I love the previous Marvel Voices Asian Heritage issue.
Some people say that the diversity is forced in comics like Marvel and other publisher. But being an Asian (Indonesian to be exact) myself, it's pretty nice to see Marvel Asian characters are written with such care and relatable stories. And it's great to see the spotlight for many talented Asian comic creators too. Gotta love them. I hope they get to tell bigger stories for Marvel.

Yes to this degree. Have you never read “Giant Size X-Men #1”? Hundreds of examples to pick from, but there’s a super easy one.
This comic will do well. Not with white male bigots, but with the groups it depicts. It is saying, “We see you”. This is like the 8th or so issue in this line. If they were not successful, they would have stopped.
Art, good art, is about having a message. This has that.

I just read it. The stories were definitely awesome, but I was also hoping they'd make something for Luna Snow, Wave and Aero since they were mostly being teased in this comic before this got released, but none.
Seriously, Wave is one of the most coolest but also most underrated asian Marvel superheroes out there. She deserves her own series.

I like what they are doing with the Voices series. I hope they put them in a Trade at some point though, I just vastly prefer reading comics in an actual book rather then flimsy loose single issues.
They are assembling the first Voices books into a Trade I think for release later this year. I know I'm going to grab it.
Then they wouldn't be able to sell you more comics.

Actually there are several southeast asian heroes in Marvel, Wave (Philippines), War Tiger (Thailand), Blue Dragon (Vietnam) and Fire Bird (Malaysia)

Amazing lineup! I love that these are now annual events, and I hope it not only keeps going but further influences the comics beyond these events. I wish Nico Minoru and Jennifer Takeda were in this issue (Nico at least got some cover stuff in the prior one), but that's not a detriment to the book beyond simple wishing. Maybe next year.
