Hey, can you give me the tips to cancel the iceblock right after u used it? I saw on your video its like insta canceling iceblock. Love your video btw, very helpfull!
Hello there and thanks! For Iceblock I use following macro: #showtooltip /cancelaura Ice Block /cast Ice Block 1st click will put you in Ice Block, 2nd click will remove it. Just make sure you don't double-click when you actually need to stay blocked, it can take few days if you are used to spam the button. :)
NameplateAuras didnt show Living Bomb for me, can you please doublecheck to confirm if you actually use that addon and if you perhaps have made any adjustments to it? It showed frostnova debuff but not Living Bomb for example. Thx in advance
Hey there! I believe there indeed needs to be done some settings. If I remember correctly back when I start using it I turned off all debuffs and allowed only few I cared about. Chances are Living Bomb is on the list its just not activated by default. If you don't see it in spells menu at all - you can also add any missing effects (I definitelly added Improved Scorch and Empowered Shadowbolt to track crit debuff). Also make sure to set only your Living Bombs to be displayed at its settings so you don't mistake other mages LBs with yours. :)
Hello there. Yes! I will be definitely dropping mage tips for ICC. Usually I dedicate first few weeks to enjoy myself in the game, test all the moves and compile footage, so it will take some time but stay tuned as it is planned! :)
Hey there Headie, 1. At the moment I can recommend running Gundrak HC for Embrace of the Spider and especially Eye of the Broodmother trinket from bonus boss. Later when Gamma dungeons come out on ICC release you can farm new currency and buy Flare of the Heavens and normal Reign of the Dead trinkets. 2. Prioritize buying Petrified Ivy Sprig wand for Sidereal Essence. 3. Use emblems to get tier gear fast. 4. If you got money to spend getting these crafted pieces will push you good: Merlin's robe, Bejeweled Wiyard's bracers and Sash of Acient Power. Besides slots above just scrape whatever pieces you can get from dungeons and raids later on. :)
You should iceblock the stomp right before he does it, that way you get more pumping than with invis, as it costs you just one global cooldown and you will immune the stomp and it wont knock you back and as with invis you have to stop attacking for 3 seconds before you have to remove it, retarget the boss and cast again.
I agree that using primarily Iceblock is better choice as you described. But paladins HoP should go to some class like wlocks without their own means of dodging the Massive crash, so if the raid goes through 2 crashes Invis is there for use. :)
Hey there. Yes it still works, it just ain't easy to time it correctly. For the sake of consistency I can recommned to use Ice Block or Hand of Protection from fellow paladin first and keep Invis as backup when IB and HoPs are on cooldown.
Hello Bill, yes you can Iceblock opposite Val'Kyr vortex damage. But it is not gain for you in any way, take it just as life-saving move if you are not able to switch essence for some reason.
Ah ok it might be the way my guild does the fight ..we start in dark essence and tank drags dark to light so we fight by the light essence ..so have to swap to light for light vortex then back to dark ..so if I block it I won’t have to run to the back to get the dark again and I don’t need to worry about some meatball hitting balls during the transition which happens
@@billwillette7558 Well, one essence-swap run with nitro boots + Blink and some insta-casts along the way is less downtime for your DPS than sitting 5s in IB, but if safety is your concern you can definitely use that. :)
Hello! I do as follows: 1. Prepot Flamecap + use gloves and Combustion when trinkets proc after pull 2. Gloves when any trinket procs after worms emerge 3. Gloves asap on CD when killing 2nd worm 4. Haste pot + gloves + combustion when Icehowl gets stunned on the wall
You can review any of top parse log to see it does pop on boss and every single mage with top logs does LB Snobolds. :) classic.warcraftlogs.com/reports/GfVv46tApxJ7DgnH#fight=5&type=damage-done&source=323&by=target&phase=1&view=timeline
You should not Living Bomb the Snobols as they should die too quickly to explode. Also the exploding doesn't off, AoE doesn't work on them. I have a 97 parse on Beasts and this will not improve that. Also don't cancel a cast just to spellsteal from Jaraxxus. Spell cancels are always bad for parsing.
Hello there, If your guild kills Snobolds in less than 12seconds you are lucky to have so prompt group and definitely it's not worth putting LB on them. But note that Snobolds do explode - they just don't take AoE damage themselves, however boss does receive their explosion. Hey man, tks for the video, what's the WeakAuras Living bomb you're using over the enemy's?
Hello there!
I am sure there is some WA doing the same thing but I use separate addon "NameplateAuras".

ye, but in that case you're not winning any dps

Brilliant, doing one for ICC?

The flamecap incurs a 3min CD on your pot btw, so prepopping a flamecap is not a good idea
On a long fight like beasts why wouldn't you?
Hi Sebastian. Northrend Beasts encounter takes over 4minutes so even with 3min pot CD you are good to enjoy another potion on Icehowl.
Hey I am new 80 Mage.. planning on gdkp soon. Are there any big ticket items I can get before GDKP that wont get replaced soon? Greetings

Does the invis trick still work? Ive use it a few times and always get knocked out.

Great video as always!
Thank you, Andreas! Positive feedback makes me continue creating these videos! :)
wow! this is very helpful!!! huge thanks my mage brother!!!!
Glad to be helpful!
How do you use your cooldowns on the beasts?

Which addon do you use to see the living bomb on all healthbars?
Hello there, what I use is called NameplateAuras.

True AoE dont count on the kobolts, but if it explode near the boss, the boss take full dmg from the AoE.
