Hello! I have to find that paint edger. Thanks for all those tips. 2 more pro tips (my ex mother in law had a business in this and her last name is Folie and it means craziness. Obviously, I trusted her.) - to have a better coverage you need to cross the lines. Vertical and horizontal. (I notice no one seems to do this in North America.) - to have visually a smoother effect, if the natural light come from above, you have to finish vertically and if it come from the side, you have to finish horizontally. The light won't bump on the brushstrokes. All my love to you and Baguette.
In the next week I am fully uprooting my life and moving to the actual other side of the world. Where there will be house purchasing. And I anticipate wall painting. And many other DIYs. Keep 'em coming, you Queen!
I wish I could give you more than 1 thumbs up, so I am awarding you my unicorn award for THE BEST diy RUclips content. Please keep them coming. We appreciate your work. 🦄🌟🌟
Not painting yet but will be going room by room in my son’s house next year. He and I will be doing whatever needs to be done. It may take all year because we are a cash only family
I think I ll take that as my cue to paint a room (eyeing the most expensive white paint in the corner i bought for brightening up my living room). There are people who read horoscopes and there is me, who just watches this channel to get directions, apparently :-D
Your foil tip is *chefs kiss* so glad I watched this last week before my jaunt over to Home Depot. Re-painting my bathroom ceiling to baseboards today. PS I was literally the only 💃🏽 inside of MDR Home Depot at 6am who wasn’t an employee. Love that you make home reimagining accessible beyond styling a shelf
I LOVE you. I just learned so much. Your delivery is fast, concise and flippin hilarious. No time wasted. Just discovered your videos this morning (loved your home tour) and besides being so helpful, I felt like I'd found my other half just in the way you talk. Also my apartment style is somewhat similiar to yours. My cats have a little mirror hung low by their dishes that says, Bubble, Bubble...Here comes trouble. Thank you for making these videos!!! My day is brighter.
You make the edger sound like something new, hasn't everyone used them before? They even make one that paints corners..(I love that one!) These are fantastic tips. Extremely useful! The trim/baseboards have been my personal hell.. can't wait to use that tip. I might even enjoy painting my living room now. Any tips to paint textured ceilings? Especially covering brown leak spots on textured ceilings? The leaks are fixed but I dread painting the stained texture.
Haha. You’d think so, but everyone I’ve ever painted with/told about had not used them. So happy we can preach the gospel. Ooopfh for that ceiling. Top things that come to mind are using a stain-blocking primer (my handyman did this in an old apartment bathroom). Make sure you have the right nap for the texture. And best tip I’ve heard is to paint side to side instead of rolling it front to back (like over your head). Saves neck/back pain.
This is a great vid for that. Basically, you apply a bit of compound or spackle and use a dry paint brush to move it around and mimic the texture: ruclips.net/video/LLiKD1XTLc8/видео.htmlsi=QpE9RHt8yO5TqI3k
White is my nightmare. I have only painted a room white once and it is the only time I have been unhappy with my paint color choice… and that was after swatching!! Ugh🙄🙄😣

Love these tips! I don’t know why we’re so anti-horizontal. Haha.

So excited for you! Can’t wait to see projects. 🙂

Thank you for watching. And very nice to have a new decor doppleganger. I love kitty dining spaces-what a damn delight. ❤️❤️❤️
This was so informative!
Happy to share the hacks
Thanks for the tutorial! The baseboard hack is epic - do you KNOW how much plastic and painter’s tape I’ve gone through trying to protect the floor?!?
It is the best hack! Saved my sanity when we painted Rachele’s carpeted bedroom.
I use to same edger and apply paint to it with a paint brush. I find it easier so you dont get paint on the wheels❤
Totally. My fave hack of all time.
Love this! Getting caught up after dealing with the flu🤧
❤️❤️❤️
Good tips!
❤️

Tips on filling holes on textured walls for after sanding

I know we “whip” the paint brush after rinsing it, but do we also “nay-nay” the brush or like what’s the deal? 🤔
Always, honey
I covered all the anchors with photographs and framed diplomas 😅
Yet another brilliant hack
I hate painting I need all your help especially with painting and staining furniture
I know it can be so tricky
50 shades of white from cool to warm.
Totally
was that Rachel helping???
Yep. Stay tuned for next week’s ep 😉
My next room I paint I will print out a picture of your face to tape to the ceiling so you can supervise the whole process.
What a blessing and an honor 🙏
White is my nightmare. I have only painted a room white once and it is the only time I have been unhappy with my paint color choice… and that was after swatching!! Ugh🙄🙄😣
People don’t understand white is the most dangerous game 😂
Why no satin finish ?
Definitely also an option
I feel very attacked
Come feel attacked to my face (and film with me).
