Return to Oz is really scary kids movie, but I feel Watcher in the Woods, Labyrinth, and Secret of NIHM are the scariest kids movies. I wish Disney made more scary kids movies like they did in the 1980s and they actually deserve the PG or PG-13 rating more than most Marvel movies.
"The little girl who lives down the lane" is a great movie imo! I really like the feeling in that movie. It made me glad to see that you collected it! I hope you will enjoy it as much as me.
I cannot believe out of all the movies they could've made that massive beautiful box set for, they chose Super Mario Bros. Speaking on behalf of the entire audience who screened it at the first available matinee back in the 90's ... holy wtf I don't even understand anything anymore.
If you love “Flight of the Navigator”, I’d recommend getting the Second Sight blu-ray release. It’s not region locked and plays fine on US players with plenty of great extras.

Yes, that is the version to get with a bunch of great and informative special features! The Disney disc is featureless. Well worth importing.
Great video, back when I had DMC , I picked up some of the Exclusives ,the Absent-minded professor, the Sequel son of flubber. Also got cool runnings,the three musketeers, and all three mighty ducks movies. Oh and Jeff Wanted to thank you for the movie I bought from you on whatnot , movie played great , I had the dvd and wanted to upgrade
Highly recommend the novel Something Wicked This Way Comes, I have the blu ray of the movie but haven't watched yet but the book itself is great

Alas, my Wal-Mart has none of those videos. But my local Best Buy still has videos, go figure.
I just did my last purchase the other day too. It was so sad 😭😭😭. I called and told them I’d miss them and thanks for a good run.
I'm pretty happy with Walmart and the Steelbooks lately. I grabbed Wonka as a blind buy, Steelbook looks super nice but the movie was just okay. The Lionsgate reprints they did are really great. I was able to grab the American Psycho and Dredd ones. Next week, Walmart's dropping the first US releases of some of the Mondo MCU Steelbooks. (My personal favorite of these is the Doctor Strange one.)
Also, a lot of old Best Buy exclusive Steels are even starting to pop up in Walmart's $5 movie bins.

After the info came out a few weeks ago, I went to EBay and bought 15 of these titles. Ones I still needed. And like a lot. Cost a pretty penny. But I think I only have a few more that I want. I will buy over the next month or so.

My 1st quarter haul has taken half of my yearly budget. I spent $552.12 (I already pre-ordered Moon Knight but that's going to be in my second quarter yearly budget).
I bought 10 4K movies (3 from boutique labels (it's my first time and I've found out how expensive they are))
3 blu-ray movies
3 TV shows (2 4K and 1 blu-ray)
I've been going HAM buying stuff left and right, but I'm too busy to watch all of them. But where there's a will, there's a way.
Don't remember where I heard about this one but, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022) is an under rated Funny Nicholas Cage film. Would recommend if you haven't seen it. Great video Jeff always enjoy your content. Some nice new pieces you have there.

As good as Disney will let them when it comes to what comes out. But the discs that do come out should be solid.
Ive never been a Disney movie club member but i recently got The Journey of Natty Gann blu ray from the club. Always wanted it on physical and i figure the price will just go up from here on out
I've been trying to buy return to Oz on blu ray here in Ireland with a few years but I can't find it at a reasonable price anywhere. I even came across it on eBay for over €100 at one stage.
It's one of my non Christmas related christmas movies that I only watch in December. I have almost 30 movies on Blu Ray and 4K blu ray with two or three on dvd because I can't find them on blu ray in my Christmas movies collection. Most of which are Christmas movies but a few are movies I watched on TV over the years in December.
Walmart is getting the older Disney Club Movies into stores, like Cinderella II & III, Mermaid II & III, Peter Pan, Hunchback, Snow White, and the X-Men 2000s Trilogy, so I will wait until they get some of these into stores. I already had Mermaid II & III thanks to an old friend and picked up Cinderella II & III and Snow White last week. Debating on getting Hunchback but I don't like Peter Pan so I passed on that.
you should watch Little girl down the lane asap. you will dig the older 70's style creepy "slow burn" horror. Creepy Martin Sheen as well.
I would love to get some of those DMC movies, in particular all of the Herbie movies, 20, 000 leagues under the sea and The Black Cauldron. But it's just to damn expensive to get them to Sweden. I have no contacts then could get them for me and looking at eBay listings were talking about 50-150 dollars per movie + 25-50 dollars in shipping + 25% import fee when it gets here. 700-1000+ dollars for 7 movies? I don't think I could ever convince myself of that, and especially not while not having any permeant job and being in a very uncertain financial situation. If I could get att 7 for for maybe 200-250 dollars including shipping I would maybe consider taking that money out of my saving account, if they are going out of print and probably increasing in second hand value, but probably that will never happen.
I would like to see that video on why preorders aren't working anymore. My Wednesday preorder from Amazon isn't coming till April 22nd for some reason.

