Once the guys gets a black cooler, the black tape will be almost invisible and and the cooler will be more efficient than one without tape over the gaps.
On Lenoard's build the fans are upside down because the fan/radiator assembly is in the wrong orientation (vertical mounting the inlet/outlet should always be at the bottom to prevent pump cavitation).
@29:43 , Kyle I have the same DRAM as that guy. The red color heatsink extensions annoyed me. But I realized they can be unscrewed off. I unscrewed them off, but a $5 can of silver prime spraypaint. Spray-painted them silver so they don't stand out any more in my case.
On the second build with the UpHere fans - I think he may have been trying to get the fan cables all running the same way. Rotating the fans so the logo is upright would take the cable exit from the top left corner to the bottom right, and maybe there just wasn't the length to reach the motherboard from that position. Same with the bottom fans - the fan cables exit top left, and rotating them would put them bottom right heading towards the front of the case.
I have the same Corsair case as the first guy. First upgrade i did was get a Corsair LL140 fan for exhaust at the back because it synced well with corsairs other fans with their node core thing that came with it. Kinda wish they did the case cables a bit better because the way they were managed made it difficult to find room for the power cables. Over all nice case and looks good. 8/10 would recommend.
Love the ChromeMax kit suggestion for the Noctua NH-D14 cooler. Not terribly great looking stock, but with one of those it looks great - I have the NH-D15S with 140s and got one of these kits, based on a video he did a year or two ago - i think he had upgraded a friend or family's PC with one. Cooling is still great, and with the kit it actually looks nice (similar to the blacked out one that is currently available - I got mine before that was released). You can add color accents too (with the fan vibration dampeners at the corners) - they send 4 or 5 colors in the box. Basically caps for the fin stacks and black fans with colored corner dampeners.
For the "UpHere" build I'd guess that the cooler is mounted the way it is due to the ram; just not enough clearance. Also the color mismatch is something I've seen as well on some builds. Essentially it's a timing issue were the fans would switch out the yellow half a second before the rams.
7:08. The water cooler is installed wrong. See how the cooling lines are at the top of the radiator and the CPU block? That is where the air sits until the pump gets the coolant moving. In most cases it make a horrible whining noise. The radiator should be at the top of the case and the tubes at the bottom of the CPU. This removes the air bubble and lets your pump run smooth.
imo ,if you case has dust filters they should have the intake fans. when i get my new case the front and top will be intake threw the filters and out the back and any seams\cracks , so it keeps out the dust as best as posable . my house is 1920's and dusty AF no mater how much cleaning we do.
1:50 Quick fix for the Hyper 212 if you know your way around a rattle can : carefully mask off the entire cooler except for the top part of the top fin, and spray paint it black.
Hey Bitwit, don't wanna sound like a now it all or anything, but on the first build you recommended they bring the LED light strip to the bottom of the case and I found these holders for LED strips that evenly spread out the light. So... they could also use those.
Simpler way to get rgb strips for free, just hint an unicorn, sedate it, chain it on your basement dungeon and then cut strips of the creature's body, clean it add the wires and BAM, free Phanteks DRGB Unicorm Rainbows Strips. Remember that you should keep the unicorn alive and awake till you strip him all, it makes the strip's lights brighter.
@@ads2711 get the best you can afford. An A320 will definitely do the job. Most if not all A320 boards don't have on board WiFi, and can't overclock, but thats not too bad for an entry level system.
The Noctua Build was phenomenal! The guy who built it knew EXACTLY what he was doing!! Super clean, excellent cable management, primo components, and a GIANT middle finger with those Noctuas. Why did he get that CPU cooler??? So that he could see his Lil' Spinning Noctua surrounded by...Noctuas. SO good!

Love the channel, you are one of my favorites! Mix it! Too much knowledge to lose if you go 100% roast... But holy hell are you hilarious when you you roast... Obviously quite the chef! Lol!
08:15 I suspect there wasn't enough room between the processor and the RAM to properly fit that AIO. Look how thick the tubes are. I'm guess the fans have a similar problem with wires length.
Basically a more reasonable version of PC Gaming Setups from TechSource but it’s Bitwit. Finally someone that isn’t so dramatic and straight to the point!
22:01 another radiator that will have air at the top. You have room to flip the radiator over putting the cooling lines at the bottom. your cooling system will be quieter and last longer.
0:17 PatrioticChief5 a Phanteks Neon Digital RGB LED Strip 1m or longer, looks great in places where you want full lighting effect but is directly visible.
I switched to an external blue ray player some years ago, cleans up the inside of the PC quite a bit and not dependent on only using cases that have the mounts for a player
8:37 Bro, they obviously can't rotate it the way you told them to because it would block a DIMM slot. Exact same shit happened in my build with my NZXT Z73 (though at least with it I can rotate the display on it) Barbs up on the block isn't a bad thing. If anything, when evap happens, it means it'll take just that little bit longer before the air bubble meets the pump. The bigger problem is the radiator orientation. Given how short those hoses are, they clearly couldn't go barbs down on the rad, so the rad should just go up top instead of on the side.
1:25 Could go for individual power cables per slot there, rather than using the pigtailed method, youll get overall more power draw ability from the psu rather than sharing. It will look better too.
At 08:30 you mention the aio block turn the wrong way the rad is also the wrong way input and output to the pump from the rad is at the top meaning any air intrution is gonner end up killing the pump

