  • The new 65% gasket mounted wireless Cidoo V65 from Epomaker is sure to make some waves. I can't believe how premium this mechanical keyboard is completely stock, it is sure to give the Zoom65 a run for it's money.

    I picked up this board today, had some of the switches already in another board and liked them. When I found this on Marketplace new but unused at a discount I had to grab it. I was definitely pleasantly surprised at how great it sounded out of the box. The keycaps, while I don't like the font, are really thick for included caps as well. I personally don't game over wireless except for MMOs, any FPS games I just plug in. Great review, very thorough!

      Awesome! It’s a great one. It’s still on my desk, I’m using it as my main keyboard regardless of the others I’ve been reviewing. Thank you so much 🤙

    Nice video dude. I checked out the recommended video at the end as well. In the market for a new keyboard soon so thanks for the information in both videos

    I was considering get the gmmk pro, I have the gmmk 1 compact and I love it because of the aluminum it feels premium but this keyboard also looks good and is cheaper than the gmmk pro.

    Thanks for the review - Any thoughts on this vs the Keychron Q2 Pro? :)

      @GekkoTechGaming  10 месяцев назад +1

      No prob, thank you for watching! I can't speak to it directly since I don't have one to test out. But it's pretty widely said to be an excellent board from what I've heard others say about it. Significantly more expensive than the V65 with very similar features though. Q2 Pro has an exploded layout though which is very nice.

      To be honest I’m not sure which it is… Pulling out the PCB I think it’s 1.6mm. Thank you 🤙

    hey man, great thorough review, just wondering why you would reccomend the MAXFIT67 over this board for gaming, is it solely because of the 2.4 support? because I have no issue using a wired keyboard so if that is the only gaming benefit of the MAXFIT then I might look into purchasing this board instead.

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад

      Not sure I would necessarily recommend the MAXFIT 67 over the V65 for gaming. Yeah, the only significant difference if we are isolating for gaming use would be the 2.4hz wireless. The bluetooth has way too much delay for any kind of serious gaming use. But if you don't care about wireless, yeah you could get this. If you aren't concerned about gasket mounting and the more premium case and build, you'd be saving some money if all you're concerned with is performance. But, at 30$ more you get a VERY premium board that works just as well for wired gaming.

      @@GekkoTechGaming Tbh the Finalkey V65 R2 is definitely better than the MAXFIT 67.. I own both as well as many other higher end boards compared to theses. And MAJORITY of gamers only use wired due to latency. The V65 R2 is much higher quality, much better sounding, flex gasket mount, full CNC aluminum, uncludes great switches & keycaps, knob. The V65 R2 is just on another level..

      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад

      @@Dyaltic Yep, that's all pretty much the points I was making in my last reply. I'm just a bit confused though, you're the second person to think I'm recommending the Maxfit67 over the v65. I don't think I ever did in the comment or the video..? But yeah agree 100% with everything you're saying, it's a very high level of quality for the v65 asking price. One of the best boards I've used in terms of stock quality and enthusiast features at the price point. But you'd be saving money with the Maxfit if you don't care about the enthusiast luxury features of the v65. Everyone has different priorities and budgets

      @Dyaltic Год назад

      @@GekkoTechGaming I undertand what you were saying now, I was just pointing out that the much better board V65 is only $15 more and it's night and day in comparison. It'd be a waste not saving $15 more for it considering its on a complete different level

      In Bluetooth the LEDs turn off. Can't turn them on while wireless unfortunately but hey, better battery duration. Would be better to just let the user choose though.

      Well I'll be darned. Opened it back up to check and yep, looks like it does support screw ins along with plate mount stabs. Don't know why they wouldn't advertise that, that's a nice plus.

      Would be sick, just not sure how well the 2.4ghz would work through the metal case, I think they usually interfere with signals which is a bummer.
