I'm a newer mourning gecko breeder and I recognize the aquarium store! It is absolutely the best one in the area and I go there to get supplies and sell babies once they are old enough. Their setups are amazing and their animals are very well cared for. The staff there is wonderful and made the first time easy despite the anxiety I was having. It was so bittersweet saying goodbye to my first set of babies and I think about them all the time. Sometimes I wish I had kept the very first hatchling.. but three mamas is plenty for me, lol.
Lol I'm from Thailand and there are so so many of those. Like there are hundreds in my house. There are a lot of mosquitoes and flies... it's almost like a buffet for them. Sometimes they fall from ceiling on your head. Some people are dead scared of them. Lol and look at him trying to catch those girls. Like 😍🤗 🦎 kissy kissy boo boo 😘 💕. I also find them cute and useful like get those mosquitoes, girls 🤠. We just love the way Chris adores his pets.
lol i named my baby corn snake that except i changed it up a bit to judini, the day we got him he hid so well in his old terrarium that we started searching around thinking he escaped while he was just there vibing

I got my three babies for $100 ( I had to do some convincing to get them down to $100, but I bought all of the mourning geckos they had ). Their names are Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy. I can actually tell them apart, but once they have babies.... that's a different story. Lol. I love my little girls and can not wait for eggs to start popping up hopefully some time in November!

Yeah they kinda look like the little geckos that get in my house here in Okinawa. We try to save them when they run into the house but they're super fast! They make a cute chirping sounds and I love them.
Every now and then, a few of them will dash out from under my sofa, or from behind a painting in my house. Love these little guys, they help to keep the bug population under control!

They’re both invasive species but they don’t seem to be causing ecological harm like other invasives (like brown anoles, for example). They’re cute. They’re about the size of these little mourning geckos and it’s common to find them in houses. But you usually find them on the outside of windows, glass doors, or around porch lights at night. They know those are good places to catch bugs with lots of little cracks and ledges to wedge themselves in to if a bigger predator shows up. We used to catch them when I was a kid and get them to walk upside down or sideways on our hands before they jumped off. Or we’d catch them in glass jars and look at their little toe pads before releasing them again and asking them to please eat many mosquitoes, lol.
We can’t keep lizards as pets in our community..but our garden is full of them and we have had the same one in our patio for 4 years..I’ve got expert at catching them in the house..
I wish I had a fish store like that near me. There’s only one in my city and they have very few freshwater fish. They specialize in saltwater tanks. There’s also no stores at all here that sell reptiles or amphibians besides Petsmart or Petco. The nearest major city that might have decent fish and reptile stores is a 4-hour drive away.
That tail movement is communication between the geckos, they will also begin to click a lot too as they sort out their hierarchy. Hopefully they are not hunting each other tho O_O
Why does Pangea look like the lizards I find here at home... y'know, the ones on the ceiling? The pattern looks different but I can't help but think it's the same.
Watch out for those scaber isopods; they will eat eggs if they get half a chance. I've found scattering some eggshell or cuttlebone in the soil can help reduce egg predation.

It’s much better to have there enclosure setup ready before you get any animal. They already went through the stress of being took out of there habitat and put in a little container. It’s a lot better for them if you have it setup first. Also make sure you freeze or put those rocks in the microwave for 10 minutes. So all the bad bacteria from outside is killed.
Mourning geckos are so cool! They're little lesbians! They need to simulate copulation to start the reproductive process. They're one of my favorite creatures.
They are technically not lesbians! They can reproduce asexually, meaning they don’t need anyone to have babies! It’s really cool and they make great pets!
These are everywhere in my house, usually at night time when you leave your drink out in the open, they will come and take a few sips. Everytime I find em drinking from my cup or they are making noise while fighting (you just hear screaming and clicking noises) lol.
@@phrog2785 they are escape artists too. Search up on google. Had a perfect 10 gallon for her but I didn't have no lid on. They can survive out of water for only 20 minutes tho. Search everywhere couldn't find her body. Probably went inside a vent.
@@phrog2785 thank's man, next time a lid is necessary. Had her for 8 months, she was so smart. When it's feeding time she comes up to the surface so i could feed her dried bloodworms. She also lets me pet her gently and she sometimes gives me little nudges while I clean the tank. Sad that she died a painful death. I'll miss her. SIP.
I find these little cuties in my house all the time! Sometimes in my neighboors's houses too! I try to catch them before other people kill them and release them somewhere safer I never knew they were all clones of each other!! 0:

If you want to get rid of the ceran wrap, try some fly screen to cover the lid. Still small enough holes, but much better ventilation.
