This video is a little long because it is an in depth video of the whole devacut process and experience. Jess (stylist) and I answered a lot of your questions and gave hair tips.
The reason why I included the whole process is so you guys can see the way she cuts my hair and why (to achieve more volume) and also to show you how you're suppose to wash your hair to get all the moisture you need in it.
Jessica is the absolute best when it comes to curls! She knows her stuff and is overflowing with knowledge. Not to mention she genuinely is such an amazing person! You hair looks amazing and she did such a good job!!

Wow. I've been using Deva for years but clearly wasn't putting it on right. I co-washed with Shea Naturals Raw Shea Butter conditioner, then mixed that with B'Leave In (which I had never really figured out how to use), then some home-made flax gel and Deva Foam. Wow! Turned out so nice. My husband told me I have princess hair ;-)
I can't imagine being able to get out all tangles with just my fingers.

Courtney Messina when getting a devacut, you are meant to co wash your hair and air dry it before you come in, so there should be minimal shedding

I live in Florida and have super hard water which sucks because when i go to Louisiana for family they have super soft hair and my hair is SO GOOD but oml your curls are formed so flawlessly in the water my heart almost stopped!

I have a question, you've mentioned that you started your curly journey when your aunt gave you the gift of sending you to devacurl which covered everything. How much did they charge you for the haircut and the styling of the hair? I like yourself thought at first it was very expensive which is why I've never really purchased any product that is good for my hair. I have been using products that damage my hair and I'm ready to invest in my hair. I always wear it in a bun and I want to wear it naturally curly.

Stylist said it's a formation of a Deva cut. Can you elaborate?
Marc Possoff deva cut is usually dry and individual curl by curl. This method grouped curls together, and cut. First time I’ve seen a deva cut done this way. But amazing results!

Lory M yeah I was having an issue with that. It just looked like she was rinsing all the product right back out of her hair...
Lory M I guess with their products since she said silicone products work better with water, she puts a load water to help the product work into the hair 😄

I can't get over how much water she wasted while she was lathering your hair and didn't really need to leave the water hose on while she didn't need it.

I love your video of how you wash your hair, but I think we waste a lot of water your stylist, only as a recommendation you have to take care of the water, that the planet is running out
