Fr. Dodgers went backwards in challenge level as the postseason went on. The Padres were the only ones that really felt like a challenge for the Dodgers.
Don't feel bad for Mike Trout. He is a Philadelphia Eagles season ticket holder, which means that he gets to experience what it's like to win in October.
Bro making me cry about how much I love my Los Angeles Dodgers… what a run, blessed to get to Games 1&5 of the NLDS, and Game 1 of the World Series, still speechless, where ya at haters? Because our Los Angeles Dodgers are the 2024 World Series Champions!!! Let’s go Dodgers 💙
I'm not even a Mets fan and I know that payroll didn't match their roster 😂 that high payroll was thanks to guys who weren't even on the current roster
As a Mets fan this was my favorite season of my lifetime. I know they didn’t win the Pennant like ‘00 or ‘15, but this season still tops those. Considering the expectations starting the year and the memorable moments (Pete’s WC homer, Lindor GS, rally in game 1 of the NLDS) this is one I’ll remember and cherish my whole life
I have no idea what it is, but what is going on with the coloring in the Mets/Phillies series at Citi Field? Seems like there's a saturation filter mixed with greyscale that makes the blue/reds pop but everything is grey
It's totally historic. I for one, certainly did not expect Shohei to win it in his first year with the Dodgers, and did not expect to be able to hit it so well with him still actually nursing his right arm.
The line is drawn in the sand. People who had the audacity to say this world series would be an MLB fans worst nightmare are the enemy. You know who you are.
The Freddie Freeman GS is THEE only Walkoff GS in WS history, I don’t get why non Dodger fans are always trying to diminish the greatness of THEE Greatest Franchise in Sports History
I find it funny that MLB wanted this series to get money the 23 World Series only for the 24 World Series to be an almost exact replica of the 23 World Series
Oh, I hate to be this guy (no I don’t) But Freddie Freeman‘s walk off grand slam is the first of its kind. The only other walk off home run in World Series history was in 1988 lol Kirk Gibson
The entire jomboy office refuse to give the dodgers their credit or tell their story correct. Homie goes balls deep into the mets short run and hand waves the dodgers entire run
Outside of some “historic” facts and a few rly good games, the postseason was just OK. Once again the wild card rounds had minimal drama. The DS were great. Both LCS weren’t nearly as good as 2023 and the World Series was anticlimactic
So lindor mvp talks are dead. As per jolly. “Who ever wins the nlcs gets mvp fair?” Sounds good. The two teams with the biggest payrolls making the World Series is not historic. 5 games is not historic. Shohei Ohtani played like shit and then injured himself get caught steeling, and the Yankees blew a 5-0 leads in one inning. The only thing historic was Aaron Judges batting average. Freddy freeman is a legend, aside from that both teams are dead to me
Yeah, that's what that statement means. It's quite a common term to use. "Dodger's season to lose" means that they're expected to win, and if they were to lose it's due to their own problems instead of the other team's ability
Dodgers massacred the whole Jomboy crew
LFG DOYERS
Humbled the nostalgia out of Yankees fans😹
😭😭😭😭
You love to see it!
Other than Trev!
Dodgers won at injury strength…. Thats horrifying….
Most teams were at injury strength except the Yankees and Padres.
@@supreme1572n we still beat them
@@supreme1572 2 best teams in the playoffs other than the Dodgers and we beat them with 3 starters lol
@@supreme1572dodgers were probably the worst case tho

As a dodger fan how did the Mets give us a problem but the Yankees didn’t

That whole Division Series was a fucking ride, it was a great time to be baseball fan tbh
I was eating my food and refreshed my RUclips page and saw this and I was like “yessss another jolly video” 🙏🏽
One can hate the dodgers and their fans (like me) and still respect what they did....
Thanks for a great season Jolly Olive you do a great job. Love watching your videos
Thanks for a fantastic season of content!
That video of you watching the Alonso home run in the wild card game will go down in history.
Great video. Can’t wait for next season.
2015 was best post season of alll time for me. No other time in baseball has been as exciting since!
Agreed. These playoffs were pretty good as well due to the Royals being there
There it was, your turn to be happy hahaha congrats, great channel and even tough the Mets didn't advanced to the WS, it was a great unexpected run
I guess the bag the Yankees had it in had a hole in it
Love the channel God bless brother
“How improbable this mets run had been”
317 Million Dollar Payroll… that not improbable that is expected
I'm not even a Mets fan and I know that payroll didn't match their roster 😂 that high payroll was thanks to guys who weren't even on the current roster
Just glazed over the Yankees historic game 5 collapse in your 'Historic' playoff retrospective? I mean, it's worth mentioning...
Jolly, i didnt wanna say anything a couple weeks ago, but the Magglio home run was only a 3 run shot
That Ohtani 3 run jack was the trigger

Bruh spared Jomboy by leaving out 5th inning activities
Thanks Jolly for not talking about the Yankees game 5 defensive meltdown.
It's totally historic. I for one, certainly did not expect Shohei to win it in his first year with the Dodgers, and did not expect to be able to hit it so well with him still actually nursing his right arm.
The Gritty Tigs run to end the season and WC round will always be remembered but man I’ll never get over blowing the ALDS. That sucked
2:32 When you say postseason debut, does that mean with a new team? King pitched in the 2020 playoffs with New York, 1 game, 2 IP
The line is drawn in the sand. People who had the audacity to say this world series would be an MLB fans worst nightmare are the enemy. You know who you are.
Doyers spanked both New York teams this post season. At least according to my research this did occur.
still hurts
"Everyone wants to be on a team that had the same W-L record as Cincinnati last year and hasn't won sh*t in the last 15 years"

If themets brought murph in to manage the mets, they'd beat the dodgers. He always crushed us 😂😂😂

Parker Meadows best CF of the playoffs

Dbacks and Yankees both should've won game 1 and 5 in their respective series it's wild 😭
Why does this dude look like Schlatt and Jombpy had a baby
Oh, I hate to be this guy (no I don’t)
But Freddie Freeman‘s walk off grand slam is the first of its kind. The only other walk off home run in World Series history was in 1988 lol Kirk Gibson
How many grand slams were there total?
That’s not a chris Paul meme moment lol
Dodgers World Champs 2024! 🏆
very kind of you to gloss over the yankees absolutely imploding.
CORBIN COME BACK TO CALIFORNIA!!

Both al wildcard series were disappointing for who?
This postseason was really not that good. There were big moments, there always are. But the series were just too lopsided overall.
You should dissociate from Jomboy
🎉the Yankees lost 😝
@@donovanpartridge6698 Yankees lose tttttthhhhhhhhheeeeeeeee Yankees lose
7:00 Yankees Sox and giants dodgers are way better rivalries
Those have more history to them but right now Dodgers vs Padres is best rivalry (from a Red Sox fan)
Can we please stop overusing the adjective "historic" . Do these headline writers even know what it means?
The World Series was also boring it was all dodgers, if it went 6-7 games id beg to differ
108th!!!

you talk too fast in this video
I feel like this video isn't appropriate for a playoff that ended less than a week ago because you're just repeating the storylines we heard all month
That’s kind of the point of the video
First!
Dodgers won the WS on 1 leg. Not Like Us. 😎💙🤍🏆
