Graphics are way better than i thought, Hoping the physics will improve
Yeah they mentioned the physics improved a lot in 2024
I heard the weather is much more realistic/violent
I heard it got 5x more detailed flight physics👀
hope you will get a brand new monster graphics card for mfs 24
I saw some physics on the 737MAX it looks amazing It seems it’s a whole new flight model.
From my experience with Pre Purchasing MSFS 2020, instead of buying the Deluxe or higher packages, just buy the standard and use the money saved to Cherry Pick your fav aircraft from Payware sites and the in game Market Place as we move forward. Really looking forward to this. Thanks Shane.
I disagree, but this is my personal opinion. It's not about what you get on initial purchase, there might be a lot of things in a Deluxe version that you (now) dont want or need but some things were updated and only available for the Deluxe version. It's a 1 time investment.
Yeah ngl that might be the worst take ive seen.
The better versions just aged better, you could NOT get some really great addons unless you had premium.
And really, if you care about £50 either way you aint buying PMDG addons anyway.
I disagree because good pay ware planes are already €60 or above and if you don’t have the premium edition or above a lot of add ons don’t work.
Exacty. Standard should be fine unless you disagree because you are an Xbox user who loves flying INOP random aircraft instead of picking ONE 3rd level study aircraft and learning the POH by heart.
What are u guys on about addons? I got the standard for 2020 and used heaps of addons no problem. The only ones i cant use is like addons and mods for deluxe aircrafts….but why use asobos deluxe when you got pmdg and fenix?
Pre order a digital purchase.... why? Are they going to run out of copies? Let's see how buggy it is first.
The only sane person in this section.
yes, why if there is not a gift, and the gift for a plane in MSFS 2020 is no here
Lol. Msfs was buggy after each WU 😂.
Do NOT PREORDER ANYTHING.
Why? I can’t see any drawbacks. They aren’t going to go bankrupt.
Not sure if this is where he was going, but...
Preordering encourages/enables companies to release products that shouldn't be released yet, are unfinished, are buggy, etc.
@@SoullessPolack that’s early access not pre order
Early access or pre order, it don't matter. Both are stupid. Just look at the meaning of the words. Wth does it mean to order before anyways? Nah, i am sticking to the wait 6 years after it's released and proven. I ain't no damn investor and neither should you be.
Do not preorder anything.
Looking forward to flying the C-17
Rip wallet.
Honestly, the Standard Edition has everything you need. Thats a TON of value. If youre heavily invested in 3rd party add ons like PMDG or DC Designs, the Standard looks like it already adds more variety and a lot of options. I honestly just hope the revamped Asobo 747-8F has fully functional nose door and better engine samples. Im in!
The only reason I see to go above standard is if your favourite aircraft are part of it, making it cheaper than buying them individually. Standard offers more than enough for me.
I'm not paying for more than the standard edition because Microsoft can turn off the servers any time they want making it worthless. You're only borrowing it. Eventually, you will be left with nothing.
@@Elwaves2925 There are several aircraft I want in the premium deluxe version tbh. if not I would have happily stuck with gamepass version.
I think for 99% of people the standard version is more than enough, especially if people want to stick to one plane to learn fully.
@@Dreadpirateflappy Yeah, I do too. I mean, didn't MSFS 2020 launch with 10 aircraft in the standard version, IIRC? Then an extra 5 each as you went up a version. Now we're getting props, jets, helis, gliders, balloons and more.
I've wondered if the other aircraft will be available to buy individually at some point later. Not just as a version upgrade. That would make sense to me.
Honestly, it's a really good value for the aviator's edition. That's a lot of aircraft and I have only bought a couple before. It's quite a bit upfront for a game, no doubt, but I'm interested in supporting the sim as well.
Agreed- I went for aviator edition. Lots of airplanes.
I have already ordered it, but 280€ hurts a lot...
@@DTrackful heck yeah 👍
@@Smalltownflyer nice, I'm doing it too
I like the supporter attitude 👍
Just bought the CE, I already have 3000 hours in MSFS so... no brainer really. Plus, I love aviation!
I'm considering the Collectors Edition myself. I was at first debating between the premium deluxe or the Aviators edition, but after hearing about the collectors edition, I may go with that one instead.
