Nice mod. My keeb change a lot after it. Thanks for the video. My only concern is my spacebar which has a high pitch sound coming from the stabs and the aluminum case. I lubed them but it didn't solve it. Maybe the stab bar is not well aligned or something.
Yeah, maybe it is not aligned, did you try to check it?! I always check wires alignment before lub then, sometimes the mods helps with the high pitch, but sometimes only realigns solve it
Heeey Joozi, thanks for the comment, yes it works, the only difference is that u’ll reach a different sound profile, the main goal of a tape mod is make the sound deeper, and the foam is a plus for that, you can try it by yourself and see the difference

well, personally i still prefer the traditional tape mod, but in the case of cidoo i was trying to get a slightly different sound profile, when we put the tape mod on the pcb, we are trying to make our sound have a deeper noise, in this case I wanted a deep sound but not the same as other keyboards I have, I tried to achieve a unique result, I particularly liked it a lot, I learned that watching the Consumer Tech Review channel