hey jeff thanks for all u do brother. i will await the video about the preorders taking so long either amazon or walmart. it took me 3 weeks past the release dates for abyss, true lies and aliens. i refused but almost caved paying up to 80 for each on ebay. makes me sick ppl buy these up and sell on ebay knowing that best buy target are now longer carrying 4k. target may have a few titles but its laughable their physical movi media selection. physical media forever!
Ugh, I can’t believe I never capitalized on the Disney Movie Club. I would have loved to own “Something Wicked” on Blu Ray (especially since it’s not on Disney+). Oh well…

Have you seen Fear Inc? Has the catcher from the Sandlot. Horror/comedy about a guy who is always looking for the next scare to actually scare him for once and his wife sets something up. Pretty good but to get a Blu-ray will have to import
I'm still waiting on my last DM order. I can't wait for it to ship. I wanted to get Freaky Friday 2003 on Blu-ray, but when I will had the money to actually order it it was gone.
I just got the standalone UHD version of Super Mario Bros 1993, I did $100 to spend on the big box. But overall I'm still happy with the release and the included a contents, I just watched it the included lasagna work print a couple nights ago and it was honestly pretty interesting to see a work in progress version of the movie. Especially some of the temp music choices for kind of cool (there's a handful of back to the future cues and the theme to Beetlejuice). Unfortunately the UHD of the movie is only in SDR, but I still think it looks pretty good.

If it makes you feel any better, most the things worth having are sold out now and it currently takes like 10 business days to get shipments out of the warehouse whilst still charging $15 for shipping
FYI you can still order from DMC until May and it’s closed in July officially. You should’ve mentioned maybe?
On their website, most of those Disney Movie Club Blu-rays it says out of stock. The shipping takes a very long time now.
They are doing something funky with previously released titles. An order with an upcoming title may get shipped separately. Preorder title may not arrive till late April.
But previously released titles will arrive sooner

I think super mario bros 4k doesn't have HDR, I am not sure 🤔🤔
Some of the DMC transfers I heard are not great especially for Disney’s back catalogue titles. I have George of the Jungle, Rocketman and Holes.
My recent pickups: True Lies 4k, Aliens 4k, Scarface (Walmart Exclusive) 4k, Icons Unearthed: SW br, Castlevania S3 & S4 br,, Air Force One 4k sb, Batman Begins 4k sb, Paprika 4k sb, and Dune ( Walmart Exclusive) 4k sb. Today's pickups: The Batman 4k sb, First Blood & Last Blood ( Walmart Exclusive) 4k sb, Face Off, Monster Squad & Kindergarten Cop 4ks.
I don't believe I have ever seen Castlevania season 4 Blu-ray. I remember they did have Seasons 1-3. I'm not sure what happened 🤔
I managed to get SOME of the DMC exclusive Blu Rays I wanted, but some of them were out of stock. I REALLY hope that they will come back in stock before they close, but somehow I doubt it... :(
Definitely worth checking back. If it's in stock, definitely worth getting when you can
There were a small few that I missed getting which are now sold out which I’m still checking back from time to time in case they come back in stock. I know it’s a long shot but I’m still hopeful.

How much did u pay for the steelbook of The Batman? I ask because here in Canada they want me to pay 120$ on Best Buy. We have no steelbook ms in any of our Walmarts. Amazon really the only spot I know and it can be costly. Being Canadian and collecting movies is expensive I’m not a fan.

For people looking for a bargain, a lot of the forgotten Disney 60's-90's movies were released on DVD in the early 2000's. Those DVDs are fairly cheap and easy to find. There isn't a huge demand for them. I don't think it's necessarily worth upgrading to Bluray in a lot of those cases because those movies don't depend a lot one big visual effects. The 90's ones in particular were shot like TV movies. A Kid In King Arthur's Court comes to mind as an example of that.