Really looking forward to the SAAB 340
Me too, I like it from RFS
Why pre-order? What’s the point? It makes sense for hardware to make sure you get it with the first batch. But software? Pointless.
The only big advantage would be for pre-installing but apparently 2024 is under 30Gb so even that isn't really a factor.
@@Elwaves2925 Busy servers potential on launch day could be an issue is the on thing I can think of
@@oldskoolloner Yes, busy servers will be issue (it's Microsoft) but at least with 30Gb it's much less of a wait. Imagine if it was the full thing at 150-200Gb.
We got MSFS 2024 before flybywires A380 💀💀
We got MSFS 2024 before gta6 💀
@@no_name787-fs3yk GTA 6 before FBW A380?
A few years ago, I was content with Asobo’s stock offerings. However, after having purchased ever more complex aircraft, I can’t go back. The stock planes are so hollowed out. As long as you’re not grossly over speeding the aircraft, they can’t be made to fail, and don’t demand much, if any attention to various systems. For that reason, I’ll just stick with the barebones edition.
That's us remortgage and eating toast n beans then .✈️🛩️
ha the wife won’t be too happy 😂
Excellent news I've just pre-ordered my flight sim 2024 so I'll be on the ramen noodles for the next 2 weeks
Weakling
and di you have the extrea gifted plane for msfs 2020? i'm still waiting mine
I need the full list of airports please. I need to know if my favorite airports are included in the standard or not. What are the list of extra airports for the deluxe and premium version?
Exactly, I was waiting for that list as well. I was told they will release it soon before Steam Pre order date. But my guess is that, you’ll have big ones like JFK, DXB in Premium Deluxe or Deluxe.
ruclips.net/video/k55v3e70NCA/видео.htmlsi=UCvJWBzC1oblmCnO at the end there is the aircraft list for each version. Just pause right at the end :)
Basically PD gets you the C17 and dreamlifter.
@@celsteer941Yeah, we are informed about the “airplanes” but not about “airports”. Like what are the additional airports that were added.
It's insane, isn't it? Asking all this money with no guides or lists. Just begging for blind purchasers to excitedly click "Check-out" on the aviator edition in their carts lol.
I am a bit disappointed that there is no list of airports anywhere. I only ever fly a handful of aircraft (mostly airliners) and would be far more interested in what airports I get for the extra money. I hope they will release a list before launch.
I was thinking about getting some of those physical copies, but the fact that you have to wait to get it and the ridiculous price turned me away.
Thank you for giving the Australian prices. Think i'll get MSFS 2024 on Steam again, as I had no issues with it on there previously. Premium deluxe is in my sights, for the extra helicopters.
I bought the most expensive before, this time I go for the basic. Those few airports are not worthy and the default planes I never use anyway
same
Aerosoft have confirmed Limited Collector's Edition will be dispatched BEFORE the 19th November, so it arrives in time for release day
I just want reverse thrust to always work and the game to not lag right before my md 80 wheels hit the runway
Insane graphics! So hyped for this epic experience.
I wish they'd pay more attention to ATC and hope that updates aren't far off. They should definitely give you credit for "native payware" a/c already purchased if you go with the Aviator's Edition--why punish your loyal customers?! Related to that, they should give a discount for MSFS 2020 customers, as this is only an upgrade to that program--more evolutionary than revolutionary. At least all existing 2020-compatible native and add-on a/c should (had damn well better!) work in 2024.
Re pre-ordering, I don't see any advantage unless they offer a lower price for doing so. Who cares if you only get early access to one add-on a/c that you probably can't fully utilize anyway (does 2020 support water scooping/dropping--and of course there are no fires modelled to put out--maybe a volcano--would it make steam)?
Yeah $199.99 might seem like alot upfront but alot of folks will b spending way more over life of game. For me ill be getting aviator edition and finally invest in hardware
Yeah but you also have to remember that many of the 3rd party Airports and Aircraft we would probably buy is already included so I feel like it's more of a bargain considering how much they listened to our feedback and out sources content from many parties and also the countless work ASXGS has done to make this a simulator So ask yourself what are u getting for that money.
