thank you again as always our patriot member for over two years now I think maybe one and a half. Be well be you
How well does the 5 gallon bucket filter work for removing the solvent from the paints?
It's not filtering ANY solvents.
You need a high quality filter for that stuff
Ace video. Have you thought about putting together a tier list of all your booths?
How you would recommend then with both performance and price in mind? I'd be very curious.
Kind regards
Why can't you hook a Hose up to the pump and pump it in to a bucket because you have to take the Hose to clean it
That's how I cleaned it. Pumped the water out of the base
Great review, and nice Dream Theater shout out! For a smoke test, you could use an incense stick.
Great video, I like ur hobby room set up,keep them coming take care rob 🙏
Thanks Robert
Robert, I wish you and all your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hans
Thanks for the review ... I suspect I will see one under the tree. The drain plug is a great idea from what I understand... you have to drain the water when you're done for the day.
Could you add the link to find one of thos drains. Thanks 👍
Here's the link to the drain plug

Try Rain next i've had better luck with rainX but I found something better if you can fine it .The name is Never wet made by Rustoleum now I spray all the parts and let dry 3 times and wow it is amazing you will think me .
That’s cool!
Great review, Robert. This is my first time seeing a waterfall type booth. Forgive my ignorance, but does the water cause humidity issues at all? Thanks for sharing.
Not at all. Humidity is atmospheric, this little waterfall doesn't cause any humidity
@barbatosrex9473 thank you sir.
When are your airbrushes going to be back in stock? Also looking forward to their premium air brushes
Great video, still thanking about getting the Pace
Pace review coming this week
😅i have that one waiting for my table to put it on
Very interested in this booth, but does it come with the window vent piece that a window can camp onto like a lot of the other booths you have reviewed?
It does come with the vent
WHY not take the hose off the pump put on the one with the siphon then turn on the pump no drain plug needed
Thanks for reviewing this one! Definitely on my list.
Clicked on direct link. Showed $50 off but no additional discount code was provided
I can use the $50 off coupon but the 10% won’t work. Any ideas?
Do you have any information on the airflow? Does it move enough air to be safe indoors? All it says is "twice the suction power of other models" Well that could be anything.
Hello great channel and information thank you.
I have a quick question? I’m new to this hobby I plan on assembling some plastic model cars and was wanting to paint them Do you use primer on your cars? I plan on using tamiya acrylic paint with Airbrush thank you have a great day
Tamiya's acrylic sprays great on any surface. You don't really need a primer with them if you are just spraying the car body out of the box
Thank you
Another great review 😮, wanna buy it 😊. Too bad I'm broke 😂 l think it may be more than I really need at this point in time. I'm just a beginner. I did get your air brush and numbered stand plus another item. Arriving at the end of this week, I can't hardly wait. Great anticipation 🎉
😂that booth is the same brand of airbrush acrylic paints I'd like u to do a test on 😂thank u again for another awsome review
Man that's nuts, I had no idea there was water fall paint shields.
Can you use this with spray paint?
Yes. Also I will be reviewing a new waterfall spray booth soon, it comes out early November. More power than this one
Wait does this design mean you can spray in the basement? Or is a window still required?
Just thinking, why not use the included pump (or something like a hand transfer pump) to empty it?
Just ordered one .thanks for the review
Looks like a nice spray booth, but someone educate me. What's the purpose of the water feature? Is it primarily to catch overspray and prolong the life of the air filters?
They catch larger amounts of overspray and quicker. Most auto spray booths are waterfall as they clean the air quicker
great review as always 😊. i am over whelmed by all the boxed kits you have. Do you build them, or are they a collection. Merry Christmas!
Do you coat the clear panels of the booth with anything to prevent paint from adhering to the inside surfaces? I work with solvent based paints, and I like to keep things looking pristine, even though I get wild with the airbrush!
I don't but I have used plastic wrap or I tape construction paper to the sides and replace that every few weeks
How should one safely dispose of water waste?
Flush it
I would live to upgrade to a Waterfall at some time, maybe after Christmas
Thank you for another great review and tips!
Winded or rain ex?🎉
Rain X
Thats verycool. it feels like it may be too much mantance for how often I use my booth tho.
This thing is pretty cool.
Excellent demo! 👌👍👍
Oh wow I want one of these!! Living in an apartment this will really take care of any smells. But sadly I just missed out on the second order of your wonderful air gun! I am signed up for the third reordered of them so I hope to own one soon. Take care ❤ your videos!!
I'll be giving away 2 waterfall spray booths so be on the look out for those. Be sure you have the notification checked off so you don't miss it
@@barbatosrex9473 Wow that would be awesome I sure will thank you so very much for letting me know!!! 🥰🥰 God bless you and your wonderful wife!!
Do you mind sharing how you build the exhaust filter using the bucket and charcoal/carbon filter?
Another awesome video, thanks! I think the waterfall booth would be good for someone who airbrushes often or for extended periods. It seems a bit much for occasional painting unless it removes fumes from enamels or lacquers. Does it reduce the solvent smell if not exhausted outside?
The side lighting is a great idea.
Hey, i got your Swallowtail AB today =) , now i need a booth, can you recommand this still today or do you have better option without water to me ? And could you tell me what you do with the connected blue bucket ? I am new to the Airbrush hobby. Thanks a lot and nice Vid again
Try Jet-dry in the water. You’ll only need a few drops each time to break the surface-tension.
