I hope they fix ichigo’s weak performance vs Ywach in fight 1 Ywach blocking ichigo with his arm… the same ichigo who later scales to an empowered version. Maybe a ywach/uryu tag team
The purple sky gives one the impression that Yhwach really likes atmospheric lighting. Ichigo: finally out of that red light skies. Now we can fight normally- Yhwach: as The new Soul King, the sky is now purple! Ichigo grumbles
Man, I remember you resurrecting your channel a few years ago, one of the few channels still enthusiastically covering Bleach long after the manga ended - now here we are with a non-mobile game Bleach game on the horizon and the tail end of TYBW finally getting animated with all the stuff Kubo *wanted* to put into the manga. It's genuinely surreal.
The fact that Pernida is apparently CGI and I was not able to tell, gives me hope that they will do that fight justice. Really curious about all the new and extended scenes as well.

It makes sense to me. I'm fairly sure his is the last revealed bankai in source material. I also think for non-manga readers, his bankai is probably the most anticipated, even more than kyoraku. I can totally imagine they milk urahara bankai for marketing final cour haha
I'm really hoping the Arrancars, Fullbringers, Isshin and Ryuken have extended parts in the cour. I remember Kubo said Rangiku was supposed to be an important character in the arc so I'm not sure if that'll play out.

The Haschwlth scene is more than likely him destroying the Gate of the Sun in anticipation of Uryu's betrayal. As for the shot of Uryu flipping backwards, it looks like that is when he's battling Ichigo during their first confrontation with Yhwach given the arrows shot at ichigo at the start of the trailer
It's so nice to see Ichigo and Yhwach clash so much more in the anime. In just his Fullbringer Bankai set, he was able to clash with and stall him. Imagine him now with his true powers, that's going to be an awesome fight.
Agreed, honestly that’s the aspect I am the most excited to see from this new cour. Their Ep 7 skirmish was so incredible, this is the exact type of justice I’ve wanted from the anime for Ichigo after awakening his powers and to heighten his conflict with Yhwach as the main villain. This should do wonders for both of their characters imo

He has his "Blut Vein you Only saw in his eyes" and him holding this Quincy button/medallion and it having the same effects on it. He has to see what target 1 and 2 are and once he designates them ANTHESIS!
I really, really, really, REALLY hope we see Isshin's bankai here against Gerard. He does absolutely nothing in the final arc, why not have him team up with Toshiro, reuniting in a fire and ice dual bankai fight? Straight out of a fanfiction honestly and we'd get 2 extremely hype moments we've all been waiting for

I want a proper fight between Uryu and Ichigo so badly! A clash for the two to really come to terms with who and what theyre fighting for and later on I hope, a proper display of bankai Ichigos power!
Really excited for Aizen's scenes and the Kyoraku fight, his bankai reveal was one of my favorites. I like that they are letting Uryuu be involved in the conflict and take more action to the point of fighting soul reapers, it would make his decision to fight Ywach in his own way a lot more nuanced and meaningful rather than standing like a prop in almost every scene up until the end. Having him balance his actions between appeasing the quincies and helping the soul reapers would make for a really good conflict both between himself and how he would be seen in the war's aftermath, which could lead into a nice extended aftermath of the war and how he can atone for his actions instead of getting a timeskip where everything was already solved. One of my biggest hopes for Uryuu's character is to have a conversation with Ryuken about being a doctor, he swore at a very young age that he would never seek that profession so seeing Ryuken ease his mind and give him a talk on why he became a doctor would be a nice way to wrap up their relationship and also explain why he still became a doctor in the end.
Oh you can count on it 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. This is perfect for the vizard to help out more and even for Isshin to get involved. He needs a reunion with toshiro. I guarantee isshin will get a big fight in cour 4.
@@felipez3115 nah, the decision to have ywach end the gerard fight is pretty bad, it's a plot contrivance at best and it makes ywach look stupid for not letting gerard finish the job at worst, not to mention the fight itself did a bunch of characters dirty
Anybody ever notice that Haschwalth is the only Quincy we call by his last name?? Also just noticed while writing this, we only call captains by their last name also, except for ones close to ichigo (byakuya, renji, shinji). Also, if you think about it, Haschwalth is the closest thing the Quincy have to a soul reaper on their side! Think about it, He has NO quincy powers, not even a bow. He has 2 weapons that he channels his power through. And his powers technically has 2 stages just like zanpakutou. The first stage where he just uses his sword and shield to absorb bad/good luck and a sword that can fire that power. And the second stage where the balance is activated and he basically becomes unkillable and is the luckiest or "most fortunate" person in the fight. Idk what that means but thought it was cool.
“Part 3 will show a lot of brand new, never before seen content.” I kinda figured that was gonna be the case. There wouldn’t be enough story left for two more cours if they went by the manga frame for frame.
I'm still holding out hope that cour 4 is going to be almost entirely anime original. The ending of the manga needs to be tossed in the garbage and completely replaced.