Thanks Shane for the update, I will be purchasing the Premium Deluxe Edition when it comes available. The excitement is building.
Aviator all the way 👨🏻✈️✈️
Shii that's expensive 😲
@@Fscaptainalex people would buy aviator even if Asobo would sell them a hot rock covered in cat pee. Don't prebuy anything until you confirm everything is working as it is should. Unless you have forgotten the unstable nightmare that was 2020 in its first 3+ years.
i have already those aircraft the ones i wanted, so premium deluxe for me.
I’m flying my MD-11 atm and watching this on the 2nd screen, hearing how expensive the editions have become compared to 2020. I accidentally pressed the A/P Disconnect switch 😮prepare for a dent in the wallet in next weeks pay. Luckily I’ve done a lot of overtime 🤟🏻 great video as always mate!
Great video. I’m thinking the Premium Deluxe version or the Standard thru Game Pass and adding on after that. Gotta see which is more financially beneficial. The collectors edition looks great but the price is a bit steep, especially if you’re as cheap as I am! Lol!! I just hope it performs better than the 2020 has been of late.
Premium Deluxe is the way to go...... MSFS don't get rid of slew or Ctrl E mode thanks
This brings up a point! One of the statements made was you would likely be able to port over your 2020 aircraft. Now we see many of the aircraft we already purchased in the premium deluxe version of 2020 is part of the same version of 2024 requiring an additional purchase to use the aircraft we already purchased? What about the derivatives addons like the Kujo or the HorizonSim 787, will they work? If not that's their decision, but then don't make statements that 2020 aircraft can be ported over to 2024,. Or is it, you can port your 2020 aircraft over, except our own unless you pay again to use it!!
I don't think you're right even if I can't be 100% sure. Every airplane you have from the previous version will work and be updated to stay compatible with 2024. That's why I think these more expensive versions are only interesting for those who bought the standard version of 2020.
Standard for me, Normally fly 3rd Party, which I likely will pick up later.
I wish they would just build the sim, and stay away from all the bloatware. (which i just remove anyway), base case for me, rather spend my money on the quality add-ons
The first thing I hope is I can actually taxi a tricycle gear plane properly and not have the nosewheel stuck in the forward position! Anybody else have that problem with 2020?
huh? no, explain
@wout123100 idk if you know this but, a lot, almost all planes with basic tricycle landing gear configuration cannot turn their front wheels especially when you start on the ground. But when you start in the Air it suddenly works. It's a weird stupid glitch that Asobo never cares to address
Nov19
Damn that’s a long wait 😅
Let's see how many bugs turn up first. Will not be buying this if they still have that crap ATC in it.
@@robh7671Get BeyondATC they have traffic now too 😁
I hear if you purchase the Aviator edition you get a real pilots licence? can anyone confirm this?
As long as you spend 1000 hours in each of the included aircraft... LoL..
Yes for sure it makes sense
02:48
Tail number N65805 is really a *CESSNA T182 Turbo Skylane (piston-single) (C82S)* but here in this video it is a *Cessna Skyhawk (piston-single) (C172)*
So keen for the sim and been hanging out for you video
I pre ordered once in 2015 - never again, given FS24 is a follow on from FS20 it will no doubt also have issues at the start. Three months of reviews will be needed to see whether the crazy upgrade prices from FS20 are worth it. So far it isn't for me given nearly 50% is re parceled FS20 AC the reviews and forums will tell whether the flight modelling has improved because as of now it is still very average compared to other FLIGHT simulators.
I'm gonna wait for launch reviews. But as the probability of me flying a 3rdparty aircraft is 98% I'll probably be happy with Standard...
First month on GamePass for me, then I'll get standard if the performance is okay. I don't need all the extra aircraft of the other editions and standard already offers a lot. I'll follow James May's advice and keep it "standard." 🙂
WARNING: never, EVER pre-buy/first buy ANY software !!! QC has been offloaded to the purchaser more and more since the internet became mainstream to the point that today, you 100% WILL be bug fighting if you purchase early or in the first months after launch. Do you really want to have your initial experience destroyed as you wait for 'the usual' patches?!