How nice of u to think I can afford a pc
Bitwit: Your PCs need help
Me: **uses laptop** yeah they do
I couldn’t imagine getting upset over someone with a neard roasting my pc 😂
Profile checks out.
This removes the air bubble and lets your pump run smooth.
imo ,if you case has dust filters they should have the intake fans. when i get my new case the front and top will be intake threw the filters and out the back and any seams\cracks , so it keeps out the dust as best as posable . my house is 1920's and dusty AF no mater how much cleaning we do.
he seems so bored having to actually be nice Lmao
i was trying to read his shirt the whole vid lol
He’s being uncomfortably nice, man. This feels weird lmao
If he were to look at my pc you wouldn’t even see the parts. Because its a laptop 😂
Wow so funny u got the whole gang laughing
Kyle: "invest in some longer rgb strips for 10-15 dollars"
Me: on amazon, corsair rgb strips! For only $59.95!!!!

"Why an A320?"
Because they work pretty well and they're insanely cheap.
oh yeah do u mind if i ask u? for a ryzen 3 3200g build should i get an a320 board or b350 board
@@ads2711 get the best you can afford. An A320 will definitely do the job. Most if not all A320 boards don't have on board WiFi, and can't overclock, but thats not too bad for an entry level system.
Which conflicts with ryzen 2600. Only min spec makes sense, it's like $10-20 for way more features
@@mmonkeyman1403 but they're basically the same price so what should i get?

The Noctua Build was phenomenal! The guy who built it knew EXACTLY what he was doing!! Super clean, excellent cable management, primo components, and a GIANT middle finger with those Noctuas. Why did he get that CPU cooler??? So that he could see his Lil' Spinning Noctua surrounded by...Noctuas. SO good!
Kyle please, don't stop the roasting your setups videos :( maybe one day you can roast and the other day you can be nice. But please, we love it when you roast them becuase it's so funny and random.
Has a ridiculous amount of super powerfull full size pc's
Uses laptop
He is on Twitter bro. Using a high end pc for social media would be like killing ants with a rocket launcher
I think cable extensions are actually pretty overused especially when there are clear upgrades you could get.
I wouldn't go buying extensions unless I was happy with the performance of the system. Kyle does kind of mention that briefly. When you are trying to sell a system however they are quite important, as are LED'S! 🤷

Lmao here I just couldn’t be bothered to comment
Love the channel, you are one of my favorites! Mix it! Too much knowledge to lose if you go 100% roast... But holy hell are you hilarious when you you roast... Obviously quite the chef! Lol!
I’m sorry holy and h e double hockey sticks should be used in the same sentence like that please don’t do that bro.
08:15 I suspect there wasn't enough room between the processor and the RAM to properly fit that AIO. Look how thick the tubes are. I'm guess the fans have a similar problem with wires length.
Yeah I'm also in the same boat and had to mount my AIO sideways to keep it from pushing on the RAM. I turned off the center logo but it still bugs me
everyone saying first, get a life

That one guy that everyone hates cause he boats about being first!!! XD jk btw

I love seeing the liquid cooling builds. I've been trying to add LC to my pc but I dont trust myself to remove everything and put it back together
Enjoyed this much more than the roasts. I did not expect that going in.
I switched to an external blue ray player some years ago, cleans up the inside of the PC quite a bit and not dependent on only using cases that have the mounts for a player

Bro, they obviously can't rotate it the way you told them to because it would block a DIMM slot. Exact same shit happened in my build with my NZXT Z73 (though at least with it I can rotate the display on it)
Barbs up on the block isn't a bad thing. If anything, when evap happens, it means it'll take just that little bit longer before the air bubble meets the pump.
The bigger problem is the radiator orientation. Given how short those hoses are, they clearly couldn't go barbs down on the rad, so the rad should just go up top instead of on the side.
Video was good but keep doing the roasts. I very much enjoy your videos. Thanks
1:25 Could go for individual power cables per slot there, rather than using the pigtailed method, youll get overall more power draw ability from the psu rather than sharing. It will look better too.
old video yea but gotta point out that 17:42 Fractal Design Define R4 doesn't have a dust air filter, It only had Sound insulation panels.
I like how this is actually just Low-key roasting lol
i like these more than the roast cus it helps when matching parts together and making the system look better
At 08:30 you mention the aio block turn the wrong way the rad is also the wrong way input and output to the pump from the rad is at the top meaning any air intrution is gonner end up killing the pump
I like Both Kyle, so a good mix will be good, it's good to have some laughs every once in a while.
