incorrect, you don't have to see 10 move ahead, you only need to see whats their best move after you sacrificing and not missing anything. this is often happen to my btw

The brilliant move I remember doing is sacrificing a knight into a square to attack a queen with a pawn defending it, however I also forked a king and discovered attack with rook and the bishop defends the knight, no matter what move my opponent did, losing a queen was guaranteed

in order to get a brilliant, you must sacrifice your rooks, bishops, knights, pawns and your queen, with only your king left to checkmate the black king. simple enough?

Yes, you just need to force the black king to the edge, then check the king with your king, which is also checkmate since the king doesn’t have any squares to go to!

My first 2 brilliant moves were in 1 game where I sacrificed a knight to win a pawn back. Then I sacrificed my queen to force either a winning endgame or checkmate(I'm 500). I myself think these should be great moves as it sacrifices are only to get an advantage.