Does it have working windshield wipers?
I don’t want to buy what type until ik which one might have a350 available
others have said this already but i would preorder the basic edition if i really wanted to, then buy the upgrade to whatever edition i would like once ive played a little
Can you prepare a full spreadsheet with all the aircraft?
😂 You asking him to do it? You might try doing it yourself. Sounds like a fun Excel project.
Is there any early access for pre-orders or we have to wait till release date?
No early access for pre orders, only a hand full of content creators and media groups got to play it early.
why have physical copies? If you cant download it over your internet connection, then you sure as hell wont be able to play it online...
People love collecting physical items
Physical items and the box. I have every msfs box since 98, i'm not missing out on this one... it's still a digital copy in the box.
@@Dreadpirateflappy But every time you re install you have to apply multiple updates, vs online you download the current version. Disk version makes no sense on multiple levels.
Version 2020 still bugs like weather radar.
The price for the Aviator version is outrageous.
Once every 4 years the price of an average game every year?
Unfortunately the bugs cannot be fixed. The data limitations were making it so if something is fixed, something else breaks.
Why is the Aviator price outrageous? You get a metric fuckton of payware aircraft.
@@NavidIsANoob indeed its a good price i say, it just a ton of ignorant people always in these comments.
get a job and 200$ won't look as outrageous anymore. By the way just buy Standard edition at a ridiculous price. Or stay with 2020 and become a retard like XPlane simmers were since august 2020
@@NavidIsANoob it’s actually pretty reasonable. 30 payware aircraft that would cost a lot more than that added 70$.
Fantastic video shane. I would like to know what your version you would be getting
No pre order for me. just bought the fenix 320's
I really really really hope that they get their act together and don’t make this game crash and freeze over the most little things. I spent 3k on a dream pc to play FS2020, still having slight problems. I really hope they fix em all
I had to ragequit FS2020 because of how performance steadily degraded the longer you played. Made landings impossible, even eventually crashing to desktop upon arrival at other destinations. Made flying needlessly painful. I hope they weeded out these issues in 2024. I'm going to purchase whatever allows me to get the Dreamliner, Chinook, etc. Uninstalled FS2020 hoping 2024 shall be MUCH better.
What are your pc specs and bios/windows setting? Search for optimalisation windows for gaming and your mothercard/memory etc.
I use x plane lmao and probs won't buy 2024. I just hate the Physics in fs2020 so much and the graphics don't look that good imo.
@@ArcticuKitsu yeah dude, tell me about it, they make simming 90 times frustrating then it should be. This has happened to me multiple times
@@AviationFun737 I agree, looking to switch to X plane, but I already have quite a bit of DLCS over on MSFS since I’ve been playing since launch on and off
for the Aviators Edition which i have my eyes on. You bring up a great point that you may just be paying a second time for the 30 Asobo/Microsoft Payware DLC aircraft. I assume they are the MSFS2020 Local Legends and Famous Flyer DLC's. I'de hope that the Payware aircraft included would be updated to fit the MSFS2024 physics and included features such as the standard tablet, walk around, ware and tare and all.
The biggest problem that I see here is that you cannot order the collectors edition as that is MS APP store only sadly; won't include the Steam version; so you will be stuck outside Steam if you preorder that version.
I'm still waiting to play FS2020 premium for all the updates to be done, got over 120 hours of updating logged waiting for the first time experience to be perfect. Got the Honey comb yoke, pedals, Honeycomb Four Quadrant throttles. Now before I can play it they come out with a new version, Wonder how many years it will be before all of it's updates to working perfect??
As so many folks have added payware aiports and aircraft, I think the standard will do the job. cheers
Thank you for the presentation.... Very informative... Roger... Pembrokeshire
Why is your ground all washed out? I saw that with somebody else's video. Looks good though.
Standard Version is definitely the way to go Shane 👍
I’ll buy Aviator! Screw it ! Let’s see what can we import from this one to fsx 😅
Premium Deluxe is already purchased. 😁
When do you get the CL-415?
How do you purchase it now?
Snap. Premium deluxe is a no brainier. Pre ordered the moment it went live
People like this are why it's become the norm to get unfinished products on launch date.
