I’ve been toying with getting this kit for my scx24. It is a really neat kit and it comes with so much for the price. I subbed to your channel. Keep up the good work!
Awesome vid my dude. And yea they’re cheap and affordable and it comes with a ton of stuff!! Lcg carbon chassis, cage, body, and lights!! Yea this kit is meant to swap over your existing stuff including the center skid plate for your transmission and motor. Even the meus ripper for scx24 or scx24 is the same. You provide your own center skid. Also if I remember right the instructions say to use magnets or Velcro right where you mounted your magnet. But I see you moved it forward and that’s a great idea for that forward battery weight 👍🏻
Is that battery plate rubbing on where the drive shaft is connected to the transfer case? at 20:09 it looks flexed upwards on the right side from touching the drive shaft. I ask because I printed this and trimmed it like you did but its rubbing on the drive shaft.
@ Awesome. Thank you for the response. Your build looks great. I’ve really been considering this chassis/body. The battery placement issue might very well be worth the trouble, it looks so good.
yep having fun with the batt location... however mine has a injora esc/fat viper combo... do that and then start complaining about space. I do like what you did with your battery mod tho' Fat viper on 3S rocks... slow crawl and tons of wheel speed.
thank you for suggesting the battery relocater. I had no idea there was such a part, solved my problem before I ran into it. also it fit perfect
Great video! I’ll make sure I’ll start putting drivers in my rigs 😂 lol. Need to build one of these.
@@Utahrcguy not sure why, but no driver always makes me feel like it's not complete
@ I agree, does look way better with a driver!
Nice! It looks great.
I put together a Meus LCG chassis, and it was a pita... so i imagine this one you did was even more of a pita.

@@MidwestRCcrawler Thank you so much! It definitely was the most challenging build.

@JamesDirtRC awww, thanks bro! 🙂
I have the same kit... but no funds for parts :( Blowing all my cash on an Ultra24 build right now. You done did good! Subbed, liked, yada yada.

@ntcoolstrybrahsfrend it rubs a little but I figure as long as it's not binding it will be ok.
Thanks man that helps a lot!
I actually fit a 180 motor in my build .

The servo mount sets the servo back a bit farther than stock .
Great video. Does that body “feel” top heavy when crawling?
@@TexAg09 not really, I was worried about that too. But it's really decent

@TexAg09 thanks bro! Do you 3D print? The forward battery tray is on Thingiverse
A FMS/FCX24 Battery fits on the slider perfectly with Velcro .

Love my FUNHAVERS
It's based off of a ford bronco not a chevy
@pacarguy9722 I know, that's why I said style. I love all those older boxy style SUV's and square bodies too.
