Someone I know was in Fight Club with him and said Meatloaf was really a great guy. You'd never know he was so famous.. Heaven could have waited for you Jim and Meat. I didn't know you existed until later that week after you died. I've heard Two Out of Three Ain't Bad and Surf's Up before but I wasn't into 70s music, most 80s and 90s music then so I didn't bother to look up the singers. I am SOOOOOOOO SAD 😭 that I wasn't into 70s, most 80s and 90s music. NOBODY, N.O.B.O.D.Y will beat you two in Rock N Roll. You guys are the GREATEST DUO in Rock N Roll history. Nobody is gonna be better than you even if the rapture happens and people go to heaven and hell for eternity. So what I'm saying is for the rest of eternity, NOBODY, again N.O.B.O.D.Y is going to be better than you two. I can't believe I didn't discover you two until a week after you died. This is beautiful Harri! You're so right about it possibly being prophetic in a way. What I love about music is that no matter what emotion one can think of, there is a song that speaks volumes to you at a certain time, or impacts what you're going through in real time.. Being older now, I've loved seeing a lot of these musicians that I grew up with still kickin' it, so to speak! It's beautiful. RIP Mr. Aday.

To all Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman fans: Do yourself a favor and check out the video clip of the new Ellen Foley and Karla DeVito duet here: ruclips.net/video/Kh9QXC5SpuQ/видео.html called "I'm Just Happy To Be Here" which was released December 10th, 2021 (just over a month ago) from Ellen's latest album "Fighting Words". At 70 and 68 years of age these ladies still have what it takes! For those who don't know them from their respective solo careers (do check them out as they were and are great on their own), Ellen was the female lead voice on "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" (and backing vocalist on 3 other tracks from Bat Out of Hell), while Karla DeVito performed that role (lip-synching to Ellen's voice) in the video clips and performed with Meat Loaf live on tour after the album was released. Despite having known each other since 1975-1977 (When Ellen was singing this very song "Heaven Can Wait" as Wendy in the Jim Steinman Musical 'Neverland' and Karla was a backing vocalist with her band playing the instruments), this is only the 2nd time Ellen and Karla have worked together on a recording that was officially released. The first being both of them singing a lead section on the song "Going All the Way (A Song in 6 Movements)" from Meat Loaf's final album "Braver Than We Are" from 2016. FYI - Ellen and Karla have both recorded their own versions of "Heaven Can Wait". You can find Ellen's versions here ruclips.net/video/2LGEfWHjoJc/видео.html (1977 live from Neverland) here ruclips.net/video/bqgWiOoBE4c/видео.html (1980 live in Amsterdam) and here ruclips.net/video/viGtn1OxJUs/видео.html (2015 studio version) Karla's 1981 version is here ruclips.net/video/pe2Dz4hdkbc/видео.html and a live version from 1982 here ruclips.net/video/iP0hiYzKnOQ/видео.html