I’m calling it now that the new Renji fight is actually Renji vs Uryu. Renji looks somber activating Bankai, Uryu slowly drawing his bow and arrow and then saying “This world doesn’t need Soul Reapers.” His quote might not match the actual scene but it fits my head canon so I’m sticking with it 😂😂

In the case of Pernida, I think they are using the same method used in movies, utilize a dark environment to disguise the CGI. From the trailer it seems that they did it well, but we have to wait for the anime to see if this follows true for to the whole fight.
Pernida actually does appear to be CG in that shot. I guess it speaks of the quality of it that you thought it wasn’t. But I’m almost certain it is. Mixed feelings on that.
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! So they didn’t showed Mayuri’s bankai huh? And Kyoraku’s bankai will be animated for the first time. I think Cour 3 will end with Kyoraku’s fight, and Cour 4 will be Gerard, Askin, Hatchwalth and Yuha Bach.
I'm rereading Bleach once more, and this time while in the Soul Society arc, I noticed that Kubo seemed to be setting up a rematch between Zaraki and Ichigo with Zaraki expressing that desire through traveling with Orihime. He says that he thinks he'll be able to run into Ichigo again if he goes with Orihime right after sensing and commenting on Ichigo training for bankai. It would be really cool to see a versus battle between the two. It might get a little nebulous where Ichigo's true strength is concerned, but I think there's enough evidence for both parties to be fairly pitted against each other at the end of the TYBW.
That Uryu shot of him in varvhelt (how ever you spell it) might be him thinking of killing Mayuri after his fight with Pernida. Obviously he doesn’t go through with it, but this could tease his conflicting thoughts he has about the soul reapers.

Even with all of the new content, it's amazing just how far this part is managing to get, the Kyoraku vs Lille and the Kurotsuchi vs Pernida fights are both relatively late in manga, basically being the last few big fights before the finale truly begins so it says to me that the final cour is probably going to be MOSTLY new stuff which is just getting me SO EXCITED! I can't wait to see what happens and, of course, to hear MrTommo break it all down for us! XD
Maybe the Blut in Uryu's eyes is the explaination as to how he resists Senjumaru's attack. Maybe Uryu's tapestry breaks apart, and Senjumaru is like, "How did you escape?" And he turns around and we see his eyes covered in Blut, and then he starts explaining how he did it. Then the scene of him activating Blut in Cour Two will serve as foreshadowing. But that's just a theory.

I’ve rewatched this trailer over 50 times at this point. So many new additions 😂😂😂😂😂😂. The opening and ending theme are fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I’m so happy they’re extending the fight between ichigo and ywach when they reach the soul king. Ichigo vs Uryu incoming 😭😭😭😭😭. I don’t care what anyone says. This is the definitive version of the war arc and you can’t convince me otherwise!!!
Now lets get to the countdown shall we? Yhwach Almighty and Uryuu defeat Senjumaru would be the first excitement thing ever since its on the first episode. Aside from that Cour 3 is shaping up tp be way different and probably better than the source material but who knows. I am just excited to see that Bleach is back.

They have to hide Aizen to add to the hype when he returns. If we get a Bankai then it will break records.
I hope the Gerard fight gets the tweaks it needs. They were gonna lose until plot intervened and that made it feel like a cheap cop out.

There's no problem following it as it was in the manga, I even prefer it this way to show that he can only be stopped by Yhwach.

Kubo said a decade ago that this arc was supposed to be the longest one so I don't think 4 cours is enough. There was a lot of scraped ideas.

I’m calling it now that the new Renji fight is actually Renji vs Uryu. Renji looks somber activating Bankai, Uryu slowly drawing his bow and arrow and then saying “This world doesn’t need Soul Reapers.” His quote might not match the actual scene but it fits my head canon so I’m sticking with it 😂😂

In the case of Pernida, I think they are using the same method used in movies, utilize a dark environment to disguise the CGI. From the trailer it seems that they did it well, but we have to wait for the anime to see if this follows true for to the whole fight.

Pernida actually does appear to be CG in that shot. I guess it speaks of the quality of it that you thought it wasn’t. But I’m almost certain it is. Mixed feelings on that.
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! So they didn’t showed Mayuri’s bankai huh? And Kyoraku’s bankai will be animated for the first time. I think Cour 3 will end with Kyoraku’s fight, and Cour 4 will be Gerard, Askin, Hatchwalth and Yuha Bach.

I'm rereading Bleach once more, and this time while in the Soul Society arc, I noticed that Kubo seemed to be setting up a rematch between Zaraki and Ichigo with Zaraki expressing that desire through traveling with Orihime. He says that he thinks he'll be able to run into Ichigo again if he goes with Orihime right after sensing and commenting on Ichigo training for bankai. It would be really cool to see a versus battle between the two. It might get a little nebulous where Ichigo's true strength is concerned, but I think there's enough evidence for both parties to be fairly pitted against each other at the end of the TYBW.
That Uryu shot of him in varvhelt (how ever you spell it) might be him thinking of killing Mayuri after his fight with Pernida. Obviously he doesn’t go through with it, but this could tease his conflicting thoughts he has about the soul reapers.

i noticed that uryu was also fighting pernida alongside mayuri
for the mayuri fight while i do hope theres some post production left to do, i think it doesnt look dark to the point where you can't tell whats going on, so at worst maybe they can give it some extra lighting for home release but i dont think id mind it if they didnt

Always a good day when an analysis or live reaction video drops. Was excited to see your reactions and what new stuff you could pick out if there was any. Your dedication to peak fiction is always fun to see.
Even with all of the new content, it's amazing just how far this part is managing to get, the Kyoraku vs Lille and the Kurotsuchi vs Pernida fights are both relatively late in manga, basically being the last few big fights before the finale truly begins so it says to me that the final cour is probably going to be MOSTLY new stuff which is just getting me SO EXCITED! I can't wait to see what happens and, of course, to hear MrTommo break it all down for us! XD
Maybe the Blut in Uryu's eyes is the explaination as to how he resists Senjumaru's attack. Maybe Uryu's tapestry breaks apart, and Senjumaru is like, "How did you escape?" And he turns around and we see his eyes covered in Blut, and then he starts explaining how he did it. Then the scene of him activating Blut in Cour Two will serve as foreshadowing. But that's just a theory.
