i'm so glad i found ur mage video. i'm still new to arcane and my gs now only 5k. i am struggling with dps around 3.5k dps (without CD) and 5.5k then drop to 4k (with CD POP) and state priority with current gears still have no idea what to cap. could u help advice me some tips on building arcane mage? or perhaps u got a guiding video that would be great.

Hi. :) I know it's late but would you mind me asking how much crit % you have in this video? I'm currently @ 1400 haste unbuffed and I most of the times, I find my spells not critting at all. Self-buffed, i'm sitting at 39% crit. Do I compensate with gems or gear?
From what i remember i had normal ttw gear with normal ttw gems in that video just the trinket was the difference. If you didnt already check this guide - forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=122680 and read comments there are good explanation about haste rotation and crit.

And a few things more if it's okay, you mentioned you used ttw gear except trinkets. So, T10 legs and robe of waking nightmare. Isn't that overkill on hit? Or do you move points from arcane focus to other talents? SotM or Arcane Shielding perhaps for sustainable Mana shield. Sorry for the length, I'm hella impressed and watched the whole vid twice now.
Im playing rn on Frostmorne realm as arcane and i can't even comprehend how are you able to do that much dps... is it still possible i mean ? Lot of guys in my guild are asking from me to switch on fire but i like arcane more..
Late reply. This DPS only possible on Icecrown due to the 30% DPS buff in ICC (which doesn't exist on either Lordaeron or Frostmourne to my knowledge). When it comes to your spec, frost isn't viable when it comes to raiding. Fire vs arcane tends to be a matter of opinion; both perform extremely well, but there are certain caveats with both. Fire is extremely gear-reliant (crit), while arcane is more forgiving in that department. Many will say that arcane is just as good as fire end-game, but you cannot afford to move often (fire seems to be a bit more forgiving in fights with lots of movement due to instant pyroblasts). If you ask me, I'd go arcane until I get geared enough to switch to fire.

As you can see mostly it procs on every 3rd sometimes between 4 and 5 for the first time. I dont know where you saw every first cast, sometimes may be but usualy 3 to 5 casts.

I didn't donate for a single item on all of my toons. There are couple of guilds farming 3_4_5_6 etc lods and halion kills per week. In order to gear progress fast you need guild like these. I'm not sure when was last server reset but may be more or less before 3 years. It's normal to see bis people on that d realm with guilds capable of famining end game gear every day. You can check my mage playlist how the gear on that toon progress even as 6.1gs mage back then i was again able to pull 20k dps with full crit gear.

Well if Warmane finally fixes Arcane spec no one will even think to play it. This is too overpowered dps considering that Arcane Mage should do dps which is a bit higher than elemental shaman's one and at most situations they should be almost equal. Arcane Mage is all but not funny class - this is the most bored class in the game :D
Sadly that is the current state of the spec. I macro it to play it with just one button spam, its not fair to other classes.You do basically nothing and pull huge numbers.

Enzo Barria since im using 3x rotation mana was not problem. Molten armor hit with raid buffs and talents 17%.

Where did you download addon on warmane?
On warmane i don't know. You can download addons for wotlk from every addon site like curse and so on just go on version and pick 3.3.5
Is the arcane spec nerfed since then?

The only difference between fire and arc was the trinket dfo over cts. That is not optimal for arcane but that was how i was in the video.

This is too overpowered dps considering that Arcane Mage should do dps which is a bit higher than elemental shaman's one and at most situations they should be almost equal. Arcane Mage is all but not funny class - this is the most bored class in the game :D
Sadly that is the current state of the spec. I macro it to play it with just one button spam, its not fair to other classes.You do basically nothing and pull huge numbers.

I just watch the latest LOD where you guys did with solo tank and this things are still not working.