@@Largetalons ….nope. I wont buy pre order aircraft etc. Dealing with MSFS is a bit different.
I'm so sad they decided not to have the Ultra Fantastic Kingdom Spacial Edition, I always wanted to make Bill Gates even richer...
What’s your problem 😂
give me two good reasons WHY would I want to preorder a digital copy??
Just one : Asobo's cash flow improvement.
As much as I'd very almost make an exception for FS24, I don't think we should pre-order games at all in 2024.
Originally it was so you would have a physical copy available to pick up on launch day.
Now it is just a way of companies to take revenue prior to release, and is a disincentive to release a more polished product.
Here's a tip: Don't ever pre order games. Wait until the game is actually released, until there are reviews and community consensus. Maybe wait for the first post launch sale.
I don’t think anyone needed that tip. 90% of the comments on this video say the same thing.
I got the collectors edition!
I wouldn't recommend to preorder because it will take month until the biggest bugs are fixed.
All Microsoft game releases are full of bugs and so will FS24, there is no exception.
Definitely agree NEVER to pre/first buy any software - QC has been offloaded to the purchaser more and more since the internet became mainstream to the point that today, you 100% WILL be bug fighting if you purchase early or in the first months after launch.
makes it only more exciting , fly around the bugs, yay..but yes wait if you cannot handle it.
I'll buy the one I can afford at this time, standard one. Need to wait then.
I'm in NO RUSH to purchase let alone pre-purchase! Wait for release, let everyone else beta test for a while and then when people stop complaining that it's broken I might dive in! 🤣
It's likely we'll all get MSFS 2024 Beta Testers Edition just like last time. Game Pass tryout for me this time.
There is going to be an a321LR, right?
Yup
I will get premium deluxe with game pass discount
I'm saving rn to be able to buy The Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Limited Collector’s Edition next year prob
Just want a stable well optimised game.
nah I think I've learnt my lesson pre-ordering games
preorder 2 months before release? are you crazy? Im gonna buy this maybe after release and after some true reviews. And since they didnt delivered many features in msfs 2020 im not gonna buy any premium, just basic one.
Hello, considering the prices it's really sad that microsoft doesn't offer an upgrade from MSFS 2020, because I bought the full 40TH anniversary version 6 months ago plus a bunch of planes and airports. so it seems very expensive to me the Deluxe premium pack to have almost all the same planes. And, I just ended up ordering, but I can't find the famous extra plane for MFSF2020 that is supposedly added when you pre-order. Any idea how to get it in my MSFS 2020?
It's phenomenal
I don't understand why people pre-order games, it's just plain stupid and a waste of money but then again people can use their money as they wish.
Will all my planes from the premium deluxe 2020 package automatically transfer to 2024 even if I buy standard?
no
Yes bro
I am waiting till 26.09. to get the Steam-Version since I am familiar with how to mod this one through the Community Folder from FS2020
I tried MSFS 2020 on a gameplay when got my pc. Right before I was about to buy 2020 they released the 2024 trailer so I decided to wait for it to come out. I have DCS through eagle dynamics and not steam. I have been debating getting 2024 through steam. Are there any drawbacks to having this Sim on steam vs Microsoft store? Thank you.
