I would suggest mounting it to a steel frame (base plate)
to eliminate any movement when machining..

Такое лепить, у кого время очень много,и хочет очень гемороя заработать. Посмотри как наши ребята делают за день. Прямо на двигатель трезубец, заднюю бабку, и вперед. Работы на день, лучше этого в 100 раз. А гемороя в 20 раз меньше. Зачем такое лепить

I was like what is this rickety looking thing then he put a saw blade on it... Awesome!
Great idea to use old trash to make tools! 2 suggestions 1) flip your chisels they will cut better and stay sharp longer and give you more detail on your cuts 2) put a piece of wood behind your tailstock square to the chuck so the tailstock will slide square to the chuck.

Токарный станочек я бы вертикально сделал. И размер заготовки увеличился бы и место освободилось. Идея с передачей понравилась.

I am concerned about the circular wood spacer you improvised......the screw to wood to metal motor shaft I think makes the wood material weak and may not last considering the pressure it will be subjected to....using that machine. Great idea BTW !!!
