Even if this is as far as Cradle ever steps into the realm of professional animation, I am thrilled. Goosebumps the whole time. Fantastic direction, fantastic voice work. The music and sound design, obviously everyone on board understood the assignment and cared a TON about the source material. Peak DC animated and Avatar vibes. cultivating Hope madra that this thing grows legs and gains serious studio backing.
This comment really sums up our feelings. Even if this is as far as a fully animated project makes it, we couldn't be more happy. Jay and his team genuinely put their heart and soul into this!

I became disabled at 23 because of a head injury (TBI post concussive syndrome FND). I'm not able to live normally anymore. On a whim, I downloaded audible to see if I could help with the bordem of being stuck inside all the time. The first series I found was Cradle, and from then until now (hopefully continuing), it has got me through the hardest time of my life. This trailer was perfect, exactly what I wanted, and studios would be crazy to miss out on an opportunity like this. This has the chance to be something incredible and be the next saving grace for someone else in a position like my own. Thank you to all who worked on this, and thank you, Will, for making a masterpiece! ❤

If you make Lindon less muscular and a not that tall l think it would portray just hard Lindon has to work to get to where he is supposed to get. And also on Suriel, if you could make her as majestically divine as you explained in the book 😊. Overally l love the trailerr🎉. Can't wait for the actually thing.

If this broke into the mainstream, it would be a global hit even for non-readers. It surpassed all my expectations, great animation. One can only dream of a world where fantasy works were picked up by people with studio-level money.
yeah prog fantasy/cultivation manhwa have gotten huge in recent years, and imo cradle takes the best of that genre and distills it without some of the more common distasteful aspects wish cradle was big instead of solo levelling lol
I can't tell you how satisfying it is to see Cradle getting the quality of animation it deserves. I hope that scene where Suriel shows him his possible fates, that she shows him the Monarchs like it does in the book. Can't wait to see how Northstrider looks in this.

All i can say is..... bruh mah heart. This reminded me of the first time i watched Avatar tlab as a kid. I think if we ever see a full show, it would be on par, as long as the ones behind it are passionate. Heck, after seeing this, i want to learn how to animate.
I saw this trailer when it first dropped by luck on my recommended. I'm now 20 chapters into Waybound after my hunger madra ate up the entire series. 1 month later, and this trailer hits much deeper after getting to know these characters.
When Suriel says, "There are a million paths in this world, but they can all be reduced to one....improve yourself." I genuinely got goosebumps. I really hope we see Cradle fully realised on screen someday soon.
I hope this inspires studios to get involved and make a full series. So many things that I would love to see animated. As fans we need to show our support and prove just how valuable this could be. Also can I just that Little Blue looks absolutely adorable.
i felt goosebumps gradually creeping in throughout. at the halfway point, it was insane. the montage practically gave me a seizure. my soul left my body. i died. and then suriel brought me back to life

Sh.. now I have to Audible the whole series again for the 4th time. The most of any of the many series I’ve listened to of more than 500 books. And it is not of my regular listening genre. I am not in the normal age demographics for the book audience, as I am 60 years old, but the story is extremely enjoyable and addictive.
This is absolutely how i imagined the animation to look. It looks incredible. Any partner would be dumb not to make this. It has so much potential to be one of the best animes of all time. Providing you do all twelve books and dont leave anything out. I really hope someone partners with you soon and uses their brain to see the project.

Will (can I call you Will?) this is absolutely amazing. I'm not sure if I’ve ever seen something match up so well with what I imagined while reading. That means not only was the animation (and thus planning/storyboarding/review/editing) all absolutely on point, it also means that the source material writing itself hit that perfect level of description to not be overwhelming yet remain detailed enough to paint the scene, and be memorable on top. So hats off to you, to Travis, to the animation team, and just everyone involved.

Almost finished with the first book and already can’t get enough can’t wait to get lost in this series. Just started reading your series. I swear you are such an inspiration I didn’t know people were basically writing Shonen type stories over there till I came across a video talking about cradle. Almost finished with the first book and already can’t get enough can’t wait to get lost in this series. This animation concept is great and if it get picked up I’m peddling this like crazy even if it has to be crowd funded I’m giving my money because like damn this is clean

Just to be as clear as possible since you’re a superfan who backed with your hard earned money…the 90 minute animatic that Kickstarter funded won’t be this level of animation! This is more of a proof of concept trailer!
BUT the project you helped create will be able to tell so much of the story we’re confident it will help our pitch to studios for seasons of Cradle animated at this level!

This was breathtaking. We all know how amazing this story is, and the fact that this trailer did justice to the books in 4 minutes, more than any other adaptation that came out in recent years, gets my hopes sky high. Can't wait for what comes next.
