Woot Woot, hes back! Epic intro man, that was some sick air. This is a really awesome build dude, well thought out and looks like it turned out amazing.
The power wagon. 132mm I think axle to axle. If it’s not a pure fit I can tinker with the best of em and am not worried about needing a few extra parts.
Fair enough, this vehicle is built on the FCX24m platform, which is different to the FCX24 Power Wagon. The "m" version is smaller and has a ton of compatibility with the SCX24, the transmission/skid bolts right up with no mods! The original FCX24 Power Wagon won't bolt straight up.
@@havikhobbies good to know but I am willing to give it a go....looking forward to the challenge and if it becomes too much I will "have" to buy a fcx24m, my wife will understand....sorta LOL
@@havikhobbies No worries bud, I've built an SCX24 crawling oriented version, yours looks like it's more fun than mine. I have a question about the front links...... are they a couple of mm longer than the SCX24 front links? I'm only going from memory (as I don't have mine to hand) but your front wheels look so much better in relation to your arches👍
@tomwright943 This truck has about the same wheelbase as an SCX24 C10 but the front and rear links look about equal length where as the C10 has shorter links up front. So yes the front axle does end up pushed forward slightly.
@@havikhobbies that's awesome, thanks for the reply, I'm seriously considering doing similar to what you have done there, thanks for the inspiration too👍
Nice rig there. The tires do look good for it. I have a built from scratch MB18. Cedar and Stellar. It's very fast but it will crawl, creep even, no cogging, but is built too low to compete on the hard lines.
@@shockman8014 Thanks! Sounds like an awesome rig you have built, I bet its a beast out on the rocks! Would be cool if you build it with a two speed transmission for high speed shenanigans! Thanks for your comment 👍
@@shawnrichardson118 No worries mate! I have two of these little motors now running off the Dinky RC D-Drive Micro Sport 25amp ESC's and while there is definitely better motors out there this is the only one that I know of that directly replaces a brushed 050 motor! Thanks for your comment!

Thanks Durp, it's been a fun build and it's even more fun to drive! Thanks for hanging out mate!
Great Build idea, thanks for sharing it. Keep up the great work.

Oh. My. Gosh. I have an FCX24 I wanted to do something with and I now have my next project...YES!
@@joepilimai4604 Which FCX24m did you go with? They come in a few wheelbases and may not be a straight swap like this was! Thanks for watching!

Very cool I was waiting to see somebody else do this haha I like your brushless set up I might upgrade mine with one of them
Thanks mate! It's a super fun truck, it's pretty fast for a 24!
