If they´re able to make a stable sim I´ll be happy. One day you can fly four legs smootly and in the other it just becomes a stutter machine from nothing. My sim was smoth, and than the last mandatory updated screwed it badly. Theses things are horrible.
I had a crash today because I plugged in a headphones while flying (I forgot), that can crash the sim, but otherwise it's been stable for months and rarely crashes. Performance is great though. You should look into the AutoFS if you are struggling for performance. Around massive airports can be an issue if you don't have the building LOD set out far, but if you have a slow PC and mechanical drives, then it can get a bit hit and miss on approach to large airports. This is something I'm expecting MSFS 2024 to improve on significantly because of the efficencies in streaming data.
@@dtrjones All of these I´m aware off. The problem is that one day you fly one plane into one scenery and everything is smoth, and in the other is crappy. Really hard to understand. And yes, I hope that the multi thread stuff can makes things better as one core is 100% strugling but the overall cpu usage is only 17%.
Wow the last four years have flown by! I think a key MSFS2020 memory for me was flying around the world in the default a320, back when it was the only a320 in the sim. Starting and ending the journey in the same airport when we were all still on COVID travel restrictions felt almost like a digital vacation.
Love your videos. One of my best friends recently finished her IOE on the A320. I have watched her go from student pilot, through all her ratings, flying a few years as a bush pilot in Alaska, through a medivac pilot in Idaho, and now an airline pilot. I love her dearly and watching your video on the A319/320 reminded me of her. Funny enough when I mentioned her flying a Boeing Max, she said "I hope not, I can't do another type rating so soon".
Great video again mate. Everything you said about 2024 makes complete sense. Unfortunately due to the late release of the developer sdk it will be the more complex aircraft that will be the most delayed and the "simple" GA aircraft will be the most likely to be fully developed for release. It is pointing more and more to a delayed release as we get closer and closer to the date. Have fun.
Time will tell, I'm thinking the launch will go on time. It will just be missing something items, what ever they maybe. See what happens Have a great weekend capt.
@@AusFlightSimmer It would be marketing suicide if they released 2024 with no third party tubeliners or under performing third party tubeliners. It's a worry lol
Despite how pointless it is, yes. Really needs a PC hooked up to HOTAS (and ideally VR) to be worth calling a sim. Consoles suck for this sort of thing.
I just fear that MSFS 2024 will be as broken as 2020 was at the beginning. Well good think i can not play until eraly 2025 anyways so i can hold off on buing it and see if sticking to 2020 for a while is a better plan
It's been 4 years and 2020 still has issues. Think I'm going to personally backtrack to sims that don't rely on live service with updates I don't want now. Personally, I don't have faith that asobo can make 24 worth it overall. Seems more like a money grab at Microsoft's behest, especially since they can shut 2020 down any time they want (even though people say "they said this, they said that"... They said a lot of stuff that didn't happen and is now being put behind a paywall of a new game)
im pretty sure any aircraft bought on the msfs store and also externally (fenix and if you did PMDG) should carry over from what I have heard or they won't carry over just yet if in somecase they are not 2024 compatible just yet
@@FluffScripts lol, I did actually think Microsoft store, its where i got the 2020, but steam might have a discount. Although the videos i have seen make it seem like Microsoft version is more compatible with addons and stuff.
I made the comment knowing of Microsoft's habit of making statements then not following through as advertised. Nothing to get in a twist about. Happy flying.
@@dtrjonesI would expect them to NOT use those aircraft as advertising to sell a new game, or hype a new game (which isn't new, it's still 2020 with a few enhancements) only to not have them there when it releases. Maybe broaden your horizons? There's a whole world out there that is not the US. I prefer flying in Europe. Cities don't all look the same and they are closer together.
There's a huge amount of planes anyway, it really doesn't matter a great deal. The fuss folks make when plane doesn't do what it's supposed to, it's simply not worth Microsoft releasing these to the public if they are broken, so it's the right call.
@@dtrjones - of course it is the right call. I agree with you on that. But.. 2020 is a mesh of broken promises, and they should attempt to be a bit more professional and not flash more than what is eventually becoming a reality.

Aus Simmer with a British intro 👍
Nah, just an aviation intro.
Of course we'll be missing planes - It's Microsoft!!

Will the planes I own in the current simulator transfer to the new simulator because I may lose more than $200? 😂

SU16 has been postponed, not canx.
Depending the perspective.
will we see another msfs2024 trailer at gamecon?
I don't think so, it will be a world update trailer instead.
Should I get the new sim on Microsoft Store or Steam?
Steam

Microsoft store

Kommt das Sim Update den jetzt oder habe ich da jetzt was falsch verstanden???
Sim update 16 has been canceled for this year.
@@AusFlightSimmer What about the 707-320 that was delayed and supposed to release in SU16
Still waiting for the 757 😭
I wait also of the Boeing 757 for the MSFS there already since many months of the Boeing 757 must come by MSFS.
I stopped buying anything until MS2024 is released....
Yes MSFS 2024 on 19 November 2024 Released.
That’s crazy that’s impossible for me
Y’all gonna wait until yall die for any real updates to this game or any of the planes they claim will come but really won’t
You sound frustrated, go touch some grass.
Ok
Not yet released and already back-pedaling. Not buying this one until it gets on special for $19.99. Its microsoft after all.
Microsoft being.....microsoft.😂
Really? Holding back planes which are not ready is an issue for you? What do expect them to do, release the planes broken?