@@Bulldog0086 Not as far as I used it by now. The only thing I could think of is that maybe:
1. You don't get a Version for Xbox at the same time (remember, that when you buy a Microsoft-Game at least in the past you got Xbox and Windows version together so you didn't have to buy the console-verison but I am not sure if that is true for FS2024 as well and I don't know if that is only for Microsoft Store games or also Steam Games)
2. You don't get the "Xbox Gamepass Discount" on the Steam Version but only the MS-Store version, if you have Gamepass on PC
BUT, there are also quite a few positives for the Steam Version:
1. You get a better launcher (at least most people would say that though the Xbox-App is improving fortunately)
2. Most Modding-Tutorials are for the Steam-Version first and only some have optional instructions for the MS-Store Version
I expect FS2024 to be the same in these aspects so that's why I wait for Steam. I find it simpler for Modding (though it is also totally possible to do that with the MS-Store Version) and I simply have more games on Steam which means it will update more often in the Background
I'm hoping there is a Dash - 8 in there somewhere
Same. I can't wait for more Canadian pride aircraft. A Dash-8 would be awesome, even if it's third party and payware. I would purchase it, but only if FS2024 works as it should, something FS2020 refused to do. Give me more Canadian planes! ;)
@@ArcticuKitsu i would really like the Q400 with something like porter or air canada express
Real question is if any of these new aircraft or the ones in the higher packages like the Aviators, if they have persistence/wear and tear etc, aka A2A style, if so its a no brainer (looks like its built in now)
. And also figuring out if the higher level packages have aircraft already purchased (says 2021 to 2024 aircraft)
i only am getting 2024 because of mt, hopefully vatsim will have support from the get go
So basicly i need to buy prenium deluxe AGAIN? I litterlaly already have it for msfs2020 and is this a whole new game i need to install or what? Cus if it is im gonna go crazy
Of course. It’s the same as purchasing ANY sequel. This has never been a addon to 2020 but the next game in the series.
I fail to see why this is shocking or a surprise. It’s the same timeframe and series progression that we have had with flight sim since 94. The ONLY time we had a big break between additions was FSX. THAT was a Anomaly and certainly not the norm.
They're not forcing you to buy FS2024.
you can keep on playing on fs2020 fopr a long time.
So if I bought the premium deluxe edition on 2020 but get the standard 24, will I lose my citation longitude and 787? Like they're not new but are new
I don’t really understand the whole pre order thing! I would rather keep my money for 2 months, I doubt it’s cheaper to pre order? And if the default aircraft are asobo builds it will be very disappointing.
But the graphics look great, will more than likely buy a couple months after all the hype
What’s the point of waiting if you’re gonna purchase anyway. You’re not saving any money, you can’t spend the money in your account as it’s already allocated to MSFS, you’re not gonna make any interest on the money as the amount is negligible. So I don’t see the argument in not pre ordering something you know you’re gonna purchase regardless.
Now IF the program in question is getting dubious previews or you’re not sure if you want it, sure save the money for now. But otherwise. What do you gain by not pre purchasing
If you’d just speak normally instead of putting on the staccato thing, you’d be my favourite simming channel. Please. Nice video.
thought the A380 from flybywire was included as a default aircraft..must have missed something.
not a miss but a fake news
I have already bought all the LL and FF aircraft I want, so I think I'll just stick with the Premium Deluxe.
In my opinion, I don't care what's include in the different game versions, I only care 3rd-party devs and add-ons, what will they do after 2024 release
Will you get the premium deluxe? ill probably get that
Premium Deluxe for me. I cannot live without my Longitude and SR22, plus the PC24 will be highly desireable! Anyone who could afford this level should.....look at what spending money on this sim has brought us!
If you're gonna pre-order ANYTHING ON THIS EARTH, which you SHOULDN'T, but IF YOU REEALLYYYY want to, gather enough money for the ultra amazingg super special double decker deluxe premium whatever it's called, then say eff that, and order the standard version, and use all that extra money to buy the aircraft you want from the in game store that will no doubt have the exact same aircraft that the amazing ultra super special double decker premium deluxe version of the game has as standalone aircraft...
I would purchase the entire package, but I won't pre-order it.
You don't need to buy any pre order, these will be the same as after the release
Will my premium deluxe package move across along with my purchased aircraft?
nope, purchased aircraft via mp yes.
Can you not purchase a lower tier version and then just buy the upgraded one some time later?
You could last time.
Pre ordered the Aviator, but didn’t get the bonus aircraft on Xbox
Probably picking up Deluxe to start with. Im sure youll be able to upgrade later anyways. 95% of the time nowadays im flying external payware anyways aka PMDG and Fenix
Upgrades are crazy expensive, learned that the hard way with 2020. Best to buy the top one you want from the start.
Since my region has really cheap gamepass, I'm just gonna get it there "for free" and then decide if I want to upgrade to the premium deluxe after. Unless you're getting some limited collectors edition which actually has limited stocks available, I would not preorder it at all.
None. Remember, no preorders.
This.
Very wise.
To be honest, there’s not much that they can screw up at this point
Why?
